  i have a .sh file stored in some linux system.the full path of the file is "/comviva/CPP/Kokila/TransactionHandler/scripts/stopTH.sh". i am tring to execute it by Runtime.getRuntime().exec("/comviva/CPP/Kokila/TransactionHandler/scripts/stopTH.sh"). but it is giving some exception. i want to execute that file from my java program in windows mechine. is it possible.?if yes then plese give me some code .. thanks koushik

  I have one file that should only be accessible via the POST method. /var/www/folder/index.php The document root is /var/www/ and index.php is nested inside a folder. My configurations are as follows: <Directory "/var/www/folder"> <Files "index.php"> order deny,allow Allow from all <LimitExcept POST> Deny from all </LimitExcept> </Files> </Directory> I visit my server at 127.0.0.1/folder but I can GET and POST the file just like normal. I've also tried reversing the order, order allow,deny, require, limitexcept and limit. How can I only allow POST requests to be processed by one file in a folder?

From there I could choose any/all of the hash formats, click hash and it would generate said checksums right there. • Samba issue with sharing directories on NTFS/FAT32 (Mounted Drives) ???

  Hi guys, I have some strange problems with Samba server. I am using samba Version 3.5.4 on Ubuntu 10.10. I have two windows-xp machines, one on VirtualBox on Ubuntu and another office laptop. Windows machine on VBox has no issues in accessing the shared folders, but the laptop is not able to access all the shared content. The issue faced on laptop is = Shared folders on Ext3 drives have no issues in accessing, but the contents shared on NTFS and FAT32 drives (mounted ones) are not accessible. When I try to open the shared folder, it asks for user name and password, but doesn't accept when I provide it. (even if I provide admin login details!!!). I changed workgroup value to the domain_name in office laptop, but still the problem persists... Here is the smdb.conf I am using...   I have a Folder entity that can be Moderated by users. Folders can contain other folders. So I may have a structure like this: Folder 1 Folder 2 Folder 3 Folder 4 I have to decide how to implement Moderation for this entity. I've come up with two options: Option 1 When the user is given moderation privileges to Folder 1, define a moderator relationship between Folder 1 and User 1. No other relationships are added to the db. To determine if the user can moderate Folder 3, I check and see if User 1 is the moderator of any parent folders. This seems to alleviate some of the complexity of handling updates / moved entities / additions under Folder 1 after the relationship has been defined, and reverting the relationship means I only have to deal with one entity. Option 2 When the user is given moderation privileges to Folder 1, define a new relationship between User 1 and Folder 1, and all child entities down to the grandest of grandchildren when the relationship is created, and if it's ever removed, iterate back down the graph to remove the relationship. If I add something under Folder 2 after this relationship has been made, I just copy all Moderators into the new Entity. But when I need to show only the top-level Folders that a user is Moderating, I need to query all folders that have a parent folder that the user does not moderate, as opposed to option 1, where I just query any items that the user is moderating. I think it comes down to determining if users will be querying for all parent items more than they'll be querying child items... if so, then option 1 seems better. But I'm not sure. Is either approach better than the other? Why? Or is there another approach that's better than both? I'm using Entity Framework in case it matters.

  Okay this Question is basically directed for using GRIVE the linux client for Google Drive Details on how to do it are Here. The thing is that,evrytime i want the folder to sync,I have to navigate to the google drive folder and then execute the grive commnd. I want to make it simple..I want to make a launcher(I know how to make a *.desktop file). But in a .desktop file you always give path to executable file(generally .sh). Here,there is no script in the Grive folder.The app is as usual in /usr/bin/grive Now how do I make the launcher to first navigate to the grive folder and then execut the grive command.. Thanx :)

• Emacs stops taking input when a file has changed on disk [migrated]

  I'm using Emacs v24.3.1 on Windows 8. I had a file change on disk while I had an Emacs buffer open with that file. As soon as I attempt to make a change to the buffer, a message appears in the minibuffer. Fileblah.txt changed on disk; really edit the buffer? (y, n, r or C-h) I would expect to be able to hit r to have it reload the disk version of the file, but nothing happens. Emacs completely stops responding to input. None of the listed keys work, nor do any other keys as far as I can tell. I can't C-g out of the minibuffer. Alt-F4 doesn't work, not does Close window from the task bar. I have to kill the process from task manager. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong here? In cases it's various modes not playing nice with each other, for reference, my init.el is here. Nothing complex. Here's the breakdown: better-defaults (ido-mode, remove menu-bar, uniquify buffer `forward, saveplace) recentf-mode custom frame title visual-line-mode require final newline and delete trailing whitespace on save Markdown mode with auto-mode-alist Flyspell with Aspell backend Powershell mode with auto-mode-alist Ruby auto-mode-alist Puppet mode with auto-mode-alist Feature (Gherkin) mode with auto-mode-alist The specific file was a markdown file with Github-flavored Markdown mode and Flyspell mode enabled.

  Noob here. OK, I 1 Open the Dash. 2 Type "file". An app appears, called "files", icon looks like ta 2-drawer file cabinet. I click that, the app opens 3: I click the "Search button". I type the file name in the box and hit Enter. 4: The program thinks for a while, then displays a result. Great! the program found the file I was ilooking for! IT knows where myfile.foo is, BUT I DON'T! IT DOESN'T F%*%#ING SAY WHERE IT IS!!!! How do I find out where it is, please? I hate to say this, but is there an app that works like Windows Explorer (but doesn't crash every 2 minutes)?

  I'm trying to retrieve the names of the texture files (or their locations) on a mesh. I realize that the texture file name information is not preserved when the model is loaded. I've been doing tons of searching and some experimenting but I've been met with no luck. I've gathered that I need to extended the content pipeline and store the file location in somewhere like ModelMeshPart.Tag. My problem is, even when I'm trying to make my own custom processor, I still can't figure out where the texture file name is. :( Any thoughts? Thanks! UPDATE: Okay, so I found something kind of promising. NodeContent.Identity.SourceFilename, only that returns the location of my .X model. When I go down the node tree he is always null. Then there's the ContentItem.Name property. It seems to have names of my mesh, but not my actual texture file names. :(

In one of my testcases, its input are the file names (amount about 300~400) under a specific folder. Although these input are part of file system, the execution time of this test is very fast.   I am using Ubuntu. I would like to have a user be able to double-click (or whatever they have set to open a file) on the save file for a java game i'm making, and have the game start and automatically load the save. How could I make the game launch instead of opening the file, and then pass the save's file name or location as an argument? Would i have to have the game create a new mime type the first time it ran, or something similar, so that Ubuntu knows what to do with the save when the user tries to open it?

  Developing in PHP, I'm usually confronted with various log files: apache, web apps, error logs etc. I'm currently using Notepad++ with the option to notify me when a file has changed. But when I need to monitor many files, I end up with too many tabs opened. I've used some of these, but they were lacking some basic stuff (like double clicking on the file to open it; oh, c'mon). What do you guys use for monitoring file changes? I needn't be "modern" or fancy. Just a simple "Hey, this file was changed. Here, click on it to open". (Maybe I'll end up making one myself, but I need to learn some more Java).

  So I'm SSHed into my Ubuntu server from my Ubuntu desktop. I'm at a certain path and I want to download a file to my local filesystem (preferably the path I was at before I entered the SSH session). I could mount SSH and pull the file across by mouse but what if I was trying to get a root file and logging in by root directly is disallowed? Even if that wasn't the case (it isn't now), surely there must be a simple way of pulling back a file over an active SSH connection. Surely!

  I am in the process of structuring a small program to perform some hydraulic analysis of pipe flow. As I am envisioning this, the program will read an input file, store the input parameters in a suitable way, operate on them and finally output results. I am struggling with how to structure the input file in a sane way; that is, in a way that a human can write it easily and a machine can parse it easily. A sample input file made available to me for a similar program is just a stream of comma-separated numbers that don't make much sense on their own, so that's the scenario I am trying to avoid. Though I am giving the details of my particular problem, I am more interested in general input-file structuring strategies. Is a stream of comma-separated values my best bet? Would I be better off using some sort of key:value structure? I don't know much about this, so any help will probably put me in a better track than I am now.

Now my git repo folder looks the same as other folders. If I want to view file status I have to type git status in the command line. I want some icons which could inform me the file/folder status at my first glance on the folder view. I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 EDIT I googled it, and what I'm asking for is called the overlay icon.

  I'm looking for an application which puts all files from my Downloads folder into a new generated folder (called like the date) per button press or automatically is able to move files to its destinated directory automatically (p.e. *.png files should be put into /home/user/pictures/random/, *.avi to /videos/, ...) If you are familiar with the DayFolder application: I'm looking for an application like that but for any folder (not only the Desktop). In my case that's Downloads because this folder gets cluttered on my PC very fast. Thanks for your advice/help!
