  Today, i created an iframe-Tab on our Facebook Page as a landingpage. On this tab we display a video, implemented from Facebook.   Hi, I know how you can set an tag's url attribute programmatically in c#, but it seems when I try to access the image element inside of a tag I cannot access it. The is residing in the . NOTE: I am only having this issue inside the Now the ListView tag is also databound.(this is probably why I cannot access, because it isn't guaranteed that it will even exist perhaps). How can I get around this so that I can display my images programmatically or is there a better solution? • MSForms.ListBox Type Mismatch in Access

  I have an Access database where I use a Tab control (without tabs) to simulate a wizard. One of the tab pages has an MSForms.ListBox control called lstPorts, and a button named cmdAdd which adds the contents of a textbox to the List Box. I then try to keep the contents of the ListBox sorted. However, the call to the Sort method causes a type mismatch. • Removing empty space with jQuery after deleting Selectable item

  I have two ordered lists and user can move items between them. I am using jQuery UI's Selectable for both of them. Problem is that when I move item from the middle of the list it leaves an empty space behind. How can I make list shrink according to the how many items is actually in the list? • jQuery arrays - newbie needs a kick start

  I've only really started using this site and alredy I am very impressed by the community here! This is my third question in less than three days. Hopefully I'll be able to start answering questions soon instead of just asking them! I'm fairly new to jQuery and can't find a decent tutorial on Arrays. I'd like to be able to create an array that targets several ID's on my page and performs the same effect for each. For example I have tabs set up with the following: $('.tabs div.tab').hide(); $('.tabs div:first').show(); $('.tabs ul li:first a').addClass('current'); $('.tabs ul li a').click(function(){ $('.tabs ul li a').removeClass('current'); $(this).addClass('current'); var currentTab = $(this).attr('href'); $('.tabs div.tab').hide(); $(currentTab).show(); return false; }); I've used the class .tag to target the tabs as there are several sets on the same page, but I've heard jQuery works much faster when targetting ID's How would I add an array to the above code to target 4 different ID's? I've looked at var myArray = new Array('#id1', 'id2', 'id3', 'id4'); And also var myValues = [ '#id1', 'id2', 'id3', 'id4' ]; Which is correct and how do I then use the array in the code for my tabs...?

• Cannot use Java 7 instalation if Java 8 is installed

  I normally still use Java 7 for all my coding projects (it's a company "politics" issue), but I installed Java 8 for one third-party project I am contributing to. Now, it seems I cannot have Java 8 installed in Windows 7 x64, and still use Java 7 by default: C:\>"%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java.exe" -version java version "1.7.0_55" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_55-b13) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.55-b03, mixed mode) C:\>java.exe -version java version "1.8.0_05" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_05-b13) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.5-b02, mixed mode) As you can see, JAVA_HOME is completely ignored. I also have Java in the path, using "%JAVA_HOME%\bin", which resolve correctly to Java 7 when I check the path in a DOS box, but it still makes no difference. I checked in the "Java Control Panel" (not sure if this affects the default command-line Java version). Under the "Java" tab, the "View..." button, you get to see "registered" Java versions. I can add all the versions under the "User" tab, but under "System" there is only Java 8, and no way to change it. Am I missing something, or did Oracle just make it impossible to use Java 7, unless I de-install Java 8? I don't want to have to specify the "source" and "target" everywhere, and I don't even know if it is possible for me to specify it everywhere, where Java is used. EDIT: What I did is I de-installed all Java. Then installed the latest Java7 (both 86 and x64), and then the latest Java8 (both 86 and x64). After I did that, I noticed that the x64 JDK was gone. It seems Java8 killed it. So I re-installed the JDK 7 x64, after the JDK 8 x64. Still, JDK7 x64 did not seem to "replace" the "java.exe" which is copied into the "Windows" directory itself (I assume THAT is the problem).

  Im using a couple of JS functions to set a cookie named 'visible' with the value of either yes or no. Essentially Im using these values to decide if a <div> is visible or hidden. I've only just added the cookie, previously I had been using two images 1. Show 2. • Textmate, open file at Caret

  I bet this is really obvious but I can't find how to open the linked file that the Caret is currently on in Textmate. For example in the likes of Dreamweaver you can click in the index.html portion of <a href"index.html" hit cmd-D and it opens this file in a new tab. Is this possible? Would also be good to do this with <img src="image.jpg" to open the file directly into Photoshop. Solved! Solution for Patrick below. I used a modified version of Daustin777's example above to create a Command called OpenatCaret. The command is: open "$TM_PROJECT_DIRECTORY"/"$TM_SELECTED_TEXT" I then extended this by installing a macro which allowed you to select a path between double quotes but not including the quotes. I got this from the macromates board here. http://lists.macromates.com/textmate/2009-June/028965.html To wrap them both together I put my cursor in a path and recorded a new macro where I run the "Select within double quotes" macro and then the OpenatCaret command. I then named this OpenProjectFileAtCaret and bound this macro to cmd-D. Works a treat and is used all the time. Just make sure you have the correct default apps setup for each file type you are opening eg. Textmate for php, asp, html and it will open them in a new tab.

• Jquery Dialog - Is there a way to open it without registering it using .dialog?

  This is my problem. I have a page with multiple tabs. I load those tabs dynamically and one of those tabs is a message container (mail). Every time I click a folder link (Inbox, Sent Mail etc) I reload just that tab alone with appropriate content. I use Jquery dialog to pick contacts and I have to load contacts everytime. Since I reload the whole tab content every time JQuery Dialog registers (or creates) the whole div content. To avoid this I did this: if ($("#ui-dialog-title-divContacts").length == 0) { //if dialog data is not created then make dialog $("#divContacts").dialog({ bgiframe: true, resizable: false, autoOpen: false, height: 600, width: 425, modal: true, overlay: { backgroundColor: '#000', opacity: 0.5 }, buttons: { Cancel: function () { //basically do nothing $(this).dialog("close"); }, 'Done': function () { $("#divTo").empty().html($("#divSelectedContacts").html()); $(this).dialog("close"); } } }); } I went to generated viewsource in FF and found that only one instance is being created. My problem now is it is not showing the dialog. Is there a way by which I can open this dialog without registering it. Any help is much appreciated.

• Refresh page in browser without resubmitting form

  I'm an ASP.NET developer, and I usually find myself leaving the webpage that I'm working on open in my browser (Chrome is my browser of choice, but this question is relevant for any browser). My workflow typically goes like this: I write code, I rebuild my project in Visual Studio, and then I flip back to my browser with Alt-Tab and hit F5 to refresh the page. This is fine and dandy if a form hasn't been submitted since the page was opened. But if I've been clicking around on ASP.NET form controls, the page has posted form data a number of times, so hitting F5 causes the browser to (sensibly) pop up a confirmation message, e.g., "Confirm Form Resubmission: The page that you're looking for used information that you entered...". Sometimes I do want to resubmit the form, but more often than not, I just want to start over with the page (rather than resubmit form data). The way I usually get around this is to simply add some query string data to the URL so that the browser sees it as a fresh page request, e.g.: page.aspx becomes page.aspx? (or vice-versa). My question is: Is there a better way to quickly request a fresh version of a webpage (and not submit form data) in any of the major browsers? It seems like a no-brainer to me for web development, but maybe I'm missing something. What I'd love to see is something like the last item in this list: F5: refresh page Ctrl-F5: refresh page (and force cache refresh) Alt-F5: request fresh copy of the page without resubmitting the form

• IE7 & 8 not fireing jQuery click events for elements appended inside a table

  I have an IE bug that I'm not sure how to fix. Using jQuery I'm dynamically moving a menu to appear on an element on mouseover. My code (simplified) looks something like this: $j = jQuery.noConflict(); $j(document).ready(function() { //do something on the menu clicks $j('div.ico').click(function() { alert($j(this).parent().html()); }); setUpActions('#tableId', '#menuId'); }); //on mouseover set up the actions menu to appear on mouseover function setUpActions(tableSelector, menuSelector) { $j(tableSelector + ' div.test').mouseover(function() { //note that append will move the underlying //DOM element with all events from it's old //parent to the end of this one. $j(this).append($j(menuSelector).show()); }); } This menu doesn't seem to register events correctly for the menu after it's been moved in IE7, IE8 and IE8-as-IE7 (yeah MS, that's really a 'new rendering engine' in IE8, we all believe you). It works as expected in everything else. You can see the behaviour in a basic demo here. In the demo you can see two examples of the issue: The image behind the buttons should change on hover (done with a CSS :hover selector). It works on the first mouseover but then persists. The click event doesn’t fire – however with the dev tools you can manually call it and it is still subscribed. You can see (2) in IE8's dev tools: Open page in IE8 Open dev tools Select "Script" tab and "Console" sub-tab Type: $j('#testFloat div.ico:first').click() to manually call any subscribed events There will be an alert on the page This means that I'm not losing the event subscriptions, they're still there, IE's just not calling them when I click. Does anyone know why this bug occurs (other than just because of IE's venerable engine)? Is there a workaround? Could it be something that I'm doing wrong that just happens to work as expected in everything else?

• Why would the same web form control render different "onclick" logic based on the page structure?

  It was hard to title this question. :) I have a user control that is used to display a list of lookup items in my database and a delete button for each item (Editor User Control below). The delete button has an onClientClick event used to display a confirmation dialog in JavaScript. On page one, the confirmation pops up and functions correctly. The overall structure is: Master Page Page Editor User Control List of items with delete button On page two, the confirmation pops up but regardless of the answer, the page posts back anyway. The structure of this page is: Master Page Page User Control Editor User Control List of items with delete button For some reason, this makes a difference in how the delete button is rendered. • Why does my DIV clip its child DIV when jQuery moves it in IE?

  I have two divs, both with position:absolute;, one inside the other. The parent isn't in a place where it can be set as position:relative without an extra layer of complexity (there are a lot of other elements around it that I'd have to account for to put it where it needs to be, which is at the very top of the page, over everything). The child element is made to stick off the bottom of the parent. In Chrome, Safari, Firefox, it all works splendidly. In IE, it works until jQuery moves the parent element - at which point the parent element clips the child, so you can barely see the top of the child. I feel like I've read about this, about IE clipping child elements, but I can't seem to find an answer that applies to my case.   I am trying to share my own custom url, image, title and description using Facebook and twitter. I am having lot of images and videos in my website. So i want to make my content viral on social websites. I am trying to keep share options for both facebook and twitter for everything individually. If some one share one image i want that image in the sharing thumbnail and url will be the page url with my own title, description. Based on the url i will point the user to that pic in my website. I tried in the below way. • How to change image on locale base in magento?

  I want to change search image in magento. On search in magento the image name is btn_search.gif. Right now it take image from skin/frontend/default/default/images. And the file is /app/design/frontend/default/default/template/catalogsearch/form.mini.phtml where mention this tag as <input id="search-button" type="image" src="<?php echo $this->getSkinUrl('images/btn_search.gif') ?>" alt="<?php echo $this->__('Search') ?>" /> I check the code and i found that we can pass locale as _type in this as <input id="search-button" type="image" src="<?php echo $this->getSkinUrl('images/btn_search.gif', array('_type'=>'local')) ?>" alt="<?php echo $this->__('Search') ?>" /> But when i check the code this will just check in locale directory that this file exist in that locale or not. If this exist then it will take skin image. I want to use that locale image instead of that skin image. So when i click on french store i get the image which is i set in /app/design/frontend/default/default/locale/fr_FR/images/btn_search.gif I check the code for getSkinUrl in /app/code/core/Mage/Core/Model/Design/Package.php. And i found that he check locale for file but it return skin url. Is there any method which return locale url ?

• HTML email image inverts on link click Outlook 07/10/13

  I'm having an issue on a HTML email in Word rendered Outlooks (2007, 2010, 2013) where I click an image link, and when the mouse is clicked, the image inverts... Here is the code below... <td align="left" width="360" valign="top" style="mso-table-lspace: 0pt; mso-table-rspace: 0pt; border-collapse: collapse;" class="hide"> <a href="#" target="_blank"> <img src="test.jpg" width="360" height="528" alt="alt tag" style="display:block;" class="img_mob centertable" border="0" align="left"> </a> </td> Here is a comparison on the image clicked/not clicked... I have tried putting a text-decoration: none on the link. All the links are styled inline as well. This is the only image that it is having this issue on the email, so tried re-saving the image with no luck. The image is saved as a JPEG and SRGB from a Photoshop PSD. Any ideas? Thanks.

I want extract only url address (for example: http://www.gigablast.com and http://ask.com/ - there are atleast 10 urls in that html) from above using PHP Dom Document..I know up to this but dont know how to move ahead?? $doc = new DomDocument; $doc->loadHTMLFile('urllist.html'); $data = $doc->getElementById('result'); then what?? this is inside tag hence I cant use $data->getElementsByTagName() here!! any help??
