Apparently Youtube used a HTML frame to display the 'related videos' section on a normal video page.
Having looked at the page source, I don't see any mention of frames.
Am I missing something?
Case example: I have a long list of items, and when I put my mouse over this div changes to that picture of that item. No matter where you scroll to, the div remains in a fixed position.
Sort of like a frame.

I am using a forever frame (COMET streaming technique) and in IE6 whenever a user clicks on a link (to even just basic JavaScript method) the connection is immediately dropped and has to be manually refreshed.
Has anyone come across a similar issue and / or know how to address it?
I see iframe/p3p trick is the most popular one around, but I personally don't like it because javascript + hidden fields + frame really make it look like a hack job. I've also come across a master-slave approach using web service to communicate (http://www.15seconds.com/issue/971108.htm) and it seems better because it's transparent to the user and it's robust against different browsers.
Is there any better approaches, and what are the pros and cons of each?
I was tasked with implementing either a SAML authentication service, or a EWS (Entitlement Web Service Authentication) service, and I was wondering if anyone has any samples or documentation on such options. I am almost 100% sure that SAML is out of the question due to the time frame of the project.
EWS has been difficult to find online, I can't seem to find any good samples or documentation on implementing such service.

I'm willing to create a little frame to display animated ads in my app.
It could be simple little animations, or "3D" transition between ads, or combination of both.
I'm not familiar with graphic frameworks, I just used CoreGraphics, which I think is not optimized for that.
I thought of OpenGL, but maybe that's too much and takes too much ressources just for this little thing.
What do you think ?

I'm using zend frame work zend form and zend db for my project.
The problem I have is, when the user enter some special characters in the text field (i.e "I'm"), it is saved in the database with the "\" character (i.e. "I\'"). I need to know how to fix this so it just saved as whatever the user entered.

currently, I start with ctrl-x 1 and then split vertically/horizontally. but my real qustion is how can one remove a particular window split with out disturbing the other window structure.? is there any elisp function in built.?

I have a canvas element defined statically in the html with a width and height. If I attempt to use JavaScript to resize it dynamically (setting a new width and height - either on the attributes of the canvas or via the style properties) I get the following error in Firefox:

I have a navigation based template, when I run my application using Instruments, the very first memory leak comes under:
Leak Object: Malloc 128 bytes
Responsible Library: CoreGraphics
Responsible Frame: open_handle_to_dylib_path
I don't know where this leak is coming from and how remove this.
If it's a default leak, then I think I don't need to worry about it. But if it's not then I have to find a way to remove the leak.
When using the visual studio 2008 debugger with c# i can right-click on a variable and choose "Make Object ID" which allows me to watch that object (via it's ID) regardless of whether it is in the current stack frame or not.
When the debugger is in VB code, (doesnt matter if it's run from a c# unit test or a vb unit test) That option isn't there.
Where did VB put this feature? Or does it simply not support it like so many other helpful c# features?
I am looking for the reason Why Fragmentation is Done at IP level but why not for TCP/UDP.
Suppose say my frame looks like this |MAC|IP|TCP|Payload|FCS. the whole size if say for eg: 1600. PathMTU happens here, why fragmentation is implemented @ IP level is my question and why not implemented @ TCP/UDP level/code.

I have an OpenGL scene with a top left coordinate system. When I glScale it zooms in from (0,0) the top left. I want it to zoom in from the mouse's coordinate (reletive to the OGL frame). How is this done?

The above code is working fine, but the restarting process is very late bcas its stopping-starting server one and later its stopping-starting another server,
Is there a way where i can restart both servers parallely with a time frame of 45 seconds.
I know there have been several people with the same question. Which is: How do i know when a frame by frame animation has ended? I have not had any useful answer on fora i visited. So i thought, let's see if they know at stackoverflow. But I could not sit still in the mean time, so i made a work around of this, but it does not really work the way i would like it to.

basically I make a timertask which is scheduled with the same time as the animation to take. In that run() I want to load a new animation into the imageView and start that animation, this however does not work. Does anyone know how to get this to work, or even better, have a better way to find out when an AnimationDrawable has ended its animation?
