    I have a reader from ACS "ACR83" and a brand new card from the same place ACO3-32 as a development kit and I need to use both of them to login into my laptop locally I am not a part of domain, I am using Windows xp SP3 what should I do to enable smart card login do I need third party software to do this without domain or should it be a domain environment to be able to do such a thing this is the first time dealing with smart card, so I hope some one will help me Doing this

  • Can I get a more portable receiver for my Logitech wireless mouse?

    Hi there, I have a Logitech Trackman mouse, which I love and would like to take with me on my travels. However, the receiver for this thing is highly unportable (for use on a train, for example). I know you can get tiny wireless receivers like on this mouse. Is there any way to use a smaller third party receiver with my Logitech mouse, or does anyone know of a Logitech accessory or something like that which I could use? Thanks!

    Is it possible for Expose on Mac OS X Leopard to arrange the preview windows in a more optimal manner? After a while on superuser, opening up a new windows for each question that interests me, Expose looks like this: It is of minimal value seeing each preview is so small. I have no hope in hell seeing the contents of each windows. Is there some secret setting or 3rd party application that could fix this for me?

  • Import mBox file from Horde to Gmail

    I just transfered my domain from a third party which hosted Horde as my mail client to Google Apps. I need to import all of my mail from the mbox files I exported from Horde into Gmail now. I tried GML but it chokes on the mbox file saying that it is not well formatted. I have tried exporting multiple times from Horde and from multiple accounts. I get the same error on all of the mbox files. Any ideas?

    I bough a new hard drive and I'm attempting to copy stuff off the old hard drive to the new one. I tried it using Windows Vista and Windows 7 but no go. Then I tried installing some 3rd party updated drivers that were supposed to fix the problem now my Windows Vista disk won't boot. Has anyone had this problem before and how did you fix it?

    I'm just starting a trial of ForeFront TMG to use as a proxy server. I know I can get a real time activity monitor and filter on a per user basis, but would like to be able to get a real time activity monitor of all users that I can then sort by bandwidth consumed (enabling me to get a view on who the bandwidth hogs are). Does anyone know if this is possible in Forefront TMG or if a third party product is required? Thanks. JR

    I'm on my third power adapter for my HP Pavilion dv4-1435dx in less than one year. I'm not abusing them. I used Mac laptops for 10 years (before needing to switch to a PC) without a problem.   • Can ZenOSS integrate Ganglia smoothly?

    I like Ganglia for its Gmetric function, and I like its multi-layer capability. But Ganglia does not have healthiness check, alerting and etc. for the server monitor functionality. So it would be great to bring this two species together. Sure, we can install Ganglia, and then install ZenOSS. But is there a plugin or something that can smoothly integrate them together?   • Can't connect to windows via ssh

    I downloaded cygwin and ran ssh-host-config. I'm trying to connect using ssh -l micah myserver it then says micah@myserver's password: I enter the same password I use to log into windows and it says Permission Denied, please try again. After the third try it says: Permission denied (publickey,password,keyboard-interactive). What am I doing wrong? Any ideas? Do I need to generate an ssh key on the client and add it somewhere on the server?

    I need to upgrade OpenSSL on my CentOS server to 0.9.8k or higher, however the latest version in the official CentOS repositories is 0.9.8e, much too old. Is there a 3rd party repository I can use that has newer versions of OpenSSL libraries? If not, can someone provide a quick walkthrough of compiling a newer version of OpenSSL for CentOS? I need it to replace the built in version, so the walkthrough would have to explain how to create a CentOS-compatible RPM.

    I am trying to create a report for our CRM system but I am finding that I cannot change the page settings for it. If I export it to Excel I can tinker around with the results but I would rather that I change the actual report than have users manually change it.     First interface is ppp0 (pptp vpn) Second inteface is tun0 (openvpn) Third interface eth0 (default gw interface) Openvpn is set to change default route on client for all packets to go through tun0 vpn, that part is working ok. I would like to make all packets from tun0 go to ppp0 and get out from that interface (MASQ) but somehow they always end up on eth0 (default gw interface) /etc/shorewall/masq ppp0 tun0 doesn't seem to work
