  • Can I submit iPhone applications with same Icon.png but differnt bundle name

    Can some one tell me if it is possible to submit two different iphone applications which has same Icon.png but have a different bundle name? I am working on a travel guide app that is targeted for different cities. I want the users of different cities to download the app as per their cities. So I want to submit different apps for different cities(3 in my case). User can also purchase any of these cities through in-app purchase. In that case the new purchased city would be unlocked in the app. Here is my thing. I want the same icon for all the three apps. I can do away with different names for app store and bundle(home screen icon name). But I am not sure if apple would approve/reject this app. Can someone enhance this blur picture I have?

  • Writing a batch script to perform differently on different days?

    I am in the process of setting up a batch script to do a specified action if the script was run on a weekday, and an alternate action if run on the weekend. I am almost completely unfamiliar with writing batch scripts, but I know how to write my entire script except the logic I describe above.   • How to set up a different context to point to an external directory outside webapps Tomcat/Java

    Hi Folks, I am successful to map an external directory by creating an xml file like : <Context path="/uploads" docBase="C:\uploads\photos" crossContext="true"/> And I named this xml file as uploads.xml and saved under "#Tomcat\conf\Catalina\localhost" here # = Directory where Tomcat has been installed. And when I start Tomcat(5) from cammand line (batch file) i.e. startup.bat The images can be accessed normally like "http://localhost:8080/uploads/user1.png" It works. Actually I am using IntelliJ Idea 8 for devevelopment. When I start Tomcat from IntelliJ Idea, I am not able to access the context i.e. the images. "http://localhost:8080/uploads/user1.png" It shows "HTTP 400 Bad Request" The context path for my project is "http://localhost:8080/spark/" Any help or suggestion is needed at the earliest time.     Hiya, Basically I have a table which is used to hold employee work wear details. It is formed of the columns: EmployeeID, CostCentre, AssociateLevel, IssueDate, TrouserSize, TrouserLength, TopSize & ShoeSize. An employee can be assigned a pair of trousers, a top and shoes at the same time or only one or two pieces of clothing. As we all know sepeoples sizes and employee levels can change which is why I need help really. I need to be able to select the most recent clothes size and associate level for each item of clothing for each employee. So for example if employee '54664LSS' was given a pair of 'XL' trousers and a 'L' top on 24/03/11 but then received a 'M' top on 26/05/10. Then the values of the 'M' sized top and the 'L' sized trousers would need to be returned. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm pretty stuck :(. Thanks.

UIImageView* animationView = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithFrame: self.animationViewContainer.bounds]; animationView.animationImages = animationArray; animationView.animationDuration = 0.5; animationView.animationRepeatCount = 5; [animationView startAnimating]; What I'd like to do is, controlling duration between animationImages. For instance, show image1 for 0.3 sec image2 for 0.5 sec.. There must be some way to do this, but hard to find an answer.   • Web UI element to represent two different micro-views of data in the same spot?

    I've been tasked with laying out a portion of a screen for a customer care (call center) app that serves as sort of a header/summary block at the top of the screen. Here's what it looks like: The important part is in the red box. That little tooltip is the biz's vision for how to represent both the numeric SiteId and the textual Site Name all in the same piece of screen real estate. I asked, and the business thinks the Name is more important than the ID, but lists the Id by default, because the Name can't be truncated in the display, and there's only so much horizontal room to put the data. So they go with the Id, because it's fewer characters, and then they have the user mouse-over the Id to display the name (presumably because the tooltip can be of unlimited width and since it's floating over the rest of the screen, the full name will always be displayed. So, here's my question: Is there some better UI metaphor that I don't know about that could get this job done, while meeting the following constraints?: Does not require the mouse (uses a keyboard shortcut to do the "reveal") Allows the user to copy and paste the name Will not truncate the name Provides for the display of both the ID and name in the same spot Works with IE7

Application: Create Mandelbrot Image (GUI) My disptacher works perfektly this this case: private void progressBarRefresh(){ while ((con.Progress) < 99) { progressBar1.Dispatcher.Invoke(DispatcherPriority.Send, new Action(delegate { progressBar1.Value = con.Progress; } )); } } I get the Message (Title) when tring to do this with the below code: bmp = BitmapSource.Create(width, height, 96, 96, pf, null, rawImage, stride); this.Dispatcher.Invoke(DispatcherPriority.Send, new Action(delegate { img.Source = bmp; ViewBox.Child = img; //vllt am schluss } )); I will try to explain how my program works. I created a new Thread (because GUI dont response) for the calculation of the pixels and the colors. In this Thread(Mehtod) I´m using the Dispatcher to Refresh my Image in the ViewBox after the calculations are ready. When I´m dont put the calculation in a seperate Thread then I can refresh or build my Image. PS: Sry for my bad english

I only need the hours but since I have to save date. it appears like this: Date companyWorkStartHour; Date companyWorkEndHour; start hours: 12-12-2001-13:00:00 finish hours: 12-12-2001-18:00:00 I have the timezone of the company and of the user. (my server may be in another timezone). TimeZone userTimeZone; TimeZone companyTimeZone; I need to check if the user's current time (considering his timezone) is within the company working hours (considering the company's time zone). How can I do it? I am struggling for over a week with Java calendar and with no success!

  • Senior programming 'guru' who can't program - should I find a different career?

    Background: According to my resume I'm supposed to be pretty good at programming. I've worked on a ton of big projects at big companies over many years. When I go for an interview and someone looks at my resume they immediately assume I really know what I'm talking about. I generally communicate well, present myself well, know the 'jargon' and know a lot about technology at a high level, which makes matters worse because after talking to me for a while an interviewer really believes that what my resume says is probably true. The Problem: The problem arises when someone asks me to code something. I choke. As a programmer I have almost no capacity to come up with creative solutions of my own. I can't think through solutions to a programming problem the way good programmers are usually able to. I read questions on StackOverflow and the answer is obvious to me after I read other people's answers but if I am the first person to look at a question with no hints from anyone else I usually don't know where to start. At work it's the same thing. I'm fine if I'm correcting other people's code. I can identify the source of a bug quicker than anyone I work with. But if you ask me to sit down and code up a new application from scratch I will spend ten times longer than programmers who are much more junior than me. Question: Now that I am looking for work this is raising its ugly head in interview situations and making me feel desperately that I'm in the wrong career. I don't know if this problem is incompetence, laziness or some combination of these. Does anyone have any ideas about what I might be dealing with - are there books or exercises that could help me with this basic problem?

  • Using "Go To Controller" and "Go To View" in Visual Studio 2008 when controllers are in different as

    The title is basically the question. We decided to move our controller classes to a separate library and reference it in our asp.net mvc 2 application. It works just fine when running the application, meaning the controllers are being referenced while the application is running. But when doing development (in Visual Studio 2008) and I am in a View and try to use the context menu "Go To Controller" it can't find our controllers in the new assembly. Same with when I am inside a controller, I don't have the Context menu to "Add View" or "Go To View" anymore. Does anyone one know how to remedy this? I searched like crazy but haven't found any solutions or even half solutions. Thanks!

  • Matching up text in 2 different columns in a table?

    Hey guys, I have recently been working on a pastebin script (for fun) and I've come across a problem that I can't seem to solve in CSS. I have a table with 2 columns. 1 column is used to display the line numbers and the 2nd column is used to display the code. I can't seem to get the numbers match up with the lines in the code so it looks all weird (example: www.zamnproductions.com/paste.php?id=32).   • Access is denied trying to access a sMetabasePath on a SMTP Server from a different Web Server

    I have written a C# dot net application that updates the SMTP relay restriction list in IIS 6. Running the application locally works great and I can add/remove IPs/DNS from the relay restriction list without any problem. Now I need to do the same for a SMTP server that is not running on the same webserver that I have the application running. So I have the web application on webserver A and the SMTP server on webserver/smtp server B. My app pool is running under a domain user and I have given the same user rights to the SMTP server under the security tab in the SMTP Virtual Server property window. I thought I could simply change the sMetabasePath from "IIS://localhost/smtpsvc/1" to "IIS://10.171.243.134/smtpsvc/1" and everything would just work but I get an "Access is denied" error. So I must have to do something else to get this to work. I even gave the domain user full admin rights on the SMTP server to no avail. Any ideas

    i have a parent window and a child window. in javascript, i want a function in child window to be called whenever the parent window loads a new page. i'd like to use something similar to jQuery's $(document).ready() so that I don't have to worry about whether the parent is done loading yet - but ready() only appears to fire when the window loads the first page - but not when, say, a link is clicked in the parent and it loads a second page. any suggestions? thanks.

    Basically, this question with a difference... Is it possible to capture print output from a TSQL stored procedure in .NET, using the Entity Framework? The solution in the other question doesn't work for me. It works with the connection type from System.Data.SqlClient but I'm using the one from System.Data.EntityClient which does not have an InfoMessage event. (Of course, I could just create an SQL connection based on the Entity connection settings, but prefer to do it directly.)

  • How do I build two different installers from the same script in inno?

    I want to make a "standard" install for external use, but I also want to use the same script and tell it (with a command line param perhaps?) to include another set of files (PDB files for debugging) for our lab installations. How can I do this? Is it possible? I don't see how to set this in the [files] section. NOTE - this is not for having an option during the install. It is for static build time. I suppose it is just best to create a separate installer for the pdbs.

    I want to access a MovieClip in another scene than I'm currently in. More specific I want to set a TextField to a certain value from a "preloader"-scene. This is for handling totally dynamic language phrases. Maybe this is the wrong way. I'm loading a XML with language phrases that I want to replace the textfields with. We could do this by altering all MovieClips, but I think this could be a smart solution, if it's possible! :)
