• How to create ignore list of several items in SVN?

  Hi, I'm creating ignore list in a windows machinge using following: svn propset svn:ignore "bin" Fardis.Test directory structure is: src\ src\Fardis.Test\ src\Fardis.Test\bin\ src\Fardis.Test\obj\ I'm running that command while my currecnt dir is src. This works good but I want to add another more folder (obj) to ignore list, it fails. I tried follwings: svn propset svn:ignore "bin obj" Fardis.Test svn propset svn:ignore "bin, obj" Fardis.Test svn propset svn:ignore "bin; obj" Fardis.Test After issuing which one of them, svn status shows that none of folders bin or obj is added to ignore list. How can I solve this?

• magento login page loads with a white background

  I use magento 1.8.1 and I just moved my localhost site to a new server and imported my database using phpmyadmin and deleted the contents inside var/cache & var/session folders but when I try to access my backend the login page is loading in left top corner with a white background. However I can access to my backend and my localhost login page is still loading fine but the magento login page in my new server is not loading fine. I don't know what went wrong. Please help me out to solve this issue.Thanks in advance

Treeview shows all folders. if user clicked on treenode their files all displayed in gridview. If user checked some files and selects another node and return back it should display checked files as it is. How do i maintain grid-view checked-box column status..?   For instance, I suppose I have a directory that contains the following folders foo_bar baz What I would like to have is a bash command that will make a symlink foo-bar to foo_bar so it would look like this: foo-bar foo_bar baz I'm pretty sure I can write a Python script to do this, but I'm curious if there's a way to do this with bash. Here's where I'm stuck: ls -1 | grep _ | xargs -I {} ln -s {} `{} | sed 's/_/-/'` What I'm trying to do is run the command ln -s with the first argument being the directory name and the second argument being that name passed through sed s/_/-/. Is there another way to do this?

• The xml is not switching when device orientation change

  Hi, I have made two folders, res/layout and res/layout-land The output i got If I start the application in portrait mode, it will always use the xml in layout folder if the application run in portrait mode. And will not use xml in layout-land if i change the device to landscape mode If it start in landscape mode it only use the xml in layout-land The xml is not switching when the orientation change What i expect was It should use the xml in layout folder while it is in portrait mode and use the xml in layout-land while in landscape mode In the Manifest file i have added android:configChanges="orientation" for the activity and <supports-screens android:resizeable="true" android:largeScreens="true" android:normalScreens="true" android:anyDensity="true" /> Did i missed any thing here?   We are using TFS Continuous Development model Main Trunk - Various Development branches - Various Release branches All merging back to main trunk Now we need some major changes to our folder structure and solutions How do you handle folder restructure in above model of TFS usage? do i need to draw line and create new structure from latest Main trunk and lock all branches and do updates then creates branches with restructured new trunk.   I am trying to decide what is the best way to approach a site I built with SEO in mind. The site has a parent site (sort of a splash page) (arboroaks.net) and the 3 children sites. Parent site is one page, and each of the 3 child sites is about 8-10pages. Right now I have the 3 child sites set up as folders under arboroaks.net. For example, lakelandhills, a child site, would be arboroaks.net/lakelandhills. I have the full domain, arboroaksatlakelandhills.com redirect to this url (arboroaks.net/lakelandhills). My question is whether I should have the child sites be contained on their own domain or not. Think lakelandhillsatarboroaks.com/about-us.php verse arboroaks.net/lakelandhills/about-us.php.   How do I see the actual code for the functions implemented in R packaged. For instance I have loaded the caret package and I would like to see the code used for the function "createMultiFolds". I have gone to where the packages are stored but can't seem to find what I am looking for. For instance folders like Meta in the root folder of the caret package have files with the .rds extension which I can read into R with the gzfile command but I can't still seem to find what I am looking for i.e. the exact for the functions e.g. creatMultifolds. I would like to adapt some of these functions specifically to my research needs by make small changes to the codes to output the results in the way that I want without having to "re-invent the wheel" I will be glad if someone can help me. • Working effectively with unit tests / Anyone tried the in-assembly approach?

  I'm trying to re-introduce unit testing into my team as our current coverage is very poor. Our system is quite large 40+ projects/assemblies. We current use a project named [SystemName].Test.csproj were all the test code is dumped and organised to represent the namespaces using folders. This approach is not very scalable and makes it difficult to find tests. I've been thinking about added a Tests folder to each project, this would put the unit tests "in the developers face" and make them easy to find. The downside is the Production release code would contain references to nunit, nmocks as well as the test code and test data.... Has anyone tried this approach? How is everyone else working with unit tests on large projects? Having a Tests project per "real" project/assembly would introduce too many new projs. Thanks in advance

I installed the Library from here: klick Then in my Project, I added c:/program files/ImageMagick-6.6.6-Q16/include to the include folders.   I followed the Djangoappengine instructions. I used their django-testapp and copied the following folders in the django-testapp folder according to what I understood the instructions to say: django djangoappengine djangotoolbox I then started the dev server by running: manage.py runserver Then navigated to http://localhost:8000/ and got the "It worked!" page, which is great, but it says the following at the bottom: You're seeing this message because you have DEBUG = True in your Django settings file and you haven't configured any URLs. Get to work! I am an absolute beginner with Django and App Engine and Djangoappengine and Django-nonrel, so I am pretty lost. How do I configure URLs? Or a link to the how to will help. I took a look at the Django tutorial, but am unsure how much of it is relevant to Djangoappengine and Django-nonrel as a lot of the starting steps have to do with SQL databases. Basically some direction on how to get my app running will be great. Thanx much.

• How to copy QT folder to another folder without reinstalling it?

  I have QT installed on disc D (on Windows). And I want to move it to disc C. Is it possible to do that? If I just copy QT folder from C to D then I see lot of errors when I compile my applications that use QT. Errors are because qmake.exe contains full paths to include, bin and libs folders inside. So, when I create solution for Visual Studio 2005 using qmake - then this solution contains dependencies to old QT folder from disc D. And I found no way how to remove this dependencies without reinstalling of QT. It is not a big problem for one my single machine - I can reinstall. But I need to deliver this change then to tens and hundreds of other developers machines and I want to make it as easy as possible without need to reinstall QT.

• Need ideas for reprocessing images using attachment_fu

  Hi, I discovered a bug in my Rails app due to Rails app and gems upgrades and undocumented code from the previous developers. I have a lot of images that have been processed, but not sized correctly using attachment_fu. All of the images that were uploaded since the upgrade need to be resized correctly. Does anyone have any ideas to reprocess all of the images within the folders and resize them to the correct sizes? I'd hate to have to do these all manually. THANKS!! Cindy

  I'm trying to integrate a netTcpBinding based application that is hosted inside WAS with an IoC container (autofac/spring). Unfortunately, when it starts inside WAS and due to the fact that it is not an Http based application, no events are fired inside the Global application class. I need to catch the application domain startup so that I can configure the IoC container. Is there any way to do this when hosting in WAS? I've seen horrible things involving using static classes inside App_Code folders, but I'd like something somewhat more testable and not quite as dirty.

  New to android. Running Eclipse on Ubuntu 9.10 with Android SDK plugin installed and working. Trying to get some code samples from http://developer.android.com/resources/samples/get.html , and following its procedure to load said samples in Eclipse yields: Parent of resource: /home/user/android-sdk/platforms/android-4/samples/Notepad/.project is marked as read-only. chmod is not recursive, so I entered ~/android-sdk/platforms and "chmod 777 *" ie. all folders in /platforms. Still doesnt work. Appears to be be a bug in Eclipse that wants to create the project in the SDK folder rather than under ~/workspace.

  I need to take a 16 bit .tiff file and make it viewable on my website. To even view .tiff files many browsers require plugins. I found a software that could convert them to .jpg files but I was wondering if there is a way to do this independently. I am making my website using Ruby on Rails. I must be able to do the conversion from the website because the whole point of the website is to upload large folders of .tiff files and display them in an online slideshow. • Click-Once deployment is leaving multiple versions (yes, more than 2)

  I've got a click once application that is leaving all old versions on my disk. It's an internal corporate application that gets frequent updates, so this is a disaster for rapidly inflating our backup size. According to the docs and other SO questions, it is supposed to only leave the current and previous versions on disk. However, each time I deploy the project and upgrade a client, I get another copy of all exe/dll/data files. I'm making no changes whatsoever to the application, just pushing deploy again in Visual Studio. Any ideas? Updates: The problem seems to happen on both Windows 7 and XP. 64 bit windows and 32. I've done a diff of the folders where the version is installed and the following files are different: MyApp.exe.manifest MyApp.exe.cdf-ms MyDll1.cdf-ms MyDll2.cdf-ms No actual executable files are different, nor the MyApp.manifest, MyDll1.manifest, etc.

• Playing around with my Java project in Eclipse... what the crap did I just do?

  I don't even remember how, but somehow I managed to make all of my project's source files hidden in Eclipse's Package and Project Explorer panels. Go figure. 'Show Filtered Children (alt+click)' temporarily reveals the files, and only in Package Explorer can I double-click to reopen them from this view. They go back into hiding after I select another item, though. Plus, now I'm getting other annoyances, such as all of the folded non-hidden items altogether expanding when I click on an item, and the entire folder tree of my project now being shown in these panels (including my .svn subversion folders... which shouldn't be any of Eclipse's business, presently). Long story short, my Package/Project Explorers' just blew up on me, and I want to know how to fix this. Thanks in advance. P.S. What's a good guide I can use to learn my way around this silly contraption, anyway?

• Cannot add an icon to Resources

  Have been inputting and testing some sample code and everything seems to be ok. Just that suddenly I am running into this very frustrating problem of trying to add an icon to the project. Have downloaded an icon file (extension : icns) to my desktop and dragged it to the "Resources" group in xCode. Then a dialogue comes up from xCode where I checked the 2 options : "Copy items into destination group's folder (if needed)" and "Recursively create groups for any added folders". But when I press the "Add" button, an "Alert" message box would come up. It says "Could not copy the icon to ...". Hope that someone knowledgable in this area would give me some hints...
