• Organizing github repository for java 6 and 7

  I am wanting to create a gihub repository that offers benchmarking code that works for concurrent features available only in JDK 1.7 (Fork/Join) as well as for older ones found in JDK 1.6. Offering both options is important for what I need. Does anyone have a recommendation how should I structure the repository. I was planning on having a repo called and under it: jdk17 build src mycode ... jdk16 build src mycode Please suggest any alternatives, possibly use of Maven or other more practical approaches, if any.

  Hello, I've a self join table when I delete or update it's id I want to delete or update all the direct and indirect affected records SQL server does not allow this type of cycle cascading I've decided to use triggers but this triggers will file recursively and they will be terminated at 34 level and I don't know the depth of records and event I disable the trigger and re enable it after completing the process how can I construct a SQL statement that achieve this logic?

• Waiting for a subset of threads in a Java ThreadPool

  Let's say I have a thread pool containing X items, and a given task employs Y of these items (where Y is much smaller than X). I want to wait for all of the threads of a given task (Y items) to finish, not the entire thread pool. If the thread pool's execute() method returned a reference to the employed thread I could simply join() to each of these Y threads, but it doesn't. Does anyone know of an elegant way to accomplish this? Thanks.

  I have some files with same name but with different dates. Basically we are finding the files with most recent dates The file patterns are <FileNames><YYYYMMDD><FileExtension> e.g. test_20100506.xls indicates <FileNames> = test_ <YYYYMMDD> = 20100506 <FileExtension> = .xls Now in the source folder, the files are standardization_20100503.xls, standardization_20100504.xls, standardization_20100305.xls, replacement_20100505.xls As can be seen that, standardization_.xls are 3 in numbers but replacement_.xls is only 1. The output will be a list of file names whose content will be standardization_20100504.xls and replacement_20100505.xls Because among all the standardization_.xls is the most recent one and replacement_.xls is also the same. I have tried with my own logic but somehow failed.   (rest_branches) is the table of restaurants. (phone_numbers) is another table which contains the restaurants phone_numbers, and it has a field called (branch_id) which references the restaurant id. What should I do to get all restaurants even if they don't have a phone number?
