  • Newbie jQuery question: Need slideshow to rotate automatically, not just when clicking navigation.

    Hi everyone, This is my first post, so please forgive me if this question has been asked a million times. I'm a self professed jQuery hack and I need a little guidance on taking this script I found and adapting it to my needs. Anyway, what I'm making is an image slide show with navigation. The script I found does this, but does not automatically cycle through the images. I'm using jQuery 1.3.2 and would rather stick with that than using the newer library. I would also prefer to edit what is already here rather than start from scratch.     I have a button containing 2 child buttons. I want to be able to keep the mouse over state active, when I rollover a child button. At present it fires mouse out when i rollover a child button, I suspect this is correct, but not what I want to happen. Any ideas how to get around this?

    Dear ladies and sirs. I am wondering if it is possible to control the Visual Studio exception handling options from the code itself. For instance, I would like to turn off stopping on FCE for a certain piece of code, that generates many FCE, however, I would like it to be active for all the other code.     I need to pre-generate my active record files, rather than have subsonic build them dynamically. I used to be able to do this using SubSonicCentral in SubSonic 2.x. How do I do this in SubSonic 3? I don't see a generator executable when I download the 3.0.0.4 zip file.

  • how to scan a LAN for live hosts using PHP and SNMP?

    I would like to have a quick script listing all active hosts in a LAN, and I am a bit lost. From other posts I figured that this can be done most effectively by polling the DHCP server (in my case a Lancom router) using SNMP. However, I am not familiar with the SNMP commands in PHP. Is snmpwalk() the correct function? Can I get snmpwalk() or any other php function to return an array that contains a list of all live hosts?

  • How to extract the current state of the registry? (in C/C++, XP)

    I was wondering how one might extract the current state of the registry, of Windows XP, in C or C++? (While the OS is active). I been trying to use BackupRead() on the registry-files, but it is impossible to CreateFile() them. I managed to create a Shadow Copy of the registry-files, but it wasn't the current state of the registry. Would appreciate any hint... (I know ERUNT is able to do it) Thanks, Doori Bar
