• How to respond to any kind of interruption?

  My app is playing a pretty complex animation. It's like a flipbook. What I do is: I have a huge loop with selectors, and after every delayed call the next one is called. Now someone calls the user and the device suddenly shows up this fat green status bar and maybe some big pick-up-the-phone-call overlay. Or: The alarm clock rings, and a big alert sheet appears in front of just about everything. It would be great to just pause the whole animation in case of ANY interruption. Probably I've also missed like 5 more possible interruptions. How are you doing that? How do you get notified for all interruptions and then call one single -stopEverything method?

• Single page app with high number of images working extremely slow on iOS8 safari/Webview

  We are working on a WebView (not WKWebView, yet) app, are are observing that the app runs extremely slow on iOS 8. The same app runs smooth on lower versions of OS like iOS7 and iOS6. So we tried it in safari on iOS8 and the performance is similar to iOS6 and 7. The app is filled with images and many are high resolution. While trying to trace the issue (trial and error!) we reduced the sizes and resolutions of the images and the performance improved, but it is still not at par with versions 6 and 7. We are unable to find any such issues reported elsewhere and are stuck. It would be great if we could get some pointers on this one.

• Creating a custom format string in a dataGridView

  I have a dataGridView whose dataSource is a dataTable. My problem is that I want certain columns to be displayed in Hex. I can get that far with using something like this: foreach (DataGridViewColumn c in grid.Columns) { if (DISPLAYED_IN_HEX.Contains(c.Name)) { c.DefaultCellStyle.Format = "X"; } } My issue though is that I want this hex value prepended with 0x so as not to confuse anyone that they are in hexidecimal form. The values in the dataTable are various integral types. I looked into creating a custom IFormatProvider, but I don't think my coding skills are up to that par yet. Any other possible solutions?

  I've got a NSBezierPath that needs to have a semi-transparent fill. When I fill it with a solid color, I get the expected result. However, when filled with a semi-transparent color I get a path with a rounded stroke but an odd, rectangular fill. It looks like: Instead of filling the entire area, I get a filled rectangle inside the stoke with a small, unfilled boarder.   I have recently started working with microarray datasets and am trying to get my hands on R. I wish to make some plots out of my result data, but however I am stuck at the following. I have the following data (myData), cpg samp1 samp2 samp3 cpg1 0.43 0.32 0.21 cpg2 0.43 0.22 1.00 cpg3 0.11 0.99 0.78 cpg4 0.65 0.32 0.12 cpg5 0.11 0.43 0.89 And I wish to obtain a density plot for this, I did the following, plot (density(MyData$samp1), col="red") lines (density(MyData$samp2), col="green") lines (density(MyData$samp3), col="blue") But doing this does not give me correct plots, because not all sample curves fit within the plot limits. I did try looking for answers, but honestly i am still not able to work this out. Can you help me know how do i set my scale for the above? Or what additional should I do to the above code, so that all the curves are in range?? I have got many samples, so i need a something that could also automatically assign a different colour curve for each of my sample, after scaling it right. Thanks in advance..

Here is the following code : each user in users - if (user.valid == 1) tr(style="color:green;") - else tr(style="color:red;") td = user.mail td = user.lastIp td = user.token td = user.valid My problem is that the tds are created only in the else case. if the if (user.valid == 1) is true, then it creates an empty tr. • Navigation Dropdown Text Color doesn't work in FF and IE

  Hello, I was able to get the navigation dropdown to show the letters in a different color from the background (white in this case) in Chrome browser. But when I view the same page in IE or FF, the whole background is just all green. • Hidden links are still clickable on the Android browser

  I've got a contextual menu that appears when a button is clicked. This menu has some links and after some seconds is hidden again. The problem is that after the menu has disappeared the links are still there. They are not shown but are clickable and the green border appears. And after some seconds they disappear. I've tryied many ways of hiding the menu: display: none, visibility: hidden, width: 0, height: 0, jquery hide, jquery fadeout... but none worked. Also hidding the links.
