    When your SharePoint Solution package include third party or external dlls , you will often see your solution fail to deploy due to the locking of the dlls. Today I will show you how to find which process locks your dlls using Process Explorer. 1. Here is an example that your solution fails to deploy due to dll being locked. 2. Start the explorer by double click the procexp.exe 3. From the find tab click Find Handle or DLL 4.Type the your dll name and click Search 5. I can see all the processes that use my dlls at the moment, it looks like the iis , visual studio and SharePoint timer services might be the trouble. From my experience , it could be Visual studio. 6. Close visual studio and redeploy my solution, it works like charm. Re-search the dll, you can see Visual studio is not in the results.

    Just installed Ubuntu for the first time... Is there any simple way to browse installed programs? On Mac there is the Applications top-level folder... here I see Desktop, Documents, Downloads etc but no Apps? That'd be a good idea, no? (is there some way to create this myself?) On Windows there is the Start menu... Here it seems like I have to click the 'Dash Home' and then I can see 'Recent Apps' ... I can search for them (I'd rather not) ...or I can click the ruler/pencil icon at the bottom and see 'Recent Apps' and click to expand 'Installed Apps' ...ok that's all of them - is it possible to get a straight list view instead of the hard-to-scan wrapped rows? Also, is there any way to get rid of the pointless random selection of 'Apps available for download' at the bottom?

  • Is there any way to keep launchers synchronized among machines?

    Most of us use more than one machine for our purpose. The scenario for me is to use one at home, another at office. When comes to the launcher at left, the applications get added in chronological order. You can click and drag an application in launcher, but this is a tedious process. If your application placements are different among the machines, you loose the intuitive mouse click. You need to spend a few seconds to find out where actually the launcher is before you click on it. Is there any way I can keep the launcher applications (at least the locked ones) synchronized among machines? Thanks.

  • USB 3 port fails to enable my keyboard during boot

    My laptop has both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports. I've connected: mouse -- USB 2.0 port keyboard -- USB 3.0 port On starting the system, the mouse is active however the keyboard does not function. Everytime i have to disconnect the keyboard and plug it back in and only then it becomes active. Is there any fix to this problem or is the USB port itself faulty? specs: Dell XPS, 64-bit i7 processor with 8G of RAM

I still can't seem to get any copy-paste working. Am I missing something here? I've installed gpm which gives mouse support in server mode (no X), and allows copy-paste using the mouse, but still the VirtualBox integration doesn't work.

    Context: Windows 7 Wired mouse and keyboard The Windows 7 Photos screensaver intermittently fails to kick in after 2 minutes. The computer knows that the time has passed because it will make my monitors display solid black screens. I already tried installing the latest mouse drivers from Microsoft and the problem persists. I also can't find any rhyme or reason to when the problem will happen. The problem happens even when Windows Media Player isn't running.

    I have a dual-monitor setup, and currently I can run a full screen game (Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 2 currently) and see still see anything I have open on my second monitor. I can't move my mouse from one monitor to the other, which is a good thing. However, I would like to know if it's possible to press some key combination and "release" my mouse control from the full screen game to my second monitor without the game minimizing (which is what happens when I ALT - Tab).

Moreover, I have many components in my canvas, so I need it not to be too expensive. Also, when I move the mouse out from the component, but over the pop-up, it should not disappear, because I want to click on the buttons inside it. I need something similar to gmail chat popups.   • Unresponsive form instance when instantiating form gets minimized

    There's form A is the main form that gets hidden and is accessible via NotifyIcon's context menu. Form A instantiates form B via NotifyIcon's context menu also. Form B reacts to mouse events, etc. No problem there. Form B instantiates form C. Form C reacts to mouse events, etc. No problem here as well, but when form B gets minimized, form C no longer reacts to mouse events (eg. can no longer move, button clicks do not respond). Any idea why form C behaves like this in relation to form B getting minimized. I also tried to instantiate form C through form A (eg. form B calling a method in form A to instantiate form C) but the same thing happens. Is there any way to make form C respond even w/ form B (initiator) minimized?

    My goal is to move a shape in the virtual world in such a way so that it ends up where the mouse pointer is on the canvas. What i have: -mouse position (x,y) on a Canvas3D object -Point3d object of where a pick ray starting from the Canvas3D viewport intersects with the first scene object. (point in 3D space of where i want to start the drag) What i want: -Some way to translate the Point3d's coordinates so that the initial point of intersection (the Point3d object) is always overlapping the the mouse position on the canvas (same as when i used the pick ray to determine what the user clicked on from the Canvas3D object). Just as the line tool in Photoshop (for example): The user clicks on the image, drags the mouse (while the line between the start point and the mouse point is dynamically drawn on mouse drag). I would also need a callable function to send the page the start and end coordinates.   • Why does my NSWindow only receive mouseOver events the first time?

    I have an application where a borderless window is shown and hidden, using orderOut and orderFront. When it is visible, I want the it to become the key window when the mouse moves over it. So far I've done this: In awakeFromNib I have set its first responder to itself. In the window's constructor I set accepts mouse events to YES. In the mouseMoved method, I use makeKeyAndOrderToFront. My problem is, that this only works the first time I move the mouse over the window. After that, it doesn't receive any mouseOver events. I've tried checking the firstResponder but as far as I can tell it never changes from the window. Any ideas what I can do to get this working?
