  • MultiOS "Jet Database" for C++/Qt?

    Hopefully I can articulate this well: I'm porting an application I made years ago from VB6 (I know, I know!) to C++/Qt. In my original application, one thing I liked was that I didn't need an actual SQL server running, I could just use MS Access .mdb files. I was wondering if something similar exists for Qt that will work on multiple OSes - a database stored in a file, pretty much, but that I can still run SQL queries with. Not sure if something like this exists or not, but any help appreciated, thanks!

Previous count = 1, current count = 0" How can i find the stage where this error raised? how can i found the missing transaction or the stored procedure where it is not committ or rollback?

I need to run a report that would return how many articles of each type there is per every day, like this: date | count(type="A") | count(type="B") | count(type="C") ----------------------------------------------------- 2010-01-01 | 2 | 1 | 0 2010-01-02 | 5 | 6 | 7 Currently I am running 3 queries for every type and then manually merging the results select date, count(id) from article where type="A" group by date Is it possible to do this in one query? (in pure sql, no stored procedures or anything like that). Thanks

    Is there any way to export a Microsoft SQL Server database to an sql script? I'm looking for something which behaves similarly to mysqldump, taking a database name, and producing a single script which will recreate all the tables, stored procedures, reinsert all the data etc. I've seen http://vyaskn.tripod.com/code.htm#inserts, but I ideally want something to recreate everything (not just the data) which works in a single step to produce the final script.

    I've got the value of a radio button (r1) and I'm trying to use: $("input:radio[val=r1]").attr('checked', true); to check it. The thing is that I've got three radio buttons in a div, when I check one, the value of the checked button gets stored. When I reload the page I want the page to check the radio button that was chosen last. Thanks!

A Website project does not have a .csproj file (not to be mixed up with Web Application which does). In the case of a Website project, can I create a makefile equivalent, or does it use a build process/instructions stored elsewhere in the system or app?

    I know that I can take my asp.net application and get it reversed to a UML document, but that doesn't tell the whole story of things like who can use what, what it calls in the way of stored procedures, what pages call what pages etc. etc. Does anyone know of an article where someone has a comprehensive way to document a web application/site?     I want GWT to not serialize some fields of my object (which implements Serializable interface). Normally, transient keyword would be enough. However, I also need to put the object on memcache. The use of transient keyword would make the field not being stored on memcache also. Is there any GWT-specific technique to tell the serializer to not serialize a field?

  • vim unicode bufread/bufwrite script

    Problem: I want my unicode characters to be stored on disk as (rather tan utf8/16 encoding) \u#### However, I want them dispalyed as unicode characters when opened up in vim. I think the easiest way to acheive this is some bufopen/bufwrite script that automatically: on opening, convert \u#### to unicode character on writing, convert unicode characters into \u#### However, I don't know what functions to call to make this happen. Can someone lend a hand? Thanks!
