• Twitter API with urllib2 in python

  I want to use the Twitter API in Python to lookup user ids from name using the lookup method. I have done similar requests simply using response = urllib2.urlopen('http://search.twitter.com...') but for this one I need authentication. I don't think I can do it through the Google python twitter API because it doesn't have the lookup method. Any ideas how can I can auth with urllib2??

• Should a user authorize each time i need an access token?

  In the facebook authentication guide, i am suppose to: Get the user to authorize my application, by redirecting them to authorize uri. Get my access token from facebook by hitting the /outh/accesstoken uri. Lets just say, that for whatever reason, this token is no longer valid. Do i need to perform step #1, or can i hit the /outh/accesstoken uri again?

I created a database link on SMP1 to connect to SMP4 as: SQL create public database link LINK_SMP4 2 connect to CURRENT_USER 3 using 'SP3DSMP4'; Database link created.   I redirect the user of my application to Twitter for oauth style authentication using my app's request_token. The user is able to enter username and password on Twitter's page BUT then, instead of calling back my application, Twitter displays a page You've successfully granted access to MyAppName! Simply return to MyAppName and enter the following PIN to complete the process. 123456 Why is this happening? I have set the callback url in my app's settings. Thanks

  I am creating a web application using Form Authentication of Asp.Net with C# and back end Sql Server. Here in my application administrator login and creates new users. I am using the create user wizard under login controls. My problem is when the new user is created by Admin he is automatically logged out and logged in with new user credentials which he has just created. Any help would be highly appreciated.
