• JSF and Ajax4JSF on WebSphere 6.1 --> Problem with Form Submission

  Has anyone setup JSF1.1 with Ajax4JSF on websphere 6.1 ? I followed the instructions as mentioned in the developer guide . The problem that I am facing is that once I use a4j:support on any of my h:inputText item, the form values are not getting set in the backing bean on the submission of the form. I do have <h:messages> tag present just above the form so that all the problems should be reported there but I do not see any error message once I submit the form. But I do see that the values are not getting set. I need to find the solution as early as possible otherwise I probably have to throw the ajax4jsf framework and write javascripts instead :(

  Regular expressions have always been my pet peeves. Every time I think that I finally got it I have a new problem ! I want to catch url like this : http://www.mydomain.com/boutique/blabla-1/bla-bla2/99/104 http://www.mydomain.com/boutique/blabla1/99 and eventually : http://www.mydomain.com/boutique/blabla-1/bla-bla2/product1/99/104/55/ after a lot of tries and errors I came up with this which seems to work with http://www.gskinner.com/RegExr/ but not in apache ^.*/boutique/([a-zA-Z-]*)(/?[a-zA-Z-]*)/?([0-9]*)/?([0-9]*)/?$ boutique.php?c1=$3&c2=$4 (I was only working with the first two url so far) MY apache rewrite log debug files are helpless : pass through /Users/iko/Sites/mysite/boutique.php I'm only interrested in getting the ids. The problem is that the code above doesn't work, but if I put it within this div it works fine. I think it is maybe because this jquery plugin is applied before generating html by javascript, but I am not sure. Any ideas?

• Problem understanding treesort in Haskell

  I am trying to figure out how exactly does treesort from here work (I understand flatten, insert and foldr). I suppose what's being done in treesort is applying insert for each element on the list thus generating a tree and then flattening it. The only problem I can't overcome here is where the list (that is the argument of the function) is hiding (because it is not written anywhere as an argument except for the function type declaration). One more thing: since dot operator is function composition, why is it an error when I change: treesort = flatten . foldr insert Leaf to treesort = flatten( foldr insert Leaf )?

  I have this code in JavaScript: function change() { document.getElementById("mem").className = 'gif'; } The fig and gif are like this: a.fig { background: #FFFFFF; } a.gif { background: #000099 ; } and the function is used like this <a class ="fig" id ="mem" onClick="javascript:change()" href="users" > Where the only difference between gif and fig in CSS is that they have different background colors. The problem is that the change is only noticeable in just a second and it is not permanent! Any ideas?

  I have an IIS web site. This web site contains other web sites so the structure is like this. \ MainWebSite\ App1\ App2\ All sites are Asp.net MVC Webapplications. In the MasterPage of App1, I reference the script files like this: <script type="text/javascript" src="../../Scripts/jquery-ui-1.8.custom.min.js"> </script> The Problem is that he now tries to find the File at http:\server\MainWebSite\Scripts.... how can i work around that? Should I put all my Scripts and CSS files into the root directory, is that a preferred solution?

  I am using Eclipse and SVNSubversion as a repository for a Java project. After updating the local repository and starting Eclipse, an error (in the Problems tab) appeared stating that a specific prop-base file was missing from the build path. Being inexperienced, I have accidentally deleted the prop-base file icon from the project build-path library section. Since then the numbers of errors have grown exponentially... What should I do? Updating the local repository and/or starting a new Eclipse project from the same source did not solve the problem, does anyone have an idea?

I even tried with but with no luck. I am using C#3.0. Need help

• Debugging over-released objects, problem with NSZombie

  I have a reproduceable EXC_BAD_ACCESS during NSAutoreleasePool -drain, which seems to indicate that I am over-releasing an object. So I enable NSZombie, but then the program does not crash any more. Nor do I get any info logged to the console. If I turn NSZombie off, the crash comes back. What is the meaning of this? I thought NSZombies were used to tackle exactly this kind of problem. If NSZombie won't help, is there another way to interrogate this over-released object? Also the crash is not reproduceable on Simulator, which is why I can't use Instruments with NSZombie.

• Weird problem, with ghostscript and pdf files.

  Hello, am using ghostscript to create pdf file from postscript file. My PS file, doesn't have orientation instructions, so when I want to create landscape pdf file, I'm using ghostscript to rotate the page. The problem is, that ghostscript rotates only the first page, and when my pdf file is more than 1 page, the others, are not rotated correctly. Here is the command I'm using: cat $psinput | gs -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOuputFile="/tmp/pdf" \ -dAutoRotatePages="/None" -c "<< /Orientation 3 >> setpagedevice" \ 90 rotate 0 -595 translate -dNOPAUSE -dEPSCrop -f - -c -quit Does anybody have an idea how to correct this?

  I am having difficulty serializing a django object. The problem is that there are foreign keys. I want the serialization to have data from the referenced object, not just the index.   As a continuation of my min/max across an array of objects I was wondering about the performance comparisons of filter vs map. So I put together a test on the values in my code as was going to look at the results in FireBug. This is the code: var _vec = this.vec; min_x = Math.min.apply(Math, _vec.filter(function(el){ return el["x"]; })); min_y = Math.min.apply(Math, _vec.map(function(el){ return el["x"]; })); The mapped version returns the correct result. However the filtered version returns NaN. Breaking it out, stepping through and finally inspecting the results, it would appear that the inner function returns the x property of _vec but the actual array returned from filter is the unfiltered _vec. I believe my usage of filter is correct - can anyone else see my problem?

• Actionscript 3 3D sizing problem

  I have an application where I can have an image moving towards the eye. When the image enlarged, I would like to have it resized as 635 px where initial size was 220 px. I have the image with starting position as 0 in z axis. I am wanting to calculate the distance from starting position to the resized image. I have already calculate the distance by hand but when I tried to put it on flash the result is not what i wanted. I am sure that the value I calculated was correct. I know it may be hard to understand my problem. Please help.
