• Windows 7 removes boot camp drivers on reboot

  I'm installing boot camp on 64 bit windows 7 home premium from a leopard disc. During installation I get a couple of errors saying that some driver publishers are not registered or something and I install them anyway. After reboot windows tries to repair something and reboots again. When I finally log in, there is no boot camp any more. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks btw, I'm using Macbook Pro 15 inch Santa Rosa (late 2007)

  Hi, I have a Powerpoint 2007 document with hyperlinks to other slides and external docs both on the master layout and on serveral slides. When I try to convert it to PDF, it loses all the hyperlinks. I have the following Questions: Which PDF-Converter does not kill my Hyperlinks made in the Powerpoint Layout master?   I am responsible for demonstrating changes to our software every two weeks. Since the software has both telnet and web interfaces, I think it would help the demo go more smoothly if I could embed a web browser and a telnet client or shell directly into presentation slides, like this: My current idea is to write extensions for LibreOffice to do it, but obviously I don't want to reinvent the wheel if I can help it. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this? I prefer PowerPoint 2007 or LibreOffice on Windows 7, but am open to suggestions for any software or OS.

  From time to time I want to copy and paste a portion of a web document (viewed in both IE Explorer 7 and 8) into MS Word 2007. The selected text copies and pastes fine, but I am left with only place holders for the images (png). Right clicking the image and clicking copy, then pasting into MS Word doesn't work either. If I paste the image into MS Paint and copy it from there, I can paste it into the Word document. What gives?

  I have a pretty big (~30GB) email archive (Outlook + Exchange: .ost file) and I would like to use the Outlook Search Feature (Windows Search technology). I would like to exclude some folders from the indexing (at least the "spam" folder!) but it seems there is no option for that in the standard configurations.   When I run the installer for both taglocity 2 and 3, during the installation I get the following error: Error 1001: Exception occurred while initializing the installation: System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorException: Configuration system failed to initalize. When I try to continue with the installation by clicking OK, a dialog appears with the title ADX Loader with the message: The system cannot find the file specified.   It's really annoying that Excel (2003 and 2007) doesn't show what cell, row or column that is selected when the window is not in focus. I typically want to refer to the current cell or row while working in another application. Is there any workaround or fix that will make the cell/row highlighted when not in focus? I know that you can copy a cell (Ctrl+C) but it's kind of tiresome to do that every time.

  I do a lot of PowerPoint (2007) presentations, and some of those involve some rather complex diagrams that I like to build step by step, using PowerPoint's animation feature. I prefer using the "fade in" style, but I find the default medium speed setting too low, so every time I'm adding an element to my animation, I have to go to the Speed dropdown box and select "Very fast". This is getting annoying, so I wonder if there is a way to tell PowerPoint that I'd like my standard animation speed (at least for fade-ins) to be "very fast"?

  We're using Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007 with NON-EXHCANGE mailboxes, stored in PST files. Is there a way to quickly add a large number of senders from the inbox to the users contact list? I was thinking to export all the senders from the inbox in the PST file to a list and then so use scripting to add them all to the contact list, or perhaps arrange in CSV and import.
