    I have two servers, server1 and server2 on same network but require username and password to be mapped. server1 has a text file as C:\Users\output.txt. I want to create and schedule a batch script on server1, which should copy and replace output.txt file from server1 to server2 at path E:\data\output.txt on daily basis. I don't want to map server2 manually every time I start my computer nor do I want to enter my username and password each time.     I have two classes, both of which need to be able to call the same instance of entitymanager class Engine { EntityManager::Entitymanager EManager; } And I need to add an object to a vector contained by this particular instance of Engine. What I want to do is be able to add a bullet spawned by the player to the vector that contains all my entities. class Player : Entity { void SpawnBullet() {Engine::EManager.Add(BULLET);} } The above returns this error: error: object missing in reference to ‘Engine::EManager’ How do I resolve this? So, songs | song_genre | genres id | song_id, source, genre_id | id What I want to build is a song SELECT query that works something like this, given I already have a genre_id: IF exists song_genre with source='artist' AND a song_genre with source='blog' OR exists song_genre with source='artist' AND a song_genre with source='post' OR exists song_genre with source='tag' I'm was going to do it by doing a bunch of joins, but am sure I'm not doing it very well.     I have 2 lists old_name_list = [a-1234, a-1235, a-1236] new_name_list = [(a-1235, a-5321), (a-1236, a-6321), (a-1234, a-4321), ... ] I want to search recursively if the elements in old_name_list exist in new_name_list and returns the associated value with it, for eg. the first element in old_name_list returns a-4321, second element returns a-5321, and so on until old_name_list finishes. I have tried the following and it doesn't work for old_name, new_name in zip(old_name_list, new_name_list): if old_name in new_name[0]: print new_name[1] Is the method I am doing wrong or I have to make some minor changes to it?     Hi, I have a list, with an li style defined. I want to replace the style of an individual element, but it doesn't seem to have any visual effect. Example: .myList li { background-color: yellow; } .foo { background-color: green; } <ul class='myList'> <li>Hello</li> </ul> When I add an item to the list, it has the .myList li style applied properly. I try now to remove all styles and apply the foo style to a single item (using jquery): $(item).removeClass(); $(item).addClass("foo"); the item does not change color to green though, but this reports the class is set to 'foo': alert($(item).attr('class')); so I guess I'm not understanding css rules here, looks like the li class definition is just overriding whatever else I do, however I want the reverse to be true, I want to override the li style definition with foo.     I asked about this array a little while ago, and I can't see what the problem is. Too tired. What have I done wrong? Basically, I am taking a string array and trying to check to see if it contains numbers or an x (ISBN number validation). I want to take the number from a given input (bookNum), check the input, and feed any valid input into a new array (book). At the line 'bookNum.charAt[j]==book[i]' I get the 'not a statement error'. Since I may have 100 divs, I don't want to create a click handler for each (they'll all practically do the same thing). Each plugin is written as a module (script?) and spawned in a separate process. Because of the base commonality between the plugins (e.g. all extend a base class 'Worker'), The plugin module generally looks like this: import commonfuncs def do_work(data): # do customised work for the plugin print 'child1 does work with %s' % data In C/C++, we have include guards, which prevent a header from being included more than once. Do I need something like that in Python, and if yes, how may I make sure that commonfuncs is not 'included' more than once?

  • Replacing one image with another image through ajax makes it dissappear for a split second

    I have the following code (asp.net-mvc, jquery) (i have simplified the example to show the issue) where i want to click on an image and have it replaced with another image. This works fine but the first time i click it, the original image disappears (for a split second) before the other image shows up. After that it works seamlessly. Is there any way to eliminate this quirk so there is not split second where no image is shown?     For instance, I needed to remove column 25 and replace it with a copy of column 22 in a simple csv file with no embedded delimiters. The best I could come up with was the awkward looking: awk -F, '{ for(x=1;x<25;x++){printf("%s,", $x)};printf("%s,",$22);for(x=26;x<59;x++){printf ("%s,", $x)};print $59}' I would expect something like cut -d, -f1-24,23,26-59 to work but cut doesn't seem to want to print the same column two times... Is there a more elegant way to do it using anything typicaly available in a linux shell environment?

I know they can be refactored but I'm struggling to determine what type the parameter should be for the linq statement in the return of the method (the last line of each method). Application object has a property called Description Both collections have a unique field called Key i want to see if there is a LINQ solution to: Loop through all applications in myApps and look at the key and see if that existing in yourApps. If it does, i want to take the description property from that application in yourApps and set the description property on the application on myApps to that same value i wanted to see if there was any slick way using lambda expressions (instead of having to have loops and a number of if statements.)
