  • HD movies stutter.

    - by Absolute0
I just put together a new system build in the hopes that all of my daily tasks would run smoothly and without any hiccups. Unfortunately I am still seeing some sound and sometimes video stuttering when playing HD movies in VLC (no problems with xvid/divx files). My setup is as follows: Intel core i5 750 quad core 2.66mhz 4GB ram asus p55 motherboard radeon hd 5570 video card 650gb 7200rpm western digital sata HDD 23" Nec ea23wmi monitor Operating System: Windows 7 What might be the main bottleneck that needs upgrading to fix my delays? Seems like the hard drive might be the problem but anything faster than 7200rpm is beyond my budget for a decent hard drive. Could it be anything else?

  • JBoss: Adding a New Binding for a New Service

    - by mlaverd
Hello, Warning: I'm a J2EE newbie. I have a server application that receives TLS connections containing Protocol Buffers messages. I'd like to port it to J2EE to take advantage of all its powerful features. Is there a way to add a binding that would have TLS enabled and would speak to my piece of code for interpreting and handling the request's data? If so, how? Thanks in advance!

  • Palit GeForce 8800GT 512MB Minimum Power Requirement?

    - by Wesley
Hi all, I am building a system for a friend. The potential specs are like this so far: ASUS A8N-VM motherboard AMD Athlon 64 3200+ @ 2.0 GHz Any 7200RPM SATA HDD Palit GeForce 8800GT 512MB GDDR3 PCIe One DVD/CD combo drive Creative SB Live! 5.1 sound card I was wondering what wattage of power supply would be able to support this hardware. I had a 350W in mind... would that do? Thanks in advance.

  • Is it still cheaper to build your own PC?

    - by Jeff Yates
With many companies offering build-to-order PCs, where they can source components at bulk purchase prices, is there any value in building your own PC. Is it still a good option for everyone or is it only cost-effective for those building fringe equipment like high spec gaming platforms? Don't forget to factor in the time and effort you spend building and configuring the machine. I know that it is often worthwhile as it builds understanding of your machine, gets you exactly what you want, etc., but is it still good for your wallet or would you be better off paying someone else to do it and spend more time doing something else?

  • What does this RPC error message mean?

    - by user161834
I have OS RHNL release 6.2 and use the NFS service (nfs-utils-1.2.3) to connect to NFS server, And found a lot of messages in a file /var/log/messages: Apr 1 11:08:35 XXX rpc.idmapd[3010]: nss_getpwnam: name '2' does not map into domain 'XXXX.com' Apr 1 11:14:26 XXX rpc.idmapd[3010]: nss_getpwnam: name '0' does not map into domain 'XXXX.com' Apr 1 11:18:36 XXX rpc.idmapd[3010]: nss_getpwnam: name '2' does not map into domain 'XXXX.com' Apr 1 11:24:27 XXX rpc.idmapd[3010]: nss_getpwnam: name '0' does not map into domain 'XXXX.com' Apr 1 11:28:37 XXX rpc.idmapd[3010]: nss_getpwnam: name '2' does not map into domain 'XXXX.com' Apr 1 11:34:27 XXX rpc.idmapd[3010]: nss_getpwnam: name '0' does not map into domain 'XXXX.com' Apr 1 11:38:37 XXX rpc.idmapd[3010]: nss_getpwnam: name '2' does not map into domain 'XXXX.com' Apr 1 11:44:28 XXX rpc.idmapd[3010]: nss_getpwnam: name '0' does not map into domain 'XXXX.com' Apr 1 11:48:37 XXX rpc.idmapd[3010]: nss_getpwnam: name '2' does not map into domain 'XXXX.com' What does this message mean ?

  • IPtables - Accept Arbitrary Packets

    - by Asad Moeen
I've achieved a lot on blocking attacks on GameServers but I'm stuck on something. I've blocked major requests of game-server which it aceepts in the form "\xff\xff\xff\xff" which can be followed by the actual queries like get status or get info to make something like "\xff\xff\xff\xff getstatus " but I see other queries if sent to the game-server will cause it to reply with a "disconnect" packet with the same rate as input so if the input rate is high then the high output of "disconnect" might give lag to the server. Hence I want to block all queries except the ones actual clients use which I suppose are in the form "\xff\xff\xff\xff" or .... so, I tried using this rule : -A INPUT -p udp -m udp -m u32 ! --u32 0x1c=0xffffffff -j ACCEPT -A INPUT -p udp -m udp -m recent --set --name Total --rsource -A INPUT -p udp -m udp -m recent --update --seconds 1 --hitcount 20 --name Total --rsource -j DROP Now where the rule does accept the clients but it only blocks requests in the form "\xff\xff\xff\xff getstatus " ( by which GameServer replies with status ) and not just "getstatus " ( by which GameServer replies with disconnect packet ). So I suppose the accept rule is accepting the simple "string" as well. I actually want it to also block the non-(\xff) queries. So how do I modify the rule?

  • How to tell httpd to preserve the proxied error message?

    - by ZNK - M
I have an httpd server proxying the requests to 2 different tomcat servers. One of my server handles the authentication and returns a specific http error code 521 when the user already have a running session. My issue is httpd automatically maps this 521 error code to a 500 (internal server error) and then my client can not handle it properly. I have tried to disable ProxyErrorOverride, to remove the /error/HTTP_INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR.html.var but it does not changes anything. How can I ask httpd to not change anything to the proxied message? <IfModule proxy_module> ProxyPass /context1 http://127.0.0.1:8001/context1 ProxyPass /context2 http://127.0.0.1:8002/context2 ProxyPreserveHost Off ProxyErrorOverride Off </IfModule> Thanks in advance httpd 2.2.22 (Win32) mod_ssl tomcat 7.25 windows 7 64-bits

  • Nginx Global Error Page

    - by sidprak
I see this question was also asked here: Configure Nginx global error page but there wasn't a suitable answer. I am currently allowing only certain IPs to some of my sites and would like Nginx to drop connections from the rest of the IPs instead of returning a 403. Ideally, I would like to do this without configuring each site separately. I have this in the http section: error_page 403 =444; But, now, it tries to serve up the page =444 instead of returning a 444.

  • How to make a JBoss service to handle Protocol Buffers directly?

    - by mlaverd
Hello everyone, I'm interested in building a JBoss service. Because I'm reusing some existing code, the service must be able to talk SSL/TLS and Protocol Buffers. The documentation I see on the JBoss wiki makes it look like services have their transport and data interpretation handled by JBoss itself. Is it really the case? How could I implement this requirement?

  • How to map command in vim that maintains mode when invoked?

    - by Phoenix
I'm configuring vim in Mac OS X's Terminal app to do useful things with my arrow keys (among others). For example, I want option-left to move the cursor back one word, similarly to how it works in other Mac applications. In normal mode, this is easy enough; I can simply map the sequence to b. But when I'm in insert mode, I want to stay in insert mode (i.e., map the sequence to <c-o>b. In my .vimrc` file, I have these lines: nmap ^[[xol~ b imap ^[[xol~ <c-o>b Where ^[[xol~ is the character sequence that I've configured Terminal to send when I press option-left. This works, but it gets pretty tedious, especially when I've got nearly two dozen commands that I want to map. Is there a better way to do this?

  • Is there any way to shut up my ATI HD 5770?

    - by slpsys
So to preface, I basically built Jeff's machine; I already had some of the components, including (scarily enough) the exact same case1. I've been buying bits and pieces over the past few months, which coincided perfectly with his recent post about three monitors, though not being a gamer outright, I opted for the second-from-the-bottom option. After finally plopping all the pieces lovingly into the case this evening, I turn it on...and it sounds like four professional grade hair-driers. Some quick regression analysis determined that with the video card out, the running machine sounded no louder than our house's vents. Basically, my last desktop build included a $45-at-the-time graphics card, and it's been Macbook Pros and workstations since then, so I have zero idea whether I'll just be able to tune the fan speed later on. Will I be able to get this thing to quiet down every time I'm not playing Modern Warfare 2 at maximum framerate, or should I just send this thing back now, and get the quietest card in my pricerange? 1 One thing of note is that I do not have noise-absorbing foam in the case, as is pictured in the article. I'm only mentioning that because I suspect it could drop the overall output a few decibels, but obviously not that many.

  • Workstation Build: Single 2.66ghz i-7 with overclock potential, OR Dual 5520 2.26ghz Xeons?

    - by jdc0589
There are probably better places to ask this, but I am used to the excellent quality of responses on stack overflow. I am rebuilding my desktop in a few months. Aside from normal lightweight internet usage, I use it to run sqlServer, mySql, 1-2 Ubuntu VMs from time to time, lots of IDE's, and a media server for my PS3. The two possible setups cost the exact same amount (within $50) and would both have 12gb 1333mhz ddr3 ram and a 500gb RAID-0 array (250x2). Now, If I go with a single i-7 920 2.66ghz quadcore, I can easily overclock it to 3ghz, and would have cash leftover to get a 160gb ssd (either the ocz vertex or the 120gb intel) for the main OS/Program install drive. Else, I could get a dual lga1366 motherboard with two e5520 Xeon's (2.26ghz),just use the disks I already have. So, do I go for 8 physical/16 virtual cores at 2.26ghz (No overclocking on server boards) with normal disk I/O, or a 4 physical/8 virtual cores at 3.0ghz with really outstanding disk I/O?

  • Building a Store Locator ASP.NET Application Using Google Maps API (Part 3)

Over the past two weeks I've showed how to build a store locator application using ASP.NET and the free Google Maps API and Google's geocoding service. Part 1 looked at creating the database to record the store locations. This database contains a table named Stores with columns capturing each store's address and latitude and longitude coordinates. Part 1 also showed how to use Google's geocoding service to translate a user-entered address into latitude and longitude coordinates, which could then be used to retrieve and display those stores within (roughly) a 15 mile area. At the end of Part 1, the results page listed the nearby stores in a grid. In Part 2 we used the Google Maps API to add an interactive map to the search results page, with each nearby store displayed on the map as a marker. The map added in Part 2 certainly improves the search results page, but the way the nearby stores are displayed on the map leaves a bit to be desired. For starters, each nearby store is displayed on the map using the same marker icon, namely a red pushpin. This makes it difficult to match up the nearby stores listed in the grid with those displayed on the map. Hovering the mouse over a marker on the map displays the store number in a tooltip, but ideally a user could click a marker to see more detailed information about the store, such as its address, phone number, a photo of the storefront, and so forth. This third and final installment shows how to enhance the map created in Part 2. Specifically, we'll see how to customize the marker icons displayed in the map to make it easier to identify which marker corresponds to which nearby store location. We'll also look at adding rich popup windows to each marker, which includes detailed store information and can be updated further to include pictures and other HTML content. Read on to learn more! • Help on TileMapRenderer

    - by Crypted
In my project, I'm trying to render a map using TileMapRenderer. But it doesn't show anything when I render it. But when I use some other files from a tutorial they are rendered correctly. When debugging my TileAtlas instance shows the size as 0. I have used Texture Packer UI for packing the images. Comparing with the tutorial's files, I can see that the index starts from 1 in my file and 0 in the tutorial. But changing it to 0 wouldn't work also. map.png format: RGBA8888 filter: Nearest,Nearest repeat: none Map rotate: false xy: 0, 0 size: 32, 32 orig: 32, 32 offset: 0, 0 index: 1 Map rotate: false xy: 32, 0 size: 32, 32 orig: 32, 32 offset: 0, 0 index: 2 Map rotate: false xy: 64, 0 size: 32, 32 orig: 32, 32 offset: 0, 0 index: 3 Map rotate: false xy: 96, 0 size: 32, 32 orig: 32, 32 offset: 0, 0 index: 4 Map rotate: false xy: 128, 0 size: 32, 32 orig: 32, 32 offset: 0, 0 index: 5 Here is the begining of the tmx file. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <map version="1.0" orientation="orthogonal" width="20" height="20" tilewidth="32" tileheight="32"> <tileset firstgid="1" name="a" tilewidth="32" tileheight="32"> <image source="map.png" width="256" height="32"/> </tileset> <layer name="Tile Layer 1" width="20" height="20"> <data> <tile gid="2"/> <tile gid="2"/> Apart from that the tutorial files and my files seems to be similar. Can anyone help me here.

  • How do I free up more space in /boot?

    - by user6722
    My /boot partition is nearly full and I get a warning every time I reboot my system. I already deleted old kernel packages (linux-headers...), actually I did that to install a newer kernel version that came with the automatic updates. After installing that new version, the partition is nearly full again. So what else can I delete? Are there some other files associated to the old kernel images? Here is a list of files that are on my /boot partition: :~$ ls /boot/ abi-2.6.31-21-generic lost+found abi-2.6.32-25-generic memtest86+.bin abi-2.6.38-10-generic memtest86+_multiboot.bin abi-2.6.38-11-generic System.map-2.6.31-21-generic abi-2.6.38-12-generic System.map-2.6.32-25-generic abi-2.6.38-8-generic System.map-2.6.38-10-generic abi-3.0.0-12-generic System.map-2.6.38-11-generic abi-3.0.0-13-generic System.map-2.6.38-12-generic abi-3.0.0-14-generic System.map-2.6.38-8-generic boot System.map-3.0.0-12-generic config-2.6.31-21-generic System.map-3.0.0-13-generic config-2.6.32-25-generic System.map-3.0.0-14-generic config-2.6.38-10-generic vmcoreinfo-2.6.31-21-generic config-2.6.38-11-generic vmcoreinfo-2.6.32-25-generic config-2.6.38-12-generic vmcoreinfo-2.6.38-10-generic config-2.6.38-8-generic vmcoreinfo-2.6.38-11-generic config-3.0.0-12-generic vmcoreinfo-2.6.38-12-generic config-3.0.0-13-generic vmcoreinfo-2.6.38-8-generic config-3.0.0-14-generic vmcoreinfo-3.0.0-12-generic extlinux vmcoreinfo-3.0.0-13-generic grub vmcoreinfo-3.0.0-14-generic initrd.img-2.6.31-21-generic vmlinuz-2.6.31-21-generic initrd.img-2.6.32-25-generic vmlinuz-2.6.32-25-generic initrd.img-2.6.38-10-generic vmlinuz-2.6.38-10-generic initrd.img-2.6.38-11-generic vmlinuz-2.6.38-11-generic initrd.img-2.6.38-12-generic vmlinuz-2.6.38-12-generic initrd.img-2.6.38-8-generic vmlinuz-2.6.38-8-generic initrd.img-3.0.0-12-generic vmlinuz-3.0.0-12-generic initrd.img-3.0.0-13-generic vmlinuz-3.0.0-13-generic initrd.img-3.0.0-14-generic vmlinuz-3.0.0-14-generic Currently, I'm using the 3.0.0-14-generic kernel.

  • Android strange behavior with listview and custom cursor adapter

    - by Michael Little
I have a problem with a list view and a custom cursor adapter and I just can't seem to figure out what is wrong with my code. Basically, in my activity I call initalize() that does a bunch of stuff to handle getting the proper data and initializing the listview. On first run of the activity you can see from the images that one of the items is missing from the list. If I go to another activity and go back to this activity the item that was missing shows up. I believe it has something to do with setContentView(R.layout.parent). If I move that to my initialize() then the item never shows up even when returning from another activity. So, for some reason, returning from another activity bypasses setContentView(R.layout.parent) and everything works fine. I know it's impossible for me to bypass setContentView(R.layout.parent) so I need to figure out what the problem is. Also, I did not include the layout because it is nothing more then two textviews. Also, the images I have attached do not show that the missing item is the last one on the list. Custom Cursor Adapter: public class CustomCursorAdapter extends SimpleCursorAdapter { private Context context; private int layout; public CustomCursorAdapter (Context context, int layout, Cursor c, String[] from, int[] to) { super(context, layout, c, from, to); this.context = context; this.layout = layout; } public View newView(Context context, Cursor cursor, ViewGroup parent) { LayoutInflater inflater = LayoutInflater.from(context); final View view = inflater.inflate(layout, parent, false); • Create a class that inherets DrawableGameComponent in XNA as a CLASS with custom functions

Idk. We'll see if the order of operation //works out. Wish I could call base.draw here. return Mine; //I'm hoping that this returns the same instance and not a copy. } public void draw_texture(int width, int height, RenderTarget2D Mine) { GraphicsDevice.SetRenderTarget(null); //Set the renderer to render to the backbuffer again Rectangle drawrect = new Rectangle(0, 0, width, height); //Set the rendering size to what we want spriteBatch.Begin(); //This uses spritebatch to draw the texture directly to the screen spriteBatch.Draw(Mine, drawrect, Color.White); //This uses the color white spriteBatch.End(); //ends the spritebatch //Call base.draw after this since it doesn't seem to recognize inside the function //maybe base.draw can be used with spritebatch. Idk. We'll see if the order of operation //works out. Wish I could call base.draw here. } } } I solved a previous issue where I wasn't allowed to access GraphicsDevice outside the main Default 'main' class Ie "Game" or "Game1" etc. Now I have a new issue. FYi no one told me that it would be possible to use GraphicsDevice References to cause it to not be null by using the drawable class. (hopefully after this last bug is solved it doesn't still return null) Anyways at present the problem is that I can't seem to get it to initialize as an instance in my main program. Ie Renderer tileClipping; and I'm unable to use it such as it is to be noted i haven't even gotten to testing these two steps below but before it compiled but when those functions of this class were called it complained that it can't render to a null device. Which meant that the device wasn't being initialized. I had no idea why. It took me hours to google this. I finally figured out the words I needed.. which were "do my rendering in XNA in a seperate class" now I haven't used the addcomponent function because I don't want it to only run these functions automatically and I want to be able to call the custom ones. In a nutshell what I want is: *access to rendering targets and graphics device OUTSIDE default class *passing of Rendertarget2D (which contain textures and textures should automatically be passed with a rendering target? ) *the device should be passed to this function as well OR the device should be passed to this function as a byproduct of passing the rendertarget (which is automatically associated with the render device it was given originally) *I'm assuming I'm dealing with abstracted pointers here so when I pass a class object or instance, I should be recieving the SAME object , I referenced, and not a copy that has only the lifespan of the function running. *the purpose for all these options: I want to initialize new 2d textures on the fly to customize tileclipping and even the X , y Offsets of where a WHOLE texture will be rendered, and the X and Y offsets of where tiles will be rendered ON that surface. This is why. And I'll be doing region based lighting effects per tile or even per 8X8 pixel spaces.. we'll see I'll also be doing sprite rotations on the whole texture then copying it again to a circular masked texture, and then doing a second copy for only solid tiles for masked rotated collisions on sprites. I'll be checking the masked pixels for my collision, and using raycasting possibly to check for collisions on those areas. The sprite will stay in the center, when this rotation happens. Here is a detailed diagram: http://i.stack.imgur.com/INf9K.gif I'll be using texture2D for steps 4-6 I suppose for steps 1 as well. Now ontop of that, the clipping size (IE the sqaure rendered) will be able to be shrunk or increased, on a per frame basis Therefore I can't use the same static size for my main texture2d and I can't use just the backbuffer Or we get the annoying flicker. Also I will have multiple instances of the renderer class so that I can freely pass textures around as if they are playing cards (in a sense) layering them ontop of eachother, cropping them how i want and such. and then using spritebatch to simply draw them at the locations I want. Hopefully this makes sense, and yes I will be planning on using alpha blending but only after all tiles have been drawn.. The masked collision is important and Yes I am avoiding using math on the tile rendering and instead resorting to image manipulation in video memory which is WHY I need this to work the way I'm intending it to work and not in the default way that XNA seems to handle graphics. Thanks to anyone willing to help. I hate the code form offered, because then I have to rely on static presence of an update function. What if I want to kill that update function or that object, but have it in memory, but just have it temporarily inactive? I'm making the assumption here the update function of one of these gamecomponents is automatic ? Anyways this is as detailed as I can make this post hopefully someone can help me solve the issue. Instead of tell me "derrr don't do it this wayyy" which is what a few people told me (but they don't understand the actual goal I have in mind) I'm trying to create basically a library where I can copy images freely no matter the size, i just have to specify the size in the function then as long as a reference to that object exists it should be kept alive? right? :/ anyways.. Anything else? I Don't know. I understand object oriented coding but I don't understand this XNA It's beggining to feel impossible to do anything custom in it without putting ALL my rendering code into the draw function of the main class tileClipping.new_texture(GraphicsDevice, width, height) tileClipping.Draw_texture(...)

  • jqGrid custom formatter

    - by great_llama
    For one of the columns in my jqGrid, I'm providing a custom formatter function. I'm providing some special cases, but if those conditions aren't met, I'd like to resort to using the built-in date formatter utility method. It doesn't seem that I'm getting the right combination of $.extend() to create the options that method is expecting. My colModel for this column: { name:'expires', index:'7', width:90, align:"right", resizable: false, formatter: expireFormat, formatoptions: {srcformat:"l, F d, Y g:i:s A",newformat:"n/j/Y"} }, And an example of what I'm trying to do function expireFormat(cellValue, opts, rowObject) { if (cellValue == null || cellValue == 1451520000) { // a specific date that should show as blank return ''; } else { // here is where I'd like to just call the $.fmatter.util.DateFormat var dt = new Date(cellValue * 1000); var op = $.extend({},opts.date); if(!isUndefined(opts.colModel.formatoptions)) { op = $.extend({},op,opts.colModel.formatoptions); } return $.fmatter.util.DateFormat(op.srcformat,dt,op.newformat,op); } } (An exception is being thrown in the guts of that DateFormat method, looks like where it's trying to read into a masks property of the options that get passed in) EDIT: The $.extend that put everything in the place it needed was getting it from that global property where the i18n library set it, $.jgrid.formatter.date. var op = $.extend({}, $.jgrid.formatter.date); if(!isUndefined(opts.colModel.formatoptions)) { op = $.extend({}, op, opts.colModel.formatoptions); } return $.fmatter.util.DateFormat(op.srcformat,dt.toLocaleString(),op.newformat,op);

  • [WPF] Custom TabItem in TabControl

    - by Simon
I've created CustomTabItem which inherits from TabItem and i'd like to use it while binding ObservableCollection in TabControl <TabControl ItemsSource="{Binding MyObservableCollection}"/> It should like this in XAML, but i do not know how change default type of the output item created by TabControl while binding. I've tried to create converter, but it has to do something like this inside convertin method: List<CustomTabItem> resultList = new List<CustomTabItem>(); And iterate through my input ObservableCollection, create my CustomTab based on item from collection and add it to resultList... I'd like to avoid it, bacause while creating CustomTabItem i'm creating complex View and it takes a while, so i don't want to create it always when something change in binded collection. My class extends typical TabItem and i'd like to use this class in TabControl instead of TabItem. <TabControl.ItemContainerStyle> <Style TargetType="{x:Type local:CustomTabItem}"> <Setter Property="MyProperty" Value="{Binding xxx}"/> </Style> </TabControl.ItemContainerStyle> Code above generates error that Style cannot be applied to TabItem. My main purpose is to use in XAML my own CustomTabItem and bind properties... Just like above... I've also tried to use <TabControl.ItemTemplate/> <TabControl.ContentTemaplte/> But they are just styles for TabItem, so i'll still be missing my properties wchich i added in my custom class.

  • RadGrid Custom Filter

    - by Aaron
I'm trying to add a custom filter to my RadGrid. I have a column, vendNum, which I want to allow users to filter on multiple vendNums with a comma-separated list. Basically, I want the same functionality as an "in" statement in SQL (where vendNum in (X,Y,Z)). I followed the tutorial on this site and came up with the following code to place in my RadGrid1_ItemCommand event. protected void RadGrid1_ItemCommand(object source, GridCommandEventArgs e) { if (e.CommandName == RadGrid.FilterCommandName) { Pair filterPair = (Pair)e.CommandArgument; switch (filterPair.Second.ToString()) { case "vendNum": TextBox tbPattern = (e.Item as GridFilteringItem)["vendNum"].Controls[0] as TextBox; if (tbPattern.Text.Contains(",")) { string[] values = tbPattern.Text.Split(','); if (values.Length >= 2) { e.Canceled = true; StringBuilder newFilter = new StringBuilder(); for (int i = 0; i < values.Length; i++) { if (i == values.Length - 1) newFilter.Append("[vendNum] = " + values[i]); else newFilter.Append("[vendNum] = " + values[i] + " OR "); } if (RadGrid1.MasterTableView.FilterExpression == "") RadGrid1.MasterTableView.FilterExpression = newFilter.ToString(); else RadGrid1.MasterTableView.FilterExpression = "((" + RadGrid1.MasterTableView.FilterExpression + ") AND (" + newFilter.ToString() + "))"; RadGrid1.Rebind(); } } break; default: break; } } } Doing this, though, keeps giving me an error "Expression Expected" when I try to filter with a comma separated list. I'm still able to filter a single vendNum. My FilterExpression does come out as expected. The code is failing on the RadGrid1.Rebind() statement. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Aaron

  • JqGrid Add custom button to Row

    - by oirfc
Hi there, I am trying to add a custom button to a JqGrid that implements a 'Check Out' process. Basically, every row has a 'Check Out' button that if clicked should be able to send a post back to the server and update a shopping cart and then change the button text to 'Undo Check Out'. So far I have: colNames: ['Id', ... , 'Action' ], colModel: [ { name: 'Id', sortable: false, width: 1, hidden: true}, ... { name: 'action', index: 'action', width: 75, sortable: false } ], ... gridComplete: function() { var ids = jQuery("#east-grid").jqGrid('getDataIDs'); for (var i = 0; i < ids.length; i++) { var cl = ids[i]; checkout = "<input style='height:22px;width:75px;' type='button' value='Check Out' onclick=\" ??? \" />"; jQuery("#east-grid").jqGrid('setRowData', ids[i], { action: checkout }); } }, ... Where '???' is the part I need to solve. Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Spring security custom ldap authentication provider

    - by wuntee
    I currently have my ldap authentication context set up like this: <ldap-server url="ldap://host/dn" manager-dn="cn=someuser" manager-password="somepass" /> <authentication-manager> <ldap-authentication-provider user-search-filter="(samaccountname={0})"/> </authentication-manager> Now, I need to be able to set up a custom authorities mapper (it uses a different ldap server) - so I am assuming I need to set up my ldap-server similar to (http://static.springsource.org/spring-security/site/docs/2.0.x/reference/ldap.html): <bean id="ldapAuthProvider" class="org.springframework.security.providers.ldap.LdapAuthenticationProvider"> <constructor-arg> <bean class="org.springframework.security.providers.ldap.authenticator.BindAuthenticator"> <constructor-arg ref="contextSource"/> <property name="userDnPatterns"> <list><value>uid={0},ou=people</value></list> </property> </bean> </constructor-arg> <constructor-arg> <bean class="org.springframework.security.ldap.populator.DefaultLdapAuthoritiesPopulator"> <constructor-arg ref="contextSource"/> <constructor-arg value="ou=groups"/> <property name="groupRoleAttribute" value="ou"/> </bean> </constructor-arg> </bean> But, how do I reference that 'ldapAuthProvider' to the ldap-server in the security context? I am also using spring-security 3, so '' does not exist...

  • Salesforce - Update/Upsert custom object entry

    - by Phill Pafford
    UPDATE: It's working as expected just needed to pass the correct Id, DUH!~ I have a custom object in salesforce, kind of like the comments section on a case for example. When you add a new comment it has a date/time stamp for that entry, I wanted to update the previous case comment date/time stamp when a new case comment is created. I wanted to do an UPDATE like this: $updateFields = array( 'Id'=>$comment_id, // This is the Id for each comment 'End_Date__c'=>$record_last_modified_date ); function sfUpdateLastCommentDate($sfConnection, $updateFields) { try { $sObjectCustom = new SObject(); $sObjectCustom->type = 'Case_Custom__c'; $sObjectCustom->fields = $updateFields; $createResponse = $sfConnection->update(array($sObjectCustom)); } catch(Exception $e) { $error_msg = SALESFORCE_ERROR." \n"; $error_msg .= $e->faultstring; $error_msg .= $sfConnection->getLastRequest(); $error_msg .= SALESFORCE_MESSAGE_BUFFER_NEWLINE; // Send error message mail(ERROR_TO_EMAIL, ERROR_EMAIL_SUBJECT, $error_msg, ERROR_EMAIL_HEADER_WITH_CC); exit; } } I've also tried the UPSERT but I get the error: Missing argument 2 for SforcePartnerClient::upsert() Any help would be great
