  • Flex 3 - Remove image flickering

    Hello Community! I have an application with different components that are accessible through a viewstack in the main application. The main application looks like that: <Application> <Viewstack> <myComponent1/> <myComponent2/> <myComponent3/> . . . </Viewstack> </Application> In myComponent1, I have a horizontalList where the user can select a product. In myComponent2, I have 2 containers inside the component. A left container with a larger image of the product selected in myComponent1 and a right container with all characteristics of the product. Both containers have an embed background image. When I select a product in myComponent1, the application displays myComponent2. When the component is displayed, I first see the page without the large image of the product, then both containers flickers and the product image is displayed. How could I avoid this flickering?   • CaptureCameraDialog returns OK but does not save (Motorola ES400)

    Ok it seems like everyone in the world has issues with CaptureCameraDialog. In my case the result is OK, but when taking the photo there is a MessageBox that says "Error" that appears and disappears in the blink of an eye, then returns to my app (so I don't have time to actually read the error). It has not saved the file. It does not throw an error to my application. There is also another issue which is exactly the same as the issue talked about here (yet none of the fixes work for me). http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-4025602.php Does anyone know how to get the "error message" that the dialogue box displays for an instant?

  • PHP save a page then redirect to previous page(ajax)

    Dear all, I would like to ask for how to redirect to previous page (ajax paging). Example, Let's say currently I am in page 5, then I click on one record, after I edit it, I would like to go back to that page 5 not page 1. The problem is my paging is using ajax, http://domain/photo/#5 I try to use $_SERVER[http_referer], but I only get http://domain/photo , I not able to get # and the value. What is the best way to redirect back to the previous paging. My last choice is using $_SESSION. Hope I can get better answer here. Thx.

  • Actionscript: How Can I Know When The Source Property Of An Image Is Completely Updated

    var I:Image=new Image(); I.source='C:\\Abc.png'; var H:int=I.height; H is always Zero! I am presuming this is because the image hasn't finished reading the png file off the disk yet. What event can I monitor to know when it's width and height will have the right values? The 'Complete' event only seems to work for DOWNLOADED images. The 'Render' event happens EVERY FRAME. The (undocumented?) 'sourceChanged', happens as soon as source changes, and has the same problem! What event do I watch that will let me know when the image's width and height properties will have valid values? Or is there some Synchronous version of I.source='xxx.png', that I don't know about? P.S. Yes, I know I shouldn't use "C:\" in an Air Program. This was just for illustrative purposes, so that you won't suggest I use "Complete", which never even seems to fire when the file indicated by source is local.

    I'm using Dreamweaver CS5.5 for an HTML prototype that is built with image-mapped screenshots. I am using JavaScript to dynamically include the appropriate main image, and the navigation is done with image maps. Is it possible to have the Dreamweaver "Design View" run JavaScript initially (which will set the main image) and also allow me to edit the image maps in place (so I can see them placed over the correct main image)? I found some references to the "Live View" feature, which runs JavaScript successfully, but I cannot see or edit image maps in "Live View".

    I have the following code, i'm trying to make a loader appear then the image fade in once it is loaded. I want to make the function reusable so i can just add an image to a div with the loader id and it will work.   • Adobe Air: Is it possible to save files to a network path (osx)

    I was wondering if it would be possible to write a file, not to the local system, but to a connected server or other network path.   • Iphone: XML image problem

    Hi! I have a question about parsing XML and putting it into a table. I parsed the following elements from a RSS feed : title, dc:creator and enclosure url (= an image). The parsing is working, i can see everything showing up in the console. But when i try to load everything into the tablecell, everything shows up except for the image. So i figured that the problem must be in the CellForRowatIndexPath method in the RootViewController.m ( or in the TableCell.m) What am i doing wrong? Please help! Ive been struggling for days with this and just cant seem to figure it out!   • Matlab GUI: How to Save the Results of Functions (states of application)

    Hi, I would like to create an animation which enables the user to go backward and forward through the steps of simulation. An animation has to simulate the iterative process of channel decoding (a receiver receives a block of bits, performs an operation and then checks if the block corresponds to parity rules. If the block doesn't correspond the operation is performed again and the process finally ends when the code corresponds to a given rules). I have written the functions which perform the decoding process and return a m x n x i matrix where m x n is the block of data and i is the iteration index. So if it takes 3 iterations to decode the data the function returns a m x n x 3 matrix with each step is stired. In the GUI (.fig file) I put a "decode" button which runs the method for decoding and there are buttons "back" and "forward" which have to enable the user to switch between the data of recorded steps. I have stored the "decodedData" matrix and currentStep value as a global variable so by clicking "forward" and "next" buttons the indices have to change and point to appropriate step states. When I tried to debug the application the method returned the decoded data but when I tried to click "back" and "next" the decoded data appeared not to be declared. Does anyone know how is it possible to access (or store) the results of the functions in order to enable the described logic which I want to implement in Matlab GUI?

    I have a weird relationship that needs to be maintained for legacy processes. I'm trying to figure out how to create the relationship given the new model association. New Relationship Setup Machine has_many MachineReadings has_many Disks has_many DiskReadings Old Relationship Setup Machine has_many MachineReadings has_many DiskReadings has_many Disks The problem is data will come in on the Machine model as nested attributes using the new relationship setup. I need to update the machine_reading_id in the DiskReading model so the old association can continue to be used. I tried doing this via an after_save hook that would traverse back up to the machine and then down to the readings to get the machine_reading.id so I could populate the DiskReading model. However, the associations aren't being saved in the order I would expect. They are saving the Disks & DiskReadings before saving the MachineReadings. So when I go after the machine_reading.id it hasn't been written and thus I am unable to get access to it. For example: #machine_disk_reading.rb after_save :build_old_relationship def build_old_relationship self.machine_reading_id = self.disk.machine.readings.find_by_date_time(self.date_time).id end

    I've got a very complex form and i'm using the MVC model binding to capture all the information I've got it set up to capture all the different submissions that can happen as there are about 10 different submit buttons on the form, and there are also 2 image buttons I tried to get a bit clever (or so i thought) with capturing the image button submissions, and have created a child class so that i can capture the x value that's returned public class ImageButtonViewData { public int x { get; set; } public string Value { get; set; } } The parent class looks something like this public class ViewDataObject { public ImageButtonViewData ImageButton { get; set; } public ViewDataObject(){ this.ImageButton = new ImageButton(); } } The html for the image button then looks like <input type="image" id="ViewDataObject_ImageButton" name="ViewDataObject.ImageButton" /> This works fine in all browsers except for Chrome. When i debug it in chrome, the Request.Form object contains the values that i would expect, but after the model binding has occurred, the ImageButton property on the ViewDataObject has been set to null The only difference that i can see between the submission values is that Chrome passes the x as lower case (ViewDataObject.ImageButton.x) and IE passes it as upper case (ViewDataObject.ImageButton.X) but i didn't think that model binding took any notice of casing on property names Does anyone have any ideas ?

    Hi there, I'm banging my head against the wall with this one: What I want to do is store a file that is returned from an API in the data store as a blob. Here is the code that I use on my local machine (which of course works due to an existing file system): client.convertHtml(html, open('html.pdf', 'wb')) Since I cannot write to a file on App Engine I tried several ways to store the response, without success. Any hints on how to do this? I was trying to do it with StringIO and managed to store the response but then weren't able to store it as a blob in the data store. Thanks, Chris
