  • Sproutcore SC.arrayProxy, where is in the docs?

    I'm reading the getting started guide of sproutcore, about the Todo app. Around the beginning they tell to instantiate a controller from the SC.arrayProxy class. But this class is not present in the docs!!! and even in google is nowhere to be found! where does it come out from?? EDIT: I discovered that SC.arrayProxy is only in sproutcore 2! I wonder what are the differences from SC.arrayController

    I am coding a simple space empire management game in Visual C# 2008, which relies on connecting to a remote SQL server database to get/store data. I would like the user to be able to connect to a user-specified SQL server from the login screen(he specifies IP address, port, database name, ID, password and presses "connect" button). However, I found out that the Dataset connection string property is read only and cannot be changed. Is there any way to guide the wizard-generated DataSet to a user-specified server at run time?

    What is a quick, elegant way of using MatLab to form a subarray around a particular element? Element are selected randomly from the data, so you can't take a subarray in the normal way (it has to be generalized for the elements that are selected). What I mean is, forming an array for example 5x5 or 7x7 or something, where the middle element is the one you want.

    Hi all, I am having trouble installing Enclosure and getting it to work. I have followed this guide http://www.enclojure.org/gettingstarted and successfully installed Enclosure (I think). However, when I try to build the sample application (labrepl) I get a bunch of errors and a failed build. I haven't used Java in a long time and I've never used Netbeans, and the error doesn't seem very helpful with my limited knowledge of this domain. I'm using the latest Netbeans and the Enclosure URL from the guide. Since I am on Windows, I can't use git to clone the repo, so I'm not sure what to do from here.   • Missing Coordinates. Basic Trigonometry Help.

    please refer to my quick diagram attached below. what i'm trying to do is get the coordinates of the yellow dots by using the angle from the red dots' known coordinates. assuming each yellow dot is about 20 pixels away from the x:50/y:250 red dot at a right angle (i think that's what it's called) how do i get their coordinates? i believe this is very basic trigonometry and i should use Math.tan(), but they didn't teach us much math in art school.

    I would like to validate an embedded form field before it gets saved in the database. Currently it will save an empty value into the database if the form field is empty. I'm allowing empty fields, but I want nothing inserted if the form field is empty. Also quick question, how to alter field values before validating/saving an embedded form field? $this-form-getObject works in the action, but $this-embeddedForm-getObject says object not found

    I am a couchDB newbie and am doing the examples in the O'Reilly CouchDB guide. I have a problem using a view to retrieve a document by key: curl http://127.0.0.1:5984/basic/_design/example/_view/by_date?key="2009/01/15 15:52:20" gives the reply: curl: (52) Empty reply from server but just retrieving all rows: curl http://127.0.0.1:5984/basic/_design/example/_view/by_date gives me 3 rows including the specific row I am looking for: {"id":"hello-world","key":"2009/01/15 15:52:20","value":"Hello World"} why doesn't the key query work? I am using CouchDB version 0.10.0 on Ubuntu 9.10

My questions are: 1) Where I can find a tutorial, development guide, and/or code samples for doing this with PHP. 2) Is it possible to obtain a test account to do the integration like Paypal's sandbox, or does one need to have a live account to which you can pass an additional parameter to indicate the transaction is a test one? Quick question - I am using this wonderful package: http://ooweb.sourceforge.net/index.html Unfortunately, the JAR is only available through Sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ooweb/files/ooweb/0.8.0/ooweb-0.8.0-bin.tar.gz/download Is there a way to get Ivy to download a specific JAR?     Hello all, Since a few months I've been learning Erlang, and now it was time to do some basic GUI. After some quick research I saw there was an interesting library called 'wxi' (based on Fudgets of Haskell) which uses a different approach on GUI's. No central loop, every widget processes it's own events and handles it's own data. What do you guys think about this? It looks like it kind of can be efficient in languages such as Erlang, and it's an interesting approach. William van Doorn
