    I'm using NPOI to output excel from Asp.Net. Its not working properly for all cells and from that particular cell the bold and normal property stops working on whole sheet like sheet2 and sheet3.

  • Android: Make application background behave like homescreen background

    Hi, I have a big background image for my views's background, which also can be tiled (it's repeadable). When switching from one Activity to another i want the background to behave like on the homescreen (the background moves only a bit, but the foreground moves one screen with). Is this possible and how?   • NSDictionary with key => String and Value => c-Style array

    I need an NSDictionary which has key in the form of string (@"key1", @"key2") and value in the form of a C-style two-dimentional array (valueArray1,valueArray2) where valueArray1 is defined as : int valueArray1[8][3] = { {25,10,65},{50,30,75},{60,45,80},{75,60,10}, {10,70,80},{90,30,80},{20,15,90},{20,20,15} }; And same for valueArray2. My aim is given an NSString i need to fetch the corresponding two-dimentional array. I guess using an NSArray, instead of c-style array, will work but then i cannot initialize the arrays as done above (i have many such arrays). If, however, that is doable please let me know how.     Sun's "Code Conventions for the Java Programming Language" was last updated April 1999. Ten years later a lot has changed in the language, as well as general usage patterns. Are there more up to date, widely adopted standards? Most guidelines omit specifying file encoding and line endings. Sun recommends mixed tabs and spaces. The Eclipse IDE defaults to Eclipse's standard, which is tabs only. The Maven style guide is spaces only. Many style guides, such as JBoss, follow Sun's guidelines, but prefer K&R braces instead of OTBS. Each Apache project has it's own style guide, with slight differences between each one.

  • Google analytics-style custom report builder UI

    I'm looking for a reporting engine/UI that can be integrated into a product, which has a UI along the lines of Google Analytics' Custom Reports builder. Is anyone aware of such a thing? The data is in our case is not page views/visitors/etc, but is similar in nature, in that there are limited entities or types of data, but each entity has many attributes/columns and many different ways of aggregating data (or in GA-style speak, metrics and dimensions). The analytics-style UI is very intuitive and allows many reports to be created in powerful ways, without having to know SQL. I have preference for a web-based tool (seeing that it is 2010 and this is a web app -- I mention only because it seems the vast majority of reporting tools still have only a non-web-based creation tool).

    I've made a time slider in Silverlight. To style it, I've made a control template and modified the style. I've added a text field above the thumb (always centered above the thumb), which should display the time. However, I can't find any way to access the slider information (e.g. current value) or find another way to pass any information to the style, which I can then data bind to the text field. So my question in short: how can I display time information above the thumb?

    In the iPod app, the navigation views have the default status bar style, and the Now Playing view is in the black style. The transition between them is animated with a crossfade. I want to do that.   • TToolButton Height Grows with Style = tbsDropdown

    I noticed that the height of a TToolButton increases when you set the button's Style to tbsDropdown. I can understand the width increasing, so the button has space to draw the down arrow, but I'm not sure a height increase is necessary. Steps to reproduce the issue (Delphi 2010, Windows 7 x64): Add TToolbar to a form, ShowCaptions=True Right click to add a button to the Toolbar Set button Style=tbsDropDown and notice the button grows in height The same height increase happens when there are images assigned to the toolbar, in which case there is already plenty more vertical space available in the button to draw the drop down. Here's a visual example: Is there a workaround for this without hacking the VCL, or is this hardcoded into the Windows control?

  • Why doesn't my binding update whenever EditingElementStyle AND ElementStyle are set to a custom styl

    In my Visual Studio 2010 WPF application, I have the following (simplified) style: <Style x:Key="MyStyle" TargetType="{x:Type CheckBox}"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Blue" /> </Style> If I use it as the ElementStyle AND EditingElementStyle in my DataGridCheckBoxColumn: <DataGridCheckBoxColumn Binding="{Binding IsEnabled}" ElementStyle="{StaticResource MyStyle}" EditingElementStyle="{StaticResource MyStyle}" /> Then my binding, IsEnabled, does not toggle when I check/uncheck a row's checkbox. If I remove either ElementStyle, EditingElementStyle, or both, then the binding updates no problem. Why is this?! Note: sometimes clicking around will produce an update to the binding (detected via debugging) - this is not the same as clicking another row to "commit" the value, though! Thanks!

Any suggestions on how to modify the style are still welcome!

  • How do you programmatically set a Style on a View?

    I would like to do something like this: <Button android:id="@+id/button" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_cotent" style="@style/SubmitButtonType" /> But in code The xml approach works fine provided that SubmitButtonType is defined. Now what I assume happens is that the appt parser runs through this xml, generates an AttributeSet. That AttributeSet when passed to context/theme#obtainStyledAttributes() will have the style ref mask anything that is not written inline in this tag. Great that's fine! Now how do we do this programmatically. Button, as well as other View types, has a constructor that has the form: <Widget>(Context context, AttributeSet set, int defStyle). So I thought this would work. Button button = new Button(context, null, R.style.SubmitButtonType); However, I am finding that defStyle is badly documented as it really should be written to be a resourceId to an attribute (from R.attrs) that will be passed to obtainStyledAttributes() as the attribute resource, and not the style resource. After looking at the code, all the view implementations seem to pass 0 as the styleRef. I don't see the harm in having it passed as both the attr and the style resource (more flexible and negligible overhead) However I might be approaching this all wrong. How do you do this in code then other than by setting each individual element of the style to the specific widget you want to style (only possible by looking a the code to see what param maps to which method or set of methods). The only way I have found to do this is: <declare-styleable> <attr name="totallyAdhoc_attribute_just_for_this_case" format="reference"> </declare-styleable> <style name="MyAlreadyExistantTheme" > ... ... <item name="totallyAdhoc_attribute_just_for_this_case">@style/SubmitButtonType</item> </style> And instead of passing R.style.SubmitButtonType as defStyle, I pass the new R.attr.totallyAdhoc_attribute_just_for_this_case. Button button = new Button(context, null, R.attr.totallyAdhoc_attribute_just_for_this_case); This works but sounds way too complicated.

    Many email clients don't like linked CSS stylesheets, or even the embedded <style> tag, but rather want the CSS to appear inline as style attributes on all your markup. BAD: <link rel=stylesheet type="text/css" href="/style.css"> BAD: <style type="text/css">...</style> WORKS: <h1 style="margin: 0">...</h1> However this inline style attribute approach is a right pain to manage. I've found tools for Ruby and PHP that will take a CSS file and some separate markup as input and return you the merged result - a single file of markup with all the CSS converted to style attributes. I'm looking for a Perl solution to this problem, but I've not found one on CPAN or by searching Google. Any pointers?   • how to make a tableview to be grouped style without indenting cells

    Hi, I want a tableview without floating headers and footers, but in the UITableViewStylePlain style. When I used a grouped style tableview, it draws this rounded rectangle around my cells, and it is annoying!! Is there a setting to turn this off? I have tried tableView.backgroundView = nil; tableView.separatorStyle = UITableViewCellSeparatorStyleNone; tableView.autoresizingMask = UIViewAutoresizingNone; All don't work. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? Thanks
