  • Error Installing COM+ (Error Code: 80131501)

    - by Regina Foo
    I've written a class library that reads from an xml file and return the result as a string. But when I want to install it as a COM+ component, an error occurred (Error Code: 80131501). I checked the event log and the details of the error is: Installation of 'C:\Users\User\Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\InteropSOA\InteropSOA\bin\Debug\InteropSOA.dll' into '{28E82165-AD74-4E16-90C9-0C5CE7DA97AA}' failed with an exception: System.EnterpriseServices.RegistrationException: FATAL: Could not find component 'InteropSOA.ConfigReader' we just installed. at System.EnterpriseServices.RegistrationDriver.InstallAssembly(RegistrationConfig regConfig, Object obSync) at System.EnterpriseServices.RegistrationHelper.InstallAssemblyFromConfig(RegistrationConfig& regConfig) at System.EnterpriseServices.RegistrationHelper.InstallAssembly(String assembly, String& application, String partition, String& tlb, InstallationFlags installFlags) at System.EnterpriseServices.Internal.ComManagedImportUtil.InstallAssembly(String asmpath, String parname, String appname) Below are the steps I've done while developing the class library: Added "System.EnterpriseServices" to Reference. Imported the reference to the class. Declared the class as "ServicedComponent". Set project properties ("Make assembly COM-visible" checked, "Register for COM Interop" checked, Signed the assembly with a strong key file name.) Here are my codes: using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Text; using System.Xml; using System.Xml.XPath; using System.EnterpriseServices; namespace InteropSOA { public class ConfigReader : ServicedComponent { // xml file name private string strFileName; // type of request private string strRequest = ""; // response string private string strResponse = ""; // declarations for xPath private XPathDocument doc; private XPathNavigator nav; private XPathExpression expr; private XPathNodeIterator iterator; private XmlTextReader reader; private XmlDocument xmlDoc; public ConfigReader(string strFile, string request) { this.strFileName = strFile; this.strRequest = request; } public ConfigReader() { //default contructor } // reader for console program public void ReadXML() { doc = new XPathDocument(strFileName); nav = doc.CreateNavigator(); // compile xPath expression expr = nav.Compile("/Msg/" + strRequest + "/*"); iterator = nav.Select(expr); // interate on the node set try { while (iterator.MoveNext()) { XPathNavigator nav2 = iterator.Current.Clone(); strResponse += nav2.Value + "|"; } } catch (Exception ex) { Console.WriteLine(ex.Message); } strResponse = strResponse.Substring(0, strResponse.Length-1); Console.WriteLine("Response string = " + strResponse); } public void WriteXML(string strRequest, string strElement, string strValue) { reader = new XmlTextReader(strFileName); xmlDoc = new XmlDocument(); xmlDoc.Load(reader); reader.Close(); XmlNode node; XmlElement root = xmlDoc.DocumentElement; node = root.SelectSingleNode("/Msg/" + strRequest + "/" + strElement); node.InnerText = strValue; xmlDoc.Save(strFileName); } // reader for ASP.NET public string ReadXMLElement() { doc = new XPathDocument(strFileName); nav = doc.CreateNavigator(); // compile xPath expression expr = nav.Compile("/Msg/" + strRequest + "/*"); iterator = nav.Select(expr); // interate on the node set try { while (iterator.MoveNext()) { XPathNavigator nav2 = iterator.Current.Clone(); strResponse += nav2.Value + "|"; } } catch (Exception ex) { Console.WriteLine(ex.Message); } strResponse = strResponse.Substring(0, strResponse.Length - 1); return strResponse; } } }

  • Help with infrequent segmentation fault in accessing boost::unordered_multimap or struct

    - by Sarah
    I'm having trouble debugging a segmentation fault. I'd appreciate tips on how to go about narrowing in on the problem. The error appears when an iterator tries to access an element of a struct Infection, defined as: struct Infection { public: explicit Infection( double it, double rt ) : infT( it ), recT( rt ) {} double infT; // infection start time double recT; // scheduled recovery time }; These structs are kept in a special structure, InfectionMap: typedef boost::unordered_multimap< int, Infection > InfectionMap; Every member of class Host has an InfectionMap carriage. Recovery times and associated host identifiers are kept in a priority queue. When a scheduled recovery event arises in the simulation for a particular strain s in a particular host, the program searches through carriage of that host to find the Infection whose recT matches the recovery time (double recoverTime). (For reasons that aren't worth going into, it's not as expedient for me to use recT as the key to InfectionMap; the strain s is more useful, and coinfections with the same strain are possible.) assert( carriage.size() > 0 ); pair<InfectionMap::iterator,InfectionMap::iterator> ret = carriage.equal_range( s ); InfectionMap::iterator it; for ( it = ret.first; it != ret.second; it++ ) { if ( ((*it).second).recT == recoverTime ) { // produces seg fault carriage.erase( it ); } } I get a "Program received signal EXC_BAD_ACCESS, Could not access memory. Reason: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at address..." on the line specified above. The recoverTime is fine, and the assert(...) in the code is not tripped. As I said, this seg fault appears 'randomly' after thousands of successful recovery events. How would you go about figuring out what's going on? I'd love ideas about what could be wrong and how I can further investigate the problem. Update I added a new assert and a check just inside the for loop: assert( carriage.size() > 0 ); assert( carriage.count( s ) > 0 ); pair<InfectionMap::iterator,InfectionMap::iterator> ret = carriage.equal_range( s ); InfectionMap::iterator it; cout << "carriage.count(" << s << ")=" << carriage.count(s) << endl; for ( it = ret.first; it != ret.second; it++ ) { cout << "(*it).first=" << (*it).first << endl; // error here if ( ((*it).second).recT == recoverTime ) { carriage.erase( it ); } } The EXC_BAD_ACCESS error now appears at the (*it).first call, again after many thousands of successful recoveries. Can anyone give me tips on how to figure out how this problem arises? I'm trying to use gdb. Frame 0 from the backtrace reads "#0 0x0000000100001d50 in Host::recover (this=0x100530d80, s=0, recoverTime=635.91148029170529) at Host.cpp:317" I'm not sure what useful information I can extract here. Update 2 I added a break; after the carriage.erase(it). This works, but I have no idea why (e.g., why it would remove the seg fault at (*it).first.

  • Iterating Collection In Two Threads

    - by ChloeRadshaw
    This question relates both to C# and Java If you have a collection which is not modified and that collection reference is shared between two threads what happens when you iterate on each thread?? ThreadA: Collection.iterator ThreadA: Collection.moveNext ThreadB: Collection.iterator ThreadB: Collection.moveNext Will threadB see the first element? Is the iterator always reset when it is requested? What happens if this is interleaved so movenext and item is interleaved? Is there a danger that you dont process all elements??

  • richfaces suggestionBox passing additional values to backing bean

    - by Martlark
    When using the rich faces suggestionBox how can you pass more than one id or value from the page with the text input to the suggestionBox backing bean. ie: to show a list of suggested cities within a selected state? Here is my autoComplete method. public List< Suburb > autocomplete(Object suggest) { String pref = (String) suggest; ArrayList< Suburb > result = new ArrayList< Suburb >(); Iterator< Suburb > iterator = getSuburbs().iterator(); while( iterator.hasNext() ) { Suburb elem = ((Suburb) iterator.next()); if( (elem.getName() != null && elem.getName().toLowerCase().indexOf( pref.toLowerCase() ) == 0) || "".equals( pref ) ) { result.add( elem ); } } return result; } As you can see there is one value passed from the page, Object suggest, which is the text of the h:inputText (in the faceLets m:textFormRow ) <m:textFormRow id="suburb" label="#{msgs.suburbPrompt}" property="#{bean[dto].addressDTO.suburb}" required="true" maxlength="100" size="30" /> <rich:suggestionbox height="200" width="200" usingSuggestObjects="true" suggestionAction="#{suburbsMBean.autocomplete}" var="suburb" for="suburb" fetchValue="#{suburb.name}" id="suggestion"> <h:column> <h:outputText value="#{suburb.name}" /> </h:column> </rich:suggestionbox> Earlier in the page you can select a state which I'd like to use to pare down the list of suburbs that the suggestion box displays.

  • How do i translate this to "simpler" JavaScript?

    - by Julian Weimer
    Since i'm working with Titanium i realzed that its current JavaScript Interpreter doesn't accept specific coding-styles. So for for-loops and if-statements i have to have braces, even though i only want to span one line. Furthermore there is more i have to change if i want to use a Javascript Library like underscore.js. This is what Titanium doesn't want to see: if (!(result = result && iterator.call(context, value, index, list))) {_.breakLoop();} if (nativeSome && obj.some === nativeSome) {return obj.some(iterator, context);} var computed = iterator ? iterator.call(context, value, index, list) : value; computed >= result.computed && (result = {value : value, computed : computed}); Can i use a simpler syntax to describe the logic behind those lines of code?

Is it because it calls the member function begin()?

  • How is the syntax for stl iterators implemented?

    - by Liberalkid
    I've been working on writing a library in my spare time to familiarize myself more with c++ and singular value decomposition. I've been working on writing an Iterator class and I'm entirely capable of writing the functionality and I have already for my own currently MatrixIterator class. I'm guessing that it involves namespaces because: vector<int>::iterator Would appear to be an iterator from the namespace vector, but namespaces are another topic which I'm not familiar with. Mainly I'm asking what would it involve to implement an iterator such that it could be referenced in a similar way to the stl iterators. I'm also aware that I could use boost.iterators or something similar to save myself a lot of work, but I'm more interested in learning all of the details that go into something like this.

  • Usage of setInfoClass() on DirectoryIterator vs on RecursiveDirectoryIterator

    - by Gordon
    I've ran into an inconsistent behavior when using setInfoClass to set a custom SplFileInfo class to a DirectoryIterator versus setting it to a RecursiveIterator. The method description states: Use this method to set a custom class which will be used when getFileInfo and getPathInfo are called. The class name passed to this method must be derived from SplFileInfo. Consider this custom SplFileInfo class A extends SplFileInfo { public function test() { printf("I am of class %s\n", __CLASS__); } } and my iterators $iterator = new DirectoryIterator('.'); and $iterator = new RecursiveDirectoryIterator('.'); Now I'd expect those two to behave the same when I do $iterator->setInfoClass('A'); foreach($iterator as $file) { $file->test(); } and output 'I am of A' for each $file encountered and in fact, the RecursiveDirectoryIterator will do that. But the DirectoryIterator will raise Fatal error: Call to undefined method DirectoryIterator::test() so apparently the InfoClass does not get applied when iterating over the files. At least not directly, because when I change the code in the foreach loop to $file->getPathInfo()->test(); it will work for the DirectoryIterator. But then the RecursiveDirectoryIterator will raise Fatal error: Call to undefined method SplFileInfo::test() Like I said, I'd expect those two to behave the same, but apparently getFileInfo and getPathInfo don't get called in the DirectoryIterator, which I consider a bug. So if there is any Iterator experts out there, please help me understand this. Thanks.

  • C++ Iterators and inheritance

    - by jomnis
    Have a quick question about what would be the best way to implement iterators in the following: Say I have a templated base class 'List' and two subclasses "ListImpl1" and "ListImpl2". The basic requirement of the base class is to be iterable i.e. I can do: for(List<T>::iterator it = list->begin(); it != list->end(); it++){ ... } I also want to allow iterator addition e.g.: for(List<T>::iterator it = list->begin()+5; it != list->end(); it++){ ... } So the problem is that the implementation of the iterator for ListImpl1 will be different to that for ListImpl2. I got around this by using a wrapper ListIterator containing a pointer to a ListIteratorImpl with subclasses ListIteratorImpl2 and ListIteratorImpl2, but it's all getting pretty messy, especially when you need to implement operator+ in the ListIterator. Any thoughts on a better design to get around these issues?

When I execute it I am getting the answer, but the output is not in the original order, it is shuffled. How can I output the strings in the original order?

  • Implementing default constructors

    - by James
    Implement the default constructor, the constructors with one and two int parameters. The one-parameter constructor should initialize the first member of the pair, the second member of the pair is to be 0. Overload binary operator + to add the pairs as follows: (a, b) + (c, d) = (a + c, b + d); Overload the - analogously. Overload the * on pairs ant int as follows: (a, b) * c = (a * c, b * c). Write a program to test all the member functions and overloaded operators in your class definition. You will also need to write accessor (get) functions for each member. The definition of the class Pairs: class Pairs { public: Pairs(); Pairs(int first, int second); Pairs(int first); // other members and friends friend istream& operator>> (istream&, Pair&); friend ostream& operator<< (ostream&, const Pair&); private: int f; int s; }; Self-Test Exercise #17: istream& operator (istream& ins, Pair& second) { char ch; ins ch; // discard init '(' ins second.f; ins ch; // discard comma ',' ins second.s; ins ch; // discard final '(' return ins; } ostream& operator<< (ostream& outs, const Pair& second) { outs << '('; outs << second.f; outs << ", " ;// I followed the Author's suggestion here. outs << second.s; outs << ")"; return outs; }

  • Java Cloud Service Integration to REST Service

    - by Jani Rautiainen
    Service (JCS) provides a platform to develop and deploy business applications in the cloud. In Fusion Applications Cloud deployments customers do not have the option to deploy custom applications developed with JDeveloper to ensure the integrity and supportability of the hosted application service. Instead the custom applications can be deployed to the JCS and integrated to the Fusion Application Cloud instance. This series of articles will go through the features of JCS, provide end-to-end examples on how to develop and deploy applications on JCS and how to integrate them with the Fusion Applications instance. In this article a custom application integrating with REST service will be implemented. We will use REST services provided by Taleo as an example; however the same approach will work with any REST service. In this example the data from the REST service is used to populate a dynamic table. Pre-requisites Access to Cloud instance In order to deploy the application access to a JCS instance is needed, a free trial JCS instance can be obtained from Oracle Cloud site. To register you will need a credit card even if the credit card will not be charged. To register simply click "Try it" and choose the "Java" option. The confirmation email will contain the connection details. See this video for example of the registration.Once the request is processed you will be assigned 2 service instances; Java and Database. Applications deployed to the JCS must use Oracle Database Cloud Service as their underlying database. So when JCS instance is created a database instance is associated with it using a JDBC data source.The cloud services can be monitored and managed through the web UI. For details refer to Getting Started with Oracle Cloud. JDeveloper JDeveloper contains Cloud specific features related to e.g. connection and deployment. To use these features download the JDeveloper from JDeveloper download site by clicking the "Download JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.1 for ADF deployment on Oracle Cloud" link, this version of JDeveloper will have the JCS integration features that will be used in this article. For versions that do not include the Cloud integration features the Oracle Java Cloud Service SDK or the JCS Java Console can be used for deployment. For details on installing and configuring the JDeveloper refer to the installation guideFor details on SDK refer to Using the Command-Line Interface to Monitor Oracle Java Cloud Service and Using the Command-Line Interface to Manage Oracle Java Cloud Service. Access to a local database The database associated with the JCS instance cannot be connected to with JDBC.  Since creating ADFbc business component requires a JDBC connection we will need access to a local database. 3rd party libraries This example will use some 3rd party libraries for implementing the REST service call and processing the input / output content. Other libraries may also be used, however these are tested to work. Jersey 1.x Jersey library will be used as a client to make the call to the REST service. JCS documentation for supported specifications states: Java API for RESTful Web Services (JAX-RS) 1.1 So Jersey 1.x will be used. Download the single-JAR Jersey bundle; in this example Jersey 1.18 JAR bundle is used. Json-simple Jjson-simple library will be used to process the json objects. Download the  JAR file; in this example json-simple-1.1.1.jar is used. Accessing data in Taleo Before implementing the application it is beneficial to familiarize oneself with the data in Taleo. Easiest way to do this is by using a RESTClient on your browser. Once added to the browser you can access the UI: The client can be used to call the REST services to test the URLs and data before adding them into the application. First derive the base URL for the service this can be done with: Method: GET URL: https://tbe.taleo.net/MANAGER/dispatcher/api/v1/serviceUrl/<company name> The response will contain the base URL to be used for the service calls for the company. Next obtain authentication token with: Method: POST URL: https://ch.tbe.taleo.net/CH07/ats/api/v1/login?orgCode=<company>&userName=<user name>&password=<password> The response includes an authentication token that can be used for few hours to authenticate with the service: {   "response": {     "authToken": "webapi26419680747505890557"   },   "status": {     "detail": {},     "success": true   } } To authenticate the service calls navigate to "Headers -> Custom Header": And add a new request header with: Name: Cookie Value: authToken=webapi26419680747505890557 Once authentication token is defined the tool can be used to invoke REST services; for example: Method: GET URL: https://ch.tbe.taleo.net/CH07/ats/api/v1/object/candidate/search.xml?status=16 This data will be used on the application to be created. For details on the Taleo REST services refer to the Taleo Business Edition REST API Guide. Create Application First Fusion Web Application is created and configured. Start JDeveloper and click "New Application": Application Name: JcsRestDemo Application Package Prefix: oracle.apps.jcs.test Application Template: Fusion Web Application (ADF) Configure Local Cloud Connection Follow the steps documented in the "Java Cloud Service ADF Web Application" article to configure a local database connection needed to create the ADFbc objects. Configure Libraries Add the 3rd party libraries into the class path. Create the following directory and copy the jar files into it: <JDEV_USER_HOME>/JcsRestDemo/lib  Select the "Model" project, navigate "Application -> Project Properties -> Libraries and Classpath -> Add JAR / Directory" and add the 2 3rd party libraries: Accessing Data from Taleo To access data from Taleo using the REST service the 3rd party libraries will be used. 2 Java classes are implemented, one representing the Candidate object and another for accessing the Taleo repository Candidate Candidate object is a POJO object used to represent the candidate data obtained from the Taleo repository. The data obtained will be used to populate the ADFbc object used to display the data on the UI. The candidate object contains simply the variables we obtain using the REST services and the getters / setters for them: Navigate "New -> General -> Java -> Java Class", enter "Candidate" as the name and create it in the package "oracle.apps.jcs.test.model".  Copy / paste the following as the content: import oracle.jbo.domain.Number; public class Candidate { private Number candId; private String firstName; private String lastName; public Candidate() { super(); } public Candidate(Number candId, String firstName, String lastName) { super(); this.candId = candId; this.firstName = firstName; this.lastName = lastName; } public void setCandId(Number candId) { this.candId = candId; } public Number getCandId() { return candId; } public void setFirstName(String firstName) { this.firstName = firstName; } public String getFirstName() { return firstName; } public void setLastName(String lastName) { this.lastName = lastName; } public String getLastName() { return lastName; } } Taleo Repository Taleo repository class will interact with the Taleo REST services. The logic will query data from Taleo and populate Candidate objects with the data. The Candidate object will then be used to populate the ADFbc object used to display data on the UI. Navigate "New -> General -> Java -> Java Class", enter "TaleoRepository" as the name and create it in the package "oracle.apps.jcs.test.model".  Copy / paste the following as the content (for details of the implementation refer to the documentation in the code): import com.sun.jersey.api.client.Client; import com.sun.jersey.api.client.ClientResponse; import com.sun.jersey.api.client.WebResource; import com.sun.jersey.core.util.MultivaluedMapImpl; import java.io.StringReader; import java.util.ArrayList; import java.util.Iterator; import java.util.List; import java.util.Map; import javax.ws.rs.core.MediaType; import javax.ws.rs.core.MultivaluedMap; import oracle.jbo.domain.Number; import org.json.simple.JSONArray; import org.json.simple.JSONObject; import org.json.simple.parser.JSONParser; /** * This class interacts with the Taleo REST services */ public class TaleoRepository { /** * Connection information needed to access the Taleo services */ String _company = null; String _userName = null; String _password = null; /** * Jersey client used to access the REST services */ Client _client = null; /** * Parser for processing the JSON objects used as * input / output for the services */ JSONParser _parser = null; /** * The base url for constructing the REST URLs. For this example we will create a "Transient" view object that will be programmatically populated based the data obtained from Taleo REST services. Creating ADFbc objects Choose the "Model" project and navigate "New -> Business Tier : ADF Business Components : View Object". On the "Initialize Business Components Project" choose the local database connection created in previous step. On Step 1 enter "JcsRestDemoVO" on the "Name" and choose "Rows populated programmatically, not based on query": On step 2 create the following attributes: CandId Type: Number Updatable: Always Key Attribute: checked Name Type: String Updatable: Always On steps 3 and 4 accept defaults and click "Next".  On step 5 check the "Application Module" checkbox and enter "JcsRestDemoAM" as the name: Click "Finish" to generate the objects. Populating the VO To display the data on the UI the "transient VO" is populated programmatically based on the data obtained from the Taleo REST services. Open the "JcsRestDemoVOImpl.java". Copy / paste the following as the content (for details of the implementation refer to the documentation in the code): import java.sql.ResultSet; import java.util.List; import java.util.ListIterator; import oracle.jbo.server.ViewObjectImpl; import oracle.jbo.server.ViewRowImpl; import oracle.jbo.server.ViewRowSetImpl; // --------------------------------------------------------------------- // --- File generated by Oracle ADF Business Components Design Time. // --- Tue Feb 18 09:40:25 PST 2014 // --- Custom code may be added to this class. // --- Warning: Do not modify method signatures of generated methods. // --------------------------------------------------------------------- public class JcsRestDemoVOImpl extends ViewObjectImpl { /** * This is the default constructor (do not remove). */ public JcsRestDemoVOImpl() { } @Override public void executeQuery() { /** * For some reason we need to reset everything, otherwise * 2nd entry to the UI screen may fail with * "java.util.NoSuchElementException" in createRowFromResultSet * call to "candidates.next()". I am not sure why this is happening * as the Iterator is new and "hasNext" is true at the point * of the execution. • Increasing time resolution of BOOST::progress timer

    - by feelfree
    BOOST::progress_timer is a very useful class to measure the running time of a function. However, the default implementation of progress_timer is not accurate enough and a possible way of increasing time resolution is to reconstruct a new class as the following codes show: #include <boost/progress.hpp> #include <boost/static_assert.hpp> template<int N=2> class new_progress_timer:public boost::timer { public: new_progress_timer(std::ostream &os=std::cout):m_os(os) { BOOST_STATIC_ASSERT(N>=0 &&N<=10); } ~new_progress_timer(void) { try { std::istream::fmtflags old_flags = m_os.setf(std::istream::fixed,std::istream::floatfield); std::streamsize old_prec = m_os.precision(N); m_os<<elapsed()<<"s\n" <<std::endl; m_os.flags(old_flags); m_os.precison(old_prec); } catch(...) { } } private: std::ostream &m_os; }; However, when I compile the codes with VC10, the following error appear: 'precison' : is not a member of 'std::basic_ostream<_Elem,_Traits>' Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Android - BitmapFactory.decodeByteArray - OutOfMemoryError (OOM)

    - by Bob Keathley
    I have read 100s of article about the OOM problem. Most are in regard to large bitmaps. I am doing a mapping application where we download 256x256 weather overlay tiles. Most are totally transparent and very small. I just got a crash on a bitmap stream that was 442 Bytes long while calling BitmapFactory.decodeByteArray(....). The Exception states: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: bitmap size exceeds VM budget(Heap Size=9415KB, Allocated=5192KB, Bitmap Size=23671KB) The code is: protected Bitmap retrieveImageData() throws IOException { URL url = new URL(imageUrl); InputStream in = null; OutputStream out = null; HttpURLConnection connection = (HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection(); // determine the image size and allocate a buffer int fileSize = connection.getContentLength(); if (fileSize < 0) { return null; } byte[] imageData = new byte[fileSize]; // download the file //Log.d(LOG_TAG, "fetching image " + imageUrl + " (" + fileSize + ")"); BufferedInputStream istream = new BufferedInputStream(connection.getInputStream()); int bytesRead = 0; int offset = 0; while (bytesRead != -1 && offset < fileSize) { bytesRead = istream.read(imageData, offset, fileSize - offset); offset += bytesRead; } // clean up istream.close(); connection.disconnect(); Bitmap bitmap = null; try { bitmap = BitmapFactory.decodeByteArray(imageData, 0, bytesRead); } catch (OutOfMemoryError e) { Log.e("Map", "Tile Loader (241) Out Of Memory Error " + e.getLocalizedMessage()); System.gc(); } return bitmap; } Here is what I see in the debugger: bytesRead = 442 So the Bitmap data is 442 Bytes. Why would it be trying to create a 23671KB Bitmap and running out of memory?

  • Making an asynchronous Client with boost::asio

    - by tag
    Hello, i'm trying to make an asynchronous Client with boost::asio, i use the daytime asynchronous Server(in the tutorial). However sometimes the Client don't receive the Message, sometimes it do :O I'm sorry if this is too much Code, but i don't know what's wrong :/ Client: #include <iostream> #include <stdio.h> #include <ostream> #include <boost/thread.hpp> #include <boost/bind.hpp> #include <boost/array.hpp> #include <boost/asio.hpp> using namespace std; using boost::asio::ip::tcp; class TCPClient { public: TCPClient(boost::asio::io_service& IO_Service, tcp::resolver::iterator EndPointIter); void Write(); void Close(); private: boost::asio::io_service& m_IOService; tcp::socket m_Socket; boost::array<char, 128> m_Buffer; size_t m_BufLen; private: void OnConnect(const boost::system::error_code& ErrorCode, tcp::resolver::iterator EndPointIter); void OnReceive(const boost::system::error_code& ErrorCode); void DoClose(); }; TCPClient::TCPClient(boost::asio::io_service& IO_Service, tcp::resolver::iterator EndPointIter) : m_IOService(IO_Service), m_Socket(IO_Service) { tcp::endpoint EndPoint = *EndPointIter; m_Socket.async_connect(EndPoint, boost::bind(&TCPClient::OnConnect, this, boost::asio::placeholders::error, ++EndPointIter)); } void TCPClient::Close() { m_IOService.post( boost::bind(&TCPClient::DoClose, this)); } void TCPClient::OnConnect(const boost::system::error_code& ErrorCode, tcp::resolver::iterator EndPointIter) { if (ErrorCode == 0) // Successful connected { m_Socket.async_receive(boost::asio::buffer(m_Buffer.data(), m_BufLen), boost::bind(&TCPClient::OnReceive, this, boost::asio::placeholders::error)); } else if (EndPointIter != tcp::resolver::iterator()) { m_Socket.close(); tcp::endpoint EndPoint = *EndPointIter; m_Socket.async_connect(EndPoint, boost::bind(&TCPClient::OnConnect, this, boost::asio::placeholders::error, ++EndPointIter)); } } void TCPClient::OnReceive(const boost::system::error_code& ErrorCode) { if (ErrorCode == 0) { std::cout << m_Buffer.data() << std::endl; m_Socket.async_receive(boost::asio::buffer(m_Buffer.data(), m_BufLen), boost::bind(&TCPClient::OnReceive, this, boost::asio::placeholders::error)); } else { DoClose(); } } void TCPClient::DoClose() { m_Socket.close(); } int main() { try { boost::asio::io_service IO_Service; tcp::resolver Resolver(IO_Service); tcp::resolver::query Query("127.0.0.1", "daytime"); tcp::resolver::iterator EndPointIterator = Resolver.resolve(Query); TCPClient Client(IO_Service, EndPointIterator); boost::thread ClientThread( boost::bind(&boost::asio::io_service::run, &IO_Service)); std::cout << "Client started." << std::endl; std::string Input; while (Input != "exit") { std::cin >> Input; } Client.Close(); ClientThread.join(); } catch (std::exception& e) { std::cerr << e.what() << std::endl; } } Server: http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_39_0/doc/html/boost_asio/tutorial/tutdaytime3/src.html Regards :)

  • Struts2 Populating Checkbox from Arraylist of Objects

    - by user2972139
    I'm sure that I'm doing something dumb but I've been going craze over the last couple of days trying to get my checkboxes filled out inside an iterator that goes over an arraylist of object. Here is my object: public class EmailObject { int emailId; String emailAddress; public int getEmailId() { return emailId; } public void setEmailId(int emailId) { this.emailId = emailId; } public String getEmailAddress() { return emailAddress; } public void setEmailAddress(String emailAddress) { this.emailAddress = emailAddress; } } In my action class, I create an arraylist of the above EmailObjects. On my jsp page, I can get checkboxes through a checkboxlist (but this isn't good for me because I want it to be vertical and don't want to mess with the struts styles) <s:checkboxlist name="selectedEmails" list="userEmails" listValue="emailAddress" listKey="emailId" /> I can also iterate over the arraylist userEmails and display the values: <s:iterator value="userEmails" var="thisEmailData"> <s:property value="emailId"/> <s:property value="emailAddress"/> </s:iterator> But I can't get it to display the emailId when iterating over the arraylist userEmails. I tried all of these: <s:iterator value="userEmails" var="thisEmailData"> <tr><td><s:property value="emailId"/></td></tr> <tr><td> <s:checkbox fieldValue="%{#emailId}" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox fieldValue="#emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox fieldValue="thisEmailData.emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox fieldValue="userEmails.emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox fieldValue="#thisEmailData.emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox fieldValue="#userEmails.emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox fieldValue="%{#thisEmailData.emailId}" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox fieldValue="%{#userEmails.emailId}" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox fieldValue="emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox value="%{#emailId}" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox value="#emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox value="thisEmailData.emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox value="userEmails.emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox value="#thisEmailData.emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox value="#userEmails.emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox value="%{#thisEmailData.emailId}" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox value="%{#userEmails.emailId}" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" ></s:checkbox> <s:checkbox value="emailId" name="emailAddressesCB" theme="simple" > </s:checkbox> <s:property value="emailAddress"/> </td></tr> </s:iterator> </td></tr> </s:iterator> From the above, the value field is never filled with the value of the emailId. I know I'm missing something basic. What is it? THANK YOU.
