• List MySQL enum in Java

  Is there a way to get all possible values from a MySQL enum column? The MySQL documentation says the MySQL enum type is returned as a Java String, so I basically would like a way to get all possible strings I can pass when querying a table with such an enum. I couldn't immediately find anything when I was looking through the metadata returned for such a column, but since enum isn't standard SQL, I'm not sure it's even possible... any suggestions?

  I'm looking for a tool or service that can spider a web domain with a large number of pages, create a sitemap, and then visualize that map in a way that will help me see, understand and group content (I'm new to the site) Something like a tree-view or other standard Site Map visualizations would be great. I am yet unable to find a tool that does this (I've found plenty of things to spider the site and create an xml file, nothing to visualize it) Thanks!

  Is there any integration of Phing with Eclipse PDT and if not, are there any plans to do so? I found an eclipse plugin "PTI - PHP Tool Integration" that integrates php tools like PHP Depend, PHPUnit and others with the standard eclipse bundle. It may very well integrate phing at some stage.   I'm not big on creating GUI's, and generally my philosophy is: I don't create them, or I make them as simple as possible (and convince myself that it's better for usability :) For my current project, I'm using Qt from Python (PyQt), and I want to start adding some GUI elements without cluttering the interface. My idea is to create these elements as sort of floating-shaped-widgets that only appear when necessary; pretty much like the status bar (and find bar) in chrome. Is there any standard api that enables creating this kind of interface?

I am keen to try this out, but will have to get approval at work to do so. My questions are: Does the port work well, or are there limits to what the interpreter can handle compared with standard Python implementations? Does the iSeries database access layer work well, creating usable objects from table definitions?

• How to drop a primary key using ActiveRecord migrations

  Due to a mistake I forgot to add :id => false to a has_many :trough table creation migration. Now I reverted the association back to a has_and_belongs_to_many and ActiveRecord throws an exception complaining about the presence of the primary key. I couldn't find any reference on the ActiveRecord documentation so, do you know if there is any standard, clean way of doing it?
