    Hi, I have an image (PNG or JPG) inside which there is at least one pixel of a certain RGB color I know in advance I want to find the pixel(s) of that color For example, I may have image.jpg inside which I know some pixel has the RGB value 255,100,200. I want a program that will give me the list of pixels (if any) of that color in the image Anyone know of a tool to help me with that ? Thanks !

    i basically want to run: C:\>xcopy [0-9]{13}\.(gif|jpg|png) s:\TargetFolder /s i know xcopy doesn't support regular-express filename searches. i can't find out how to find out if PowerShell has a Cmdlet to copy files; and if it does, how to find out if it supports regular expression filename matching. Can anyone think of a way to perform a recursive file copy/move with regex filename matching?

    I recently uninstalled GIMP on my Vista laptop, but there is still an Open with GIMP option on the context menu for most image file types, like JPEG and PNG. Clicking this option results in an error dialog. Is there any way to remove it?

  • Windows Vista file permissions does not inherit when copying to a network share

    I've got a network share with specific permissions on a subfolder (e.g. access to developers and freelancers). A designer copied PNG files from his local system to the network share. These files didn't inherit the folder permissions, but only gave access to Administrators. Is this a setting somewhere to restrict access, and can it be avoided? The local system uses Vista, the server uses Windows 2003.

    I have a 'clean' CentOS system with webmin, running Apache2 and BindDNS. When I try accessing the domain without www, I get instantly redirected to www.domain.name, as the Firebug Net console screenshot below displays http://pokit.etf.ba/upload/pokit141661fa46b11782745bb974d5140004.png What I need to know is; which are the most often reasons for this? Windows is listening on TCP port 445: TCP 0.0.0.0:445 WIN7TEST:0 ABHÖREN The corresponding incoming firewall rule isn't activated (4th column): When I choose "workplace network" the SMB incoming port 445 rule is still disabled in the advanced windows firewall configuration. I thought "public network" / "workplace network" and so on is influencing the windows firewall rules!?     Microsoft Security Essentials seems to allow only quarantine or delete actions for program that it deems to have "high" or "severe" risk. However, it also assigns these levels to what it considers to be "hacking tools". Is there a way to override this nanny behaviour and force programs on the allowed list? Thank you.     I've got lighttpd and apache working together on an app I'm building. lighty is serving out static content. However, each time a static asset is requested, I see a not found: favicon.ico message in the logs. I have added the following url rewrite: url.rewrite-once = ( "^/favicon.ico$" => "/assets/images/favicon.png" ) But to no avail; still getting the message. Any ideas?

    I have a git repository in a directory inside of /home/raynes/pubgit/. I'm trying to use gitweb to provide a web interface to it. I use nginx as my web server for everything else, so I don't really want to have to use another just for this. I'm mostly following this guide: http://michalbugno.pl/en/blog/gitweb-nginx, which is the only guide I can find via google and is really recent. fcgiwrap apparently isn't in Lucid Lynx's repositories, so I installed it manually. I spawn instances via spawn-fcgi: spawn-fcgi -f /usr/local/sbin/fcgiwrap -a 127.0.0.1 -p 9001 That's all good.   • GIMP: Slightly wrong color when saving images

    When I create a new image, fill it with a single color, and save it as *.png or *.jpeg, it gets a slightly wrong color. When I save it as *.gif, the color is correct. Does this have something to do with a color profile? How can I turn it off? (Gimp 2.6.7 on Mac) BTW, when I use "Digital Color Meter" to check the color in the GIMP window, I also get a wrong value - but that value is again a little bit different.

  • ibm t61 battery isn't charged

    I've just bought IBM T61 laptop and it has non-orginal battery. Everything was ok (laptop worked without being plugged), but something has changed, and now battery isn't charged. Power Manager says: "This system may not support batteries that are not genuine Lenovo-made or authorized. This sytem will contunue to boot, but may not charge unauthorized batteries" (screen: http://i52.tinypic.com/2ywhdns.png) I have no idea, what to do, how to solve this problem. Thank's for help.
