  • SVN: authz directory identifiers not support

    Without using the authz, all the svn users can login and use the repos without issues. However, I would like to limit the access to some directories - not to be readable or writeable for all users. svnserve --version = 1.6.6 I tried both, granting access to users and groups. I also tried it separate, only group or only user access. [groups] admingroup=i_can_access_anything limitedgroup=i_am_limited [/] #*= @admingroup=rw i_can_access_anything=rw [projectX] #i also tried [repository:/projectX] #*= @limitedgroup=rw i_am_limited=rw Trying to access the / or /projectX at the svn fails. = access denied Without the authz, it works properly, but also grants access to other projects that do not belong to the "limited" user group :-/ Do you see what's wrong there? It would seem as though D4O won't do inserts against SQL Server unless it's in controll of the key. Has anyone solved this in the wild?

    in default css what should i predefined for <table>, td, th , thead, tbody, tfoot I have to work in a project there are so many tables with different color schemes and different type of alignment like in some table , i will need to horizontally align data of cell to right, sometime left, sometime right. same thing for vertical alignment, top, bottom and middle. some table will have thin border on row , some will have thick (same with column border). Some time i want to give different background color to particular row or column or in multiple row or column. So my question is: What code should i keep in css default for all tables and how to handle table with different style using ID and classes in multiple pages. I want to do every presentational thing with css. How to make ID classes for everything using semantic naming ? Which tags related to table can be useful?

  • capturing click events on web-browser scrollbars

    Hi, is it possible to capture a click event on a scrollbar? I have some code where i am observing the click and mousedown events on the document. However, it seems that when I click on the scrollbar, the event is not captured. This leads me to believe that the scrollbars aren't really part of the document. (Assumption :-)) Is this a correct assumption?   • globalize2 with xml/json support

    I'm implementing a distributed application, server with rails and mobile clients in objective c (iPhone). To enable internationalization, I use the rails plugin 'globalize2' by joshmh. However, it turned out that this plugin does not translate attributes when calling to_xml or to_json on an ActiveRecord. Does anyone know of a workaround / patch? Do you have any ideas how to fix this, where to alter globalize2? Using: Rails 2.3.5 globalize2: commit from 2010-01-11

    Hello, I need to find a very compact, cross-platform web server that can run Lua scripts, ie. either a regular web server like Mongoose that will forward queries to a Lua program in eg. FastCGI, or a web server itself written in Lua which will save the need to provide a separate web server. I recently started learning about Lua so am still in the dark about what is available out there, save for the three I came accross: Barracuda Embedded Web Server http://barracudaserver.com/ba/doc/ Xavante - Lua HTTP 1.1 Web server http://keplerproject.github.com/xavante/ Haserl http://haserl.sourceforge.net/ If someone's already done this recently, what solution would you recommend along with any tutorial/article that would get me started?     i have the following query and its failing in Nhibernate 3 LINQ witha a "Non supported" exception. My DB tables are: VacationRequest (id, personId) VacationRequestDate (id, vacationRequestId) Person (id, FirstName, LastName) My Entities are: VacationRequest (Person, IList) VacationRequestDate (VacationRequest, Date) Here is the query that is getting a "Non supported" Exception Session.Query<VacationRequestDate>().Where(r => people.Contains(r.VacationRequest.Person, new PersonComparer())).Fetch(r=>r.VacationRequest).ToList(); is there a better way to write this that would be supported in Nhibernate? fyi . .the PersonComparer just compared person.Id

    Hello, With regards to the Razor view engine, say I want to render Html.TextBoxFor<SomeModel>(i => i.Name), it doesn't seem that the inline syntax works as in: @Html.TextBoxFor<SomeModel>(i => i.Name) This doesn't seem to work because it interprets the generic as an HTML tag. I could use a code-block approach, but then what's the best approach to output the content? The HTML string returned from this method, do I response.write it, or is there a syntax for it, or what's the approach? Thanks.

    Hello, I've asked this before but I was hoping for another answer and perhaps some code samples because I've been having a difficult time with this. I have an asp.net page. The user hits the "Run" button and I have code IN AN ASSEMBLY, not in the APP_CODE folder that is called and runs a long process that moves product info from a file into the database. While the user waits, I would like them to see status updates like what product the import process in on and status info. I'm assuming I'd break off into another thread and use Ajax but I have no idea how to do this. Some code samples would be very helpful, thanks.

    I need to export multiple data tables to Excel on the clients machine, each to their own sheet. If it was just one sheet, I'd use the Excel/csv content type, but I've heard something about an XML format that can represent an entire workbook. I don't want to go down the Packaging and .xlsx route, so I need standard .xls. Our bug tracker, Gemini, used to have an export function that produced an XML file that Excel automatically opened as a multi-sheet workbook, but I can't find it. Is there still such a mechanism, and where can I find that schema?

Instead of open in PDF application it is rendering PDF as text.     When someone posts a link to a web site in Facebook, it populates the link preview box with a photo and some text from the site. If someone posts a link to my site in Facebook, it is generally just get the site's domain name and one of the images that appears on the site. No text appears. I would like to be able to control what text and images appear in the link. Is there a specification that they use? Can I provide some metadata so Facebook will display what I want?
