    I've had this problem before but was able to work around it until now, Basically I'm creating a custom UIbutton setting its image as a uiimage and then the button that has had a label until I implimented the below code now loses its label. I need that label because it is set programatically in code that follows.   • Is it possible to make a button on an AlertDialog that doesn't automatically close the dialog?

    I have a simple list view with some check boxes in an alert dialog. I need to option to add a select all/none but you can't bring up the menu in an alert dialog, and I want to do this function from a button. From what I've seen any kind of button (positive, neutral, and negative) all close the dialog regardless. So, is this possible? If no, what alternatives do I have? My last mitigation is to simply create a new view and recreate everything. Is a new view the best solution?

  • How to Detect Forward and Back Mouse Button Events in Delphi?

    If a mouse has other buttons in addition to the standard left/right/middle (e.g. forward/back), how can we detect those button clicks in Delphi? An example of how this is used is the Internet Explorer, where the forward/back button on the side of a Logitech or MS mouse cycles forward and back between any loaded web pages. This seems to replicate the Backspace/CTRL+Backspace on the keyboard but I tried to detect that using KeyPreview and the KeyPress event but it does not pick it up. Any idea how to detect clicks on these extended mouse buttons?

    Basically I want to create the effect of that provided in the system's menu bar. A user presses on one of the menu headings, and as he moves across the different headings, the menus open up automatically. The snag is that if I open a pop-up menu for a button, the user has to click again to dismiss it. The entire runloop is on hold as I believe the pop-up menu is modal. How do I go about being able to send a [somePopUpMenu cancelTracking] when the user moves to the next button? Cheers

  • Dynamic web user control problem when browser's back button is clicked.

    Hi all, I have an .aspx page in which I dynamically add web controls to a panel. The problem is when I hit the browser's back buton, it's displayed a version of the page that no longer exists on the server-side, because the controls are dynamically added. Let's say my aspx dynamically adds Control1. From there, I click a button that loads Control2. At this moment, if I press the browser's back button, it will display the page with Control1, but Control1 no longer exists on the server-side, so if I interact with it, some erractic behaviour will occur. Any ideas on this? Thank you very much.

    Situation: I have an Eclipse RCP Application, which I am trying to build with tycho plugin for Eclipse. When I am executing my Eclipse Application inside of the IDe - the Application is executed normally. When using tycho to build the Application - the following error is thrown: The type org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Button cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files What I did : In other cases where a "missing requirenments" exception was thrown, which I found - a missing transitive plugin-dependency was the reason. In my case an SWT widget "Button" is missing, so I am trying to import swt. SWT is platform dependant so I am importing swt inside of the product, as described here. Anyway, during compilation the error occurs again. Question: Do someone have any Idea, how to solve this Problem?

    I've seen simple examples of rendering a Zend_Form using decorators, but I'm not sure they are able to handle the issue I'm facing very well. I query the database and get an array of user objects. I want to display these users as a form, with a radio button next to each of them and a submit button at the bottom of the page.     I've got Wordpress 2.5 installed on my website. It works well, but I can't get the photo uploader to work. When I'm writing a post, I click on the "Add media" button. In the "Choose File" tab, I see the "Choose files to upload" button. When I click on it, nothing happens. I searched the net and found nothing helpful. One page vaguely mentioned having the latest Flash player. I verified and confirmed that I have the latest player. Any ideas?

    I have several pages, let's call them A, B and C. Each of these pages has a form where the user can type in some information and click a button to send those information to the server. This button click is performed in an UpdatePanel to prevent a full postback. A customer of ours now wants to know how many % of the using visiting each site (A, B and C have different URLs) use this form. (Meaning I need seperate values for A, B and C) How to I track this in Google Analytics? It seems that I have to create a conversion(??) for each page. Is that correct? How must I modify the existing web application to let Google Analytics know, that a user submitted the form. (without the need to redirect thank to xy amount of different thank you pages) The only piece of information I've found so far is this: http://www.google.com/support/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=55519 Unfortunately, this FAQ entry does not cover my answer.

    In my application, there is one button in the navigation bar. I want it to work only for the 1t click of the user. If he continousally presses on it 2 or 3 times just after the 1st click the button shouldnt recieve the following ones. How can I do this? My app always crashes if the user presses it for more than once. I dont want to make it multithread and use lock. Thats why i want to know whether there is anyother alternative.

I have been following along in Nerd Dinner and used the demo as a way to create my own app. I have created a page that lists out some food items with calories, fat, protein,etc...     I would like to make a button in my iPad app (probably will be similar to iPhone apps) that when I push this button, all audio is muted, even when you exit the app. I don't see anyway that you can control the volume, although I'm sure other apps have that I have seen in the app store for the iPhone. I also read some places that doing this would reject you from the app store. How could I go about lowering, or highering the volume of the iPad from an app that works even when the app closes? The user can sign in and uncheck what alerts to receive, but not scrub their details - On the email sent I have an unsubscribe button. Seeing as this is going to the public, can I turn round to my boss and say "by law we need one" else he might just turn around and try and charge the client, and I don't agree with that for something so rudimentary
