• Ninject and Custom Controller Factory

  I'm using MEF with ASP.NET MVC as demonstrated at http://blog.maartenballiauw.be/post/2009/06/17/Revised-ASPNET-MVC-and-the-Managed-Extensibility-Framework-(MEF).aspx. When I try to use Ninject, it seems that nothing gets injected. I did some debugging, and when I reverted to the original controller factory the injection worked. What needs to be changed, or what does Ninject need in terms of controller factories for it to work?

You can ask why dont you just write inside listeners methods, i dont i'm just trying. • Custom "Very Long Int" Division Issue

  Hey everyone, So, for a very silly project in C++, we are making our own long integer class, called VLI (Very Long Int). The way it works (they backboned it, blame them for stupidity) is this: User inputs up to 50 digits, which are input as string. String is stored in pre-made Sequence class, which stores the string in an array, in reverse order. That means, when "1234" is input, it gets stored as [4|3|2|1]. So, my question is this: How can I go about doing division using only these arrays of chars? If the input answer is over 32 digits, I can't use ints to check for stuff, and they basically saying using long ints here is cheating. Any input is welcome, and I can give more clarification if need be, thanks everyone.

  I just don't understand what's happening, I haven't change anything to the site for a few months but now suddenly the rss feed doesn't work anymore. • Why doesn't my binding update whenever EditingElementStyle AND ElementStyle are set to a custom styl

  In my Visual Studio 2010 WPF application, I have the following (simplified) style: <Style x:Key="MyStyle" TargetType="{x:Type CheckBox}"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Blue" /> </Style> If I use it as the ElementStyle AND EditingElementStyle in my DataGridCheckBoxColumn: <DataGridCheckBoxColumn Binding="{Binding IsEnabled}" ElementStyle="{StaticResource MyStyle}" EditingElementStyle="{StaticResource MyStyle}" /> Then my binding, IsEnabled, does not toggle when I check/uncheck a row's checkbox. If I remove either ElementStyle, EditingElementStyle, or both, then the binding updates no problem. Why is this?! Note: sometimes clicking around will produce an update to the binding (detected via debugging) - this is not the same as clicking another row to "commit" the value, though! Thanks!

  hi, i have seen all the upload progress bar plugins , widgets, etc. they all suck. their either too bulky with too much useless code or they dont work. what i want to know is where can i read up on how to display an easy upload progress indicator. most browsers have a status progress bar on them below but it isnt very professional to use just that when dealing with clients. how does the browser do it? i want to know the internals of how the browser work with indication a status of something uploading and maybe i can make something using php & jquery. thanks

  Hi, I want to convert some of our internal API into a spring bean spring interceptor that we can use in other projects. This API needs some instantiation and other logic which I want to encapsulate in this bean so that we can just put the bean into our app context with necessary propoerties alone, and this will then apply the logic. I remember having read an article on this somewhere in the past - but cant find it now. Any pointers to something similar will be helpful EDIT: Sorry, I meant a spring interceptor, not a bean - my bad - please see my edit. I want to apply this interceptor to another bean dealing in XML messages.

  I have a new site that I am putting together and part of it has statistics for the site's users. I would like to create a widget that others can use on another website by invoking javascript that reads data from my server and shows that statistics for a given user, but I am having a hard time finding specific tutorials that covers this in django. I have seen the link at Alex Maradon's site [0], but it looks to me like that is passing html back to the widget and I am having a hard time figuring out how to do this using something like xml.   I've created a combo box control with a edittext and spinner. I'm trying to let the android:prompt attribute be passed onto the spinner, which means I need to catch it in the constructor which passes my the AttributeSet and set it on the spinner. I can't figure out how to get the value of the prompt. I'm trying, int[] ra = { android.R.attr.prompt }; TypedArray ta = context.getTheme().obtainStyledAttributes(ra); int id = ta.getResourceId(0, 0); I get back 0, which means it didn't find the attribute. I also did a ta.count() which returned 0. So I'm not getting anything back. My XML simply defines an android:prompt value. Thanks

  I have a class Bar: class Bar { public: Bar(void); ~Bar(void); }; And a class Foo that gets a reference to Bar object as a constructor parameter and needs to save it in a private member bar_ : class Foo { private: Bar& bar_; public: Foo(Bar& bar) : bar_(bar) {} ~Foo(void) {} }; This doesn't compile : overloaded member function not found in 'Parser' missing type specifier - int assumed. Note: C++ does not support default-int Now i suspect couple of things that i need to assure, the second error is for Bar& bar_; declaration in Foo. Do i need to use an explicit constructor when declaring bar_ ? I am interested in learning how the compiler works regarding this matter, so a detailed explanation would be highly appreciated. For this I read that I have to modify the web.config from Central Administration and web.config from my site with the membership and roleManager tags configured properly.   Hello Is there any way of using JSF2.0 in connection with variable lists of components? For example, lets say I have list o people that I would like to edit. They are presented on the page as list of components PersonEditor, which allow changing person data. Each editor is associated with single Person element. In order for this to work I need to perform following steps: On initial request: Get list of people For each person create PersonEditor and associate it with Person object. Fill editor's data. On user action: When user changes values and presses Save, data is processed by backing bean. I can either fill editor with data from list of people or bind it to the backing bean, but not at the same time, so I am stuck. I tried people.xhtml <ui:render value="#{bean.people}" var="person"> <example:personEditor person="#{person}"/> </ui:render> where personEditor.xhtml: a) proper association with person object, but no connection to backing bean <h:form> <h:outputText value="#{cc.attr.person.name}"/> <h:commandButton name="Save" actionListener="editorBean.save"> <f:ajax execute="@form" render="@form"/> </h:commandButton> </h:form> b) no association with person object, but there is connection to backing bean - there is no way to pass that person to the backing bean <h:form> <h:outputText value="#{editorBean.name}"/> <h:commandButton name="Save" actionListener="editorBean.save"> <f:ajax execute="@form" render="@form"/> </h:commandButton> </h:form> If I had each editor on separate page, I could pass the person id as url parameter (either using f:param or f:attribute) and initialize it accordingly. So, given the above C++ function, for example, what should I do to deal with the return type, and parameter? Essentially, I'm trying to figure out how to deal with these types in my managed wrapper? Do I need to create versions of these types/structs, in C#? Something like this: [StructLayout(LayoutKind.Sequential)] struct faacEncConfiguration { uint useTns; ulong bitRate; ... } If so then can the runtime automatically "map" these objects onto eachother? And, would I have to create these "mapped" types for all the types in these return types/parameter type hierarchies, all the way down until I get to all primitives? I know this is a broad topic, any advice on getting up-to-speed quickly on what I need to learn to make this happen would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
