    Trying to deploy a Kohana based project in CentOS 5. Installed PHP 5.3.1 but still getting the following error.     I want to create a custom Xmonad session that loads an .xsession script in my home folder. This is the original file I copied. This one works: [Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 Name=XMonad Comment=Lightweight tiling window manager Exec=xmonad Icon=xmonad.png Type=XSession This is my modified file, xmonad-custom.desktop. When I logout, then login choosing this "xmonad-custom", the screen just flashes and sends me back to the ubuntu login screen (as if it briefly logs in and out of the session): [Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 Name=XMonad Custom Comment=Lightweight tiling window manager Exec=/home/{username}/.xsession Icon=xmonad.png Type=XSession X-Ubuntu-Gettext-Domain=gdm I also tried without the last line.     I'm looking for the smallest (in terms of filesize) transparent 1 pixel image. Currently I have a gif of 49 bytes which seems to be the most popular. But I remember many years ago having one which was less than 40 bytes. Could have been 32 bytes. Can anyone do better? Graphics format is no concern as long as modern web browsers can display it and respect the transparency.

    Ever since Google implemented their new look at the beginning of May, I have been having trouble with their search engine changing all of the spaces in my query to plus signs. This behavior occurs when I use the search box in both Firefox and Internet Explorer. For example, if I search for google search plus signs I am taken to the following URL, where google+search+plus+signs is in the search box. http://www.google.com/search?q=google+search+plus+signs&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a However if I perform the search from google.com, I get taken to a different URL with google search plus signs as I'd expect: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=google+search+plus+signs&aq=f&aqi=g1&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=d2a3ca21987adb1 Do I need to update my browsers or something?

    I am using the below piece of XSL to select the id of the text nodes whose content has a given index. This index value in input will be relative to a spcified node whose id value is known. The criteria to select the text node is, The text node content should contain a index say 'i' relative to node say 'n' whose id value i know. 'i' and 'id of n' is got as index and nodeName from the input param as seen in the xsl. Node 'd1e5' has the text content whose index ranges from 1 to 33.     What serial communication bus would you use in a automotive embedded system if your main selection criteria were: * Electrically robust * Slow speed (32 kb/s) * Easy to program * Easy to interface with microcontrollers It won't be transferring much data, but it will need to be transferred periodically at high speed (100 - 500 Hz). I find that RS-232 is just not reliable enough if you have noise in your ground line. CAN-bus seems interesting, but I have no experience with it. We are currently interested in a combination of AVR AT90CAN128 microcontrollers.

Is there a way to use keys to select a range? Do I need to create some kind of intermediate data node? Is there a different route that shows I'm barking up the wrong tree with both those suggestions? Is this even possible with XSLT or do I need to find a way to change the data source?

    Hi All, I have ear deployed in jboss 5.0.1, on windows 2008 which is 64 bit machine and we are using 64jvm, with this combination our VFS temp size increases a lot eventually all our physical hard drive space is used by replicating files. but if we change our JVm from 64 to 32 every thing looks ok. does any one one what is reason ?and possible solution as we want ot use 64bit jvm. Some initial testing is showing Direct Connect in 64bit dotConnect running 30% slower at times than our original ODP.net/OCI 32 bit solution. Trying to determine if that's normal or if something may be wrong in my testing approach. Thanks!
