  • Roadsync Multiple Exchange Accounts configuration

    I am right now trialing the Roadsync application on my S60 3rd edition mobile. The documentation states that it allows multiple exchange accounts to be configured and that we could switch between the those accounts from the configuration. However, it doesn't specify how to do that and I am unable to figure that out too. Do any of you have a solution?

The app could either be a stand alone app installed on the mobile phone than could click snaps at predefined intervals or if there is a app that I can install on my PC and then control my phone's camera via bluetooth or wifi or anything else.     Hi, I'm looking for a way to minimize the net traffic use with my netbook mobile internet connection. Recently I managed to install Opera Mini on the XP and the opera approach of compressing the data helped a lot. But I would like to do the same with my favorite browser using http proxy that compress the data "on the fly". But searching for "compression proxy servers" I could not find any working host/port links. Is it a brand-new technology and therefore expensive or rarely available?

    I have built my own little custom XML-RPC server, and since I'd like to keep things simple, on both server and client side (server side PHP runs, by the way), what I would like to accomplish is to create a simplest possible client in C# using WCF. Let's say that Contract for service exposed via XML-RPC is as follows. [ServiceContract] public interface IContract { [OperationContract(Action="Ping")] string Ping(); // server returns back string "Pong" [OperationContract(Action="Echo")] string Echo(string message); // server echoes back whatever message is } So, there are two example methods, one without any arguments, and another with simple string argument, both returning strings (just for sake of example). Service is exposed via http. What's next? Thanks for reading! P.S. I have done my homework of googling around for samples and similar, but all that I could come up with are some blog-related samples that use existing (and very big) classes, which implement correct IContract (or IBlogger) interfaces, so that most of what I am interested is hidden below several layers of abstraction...

  • MP4 plays on Safari 4 (desktop) but not on Safari Mobile (iphone)

    I'm encoding the video with ffmpeg and displaying it using the HTML 5 video tag. It works fine on Firefox (i'm also providing a ogg version) and Safari 4. However, when I try to open it on the iphone I get a "Cannot Play Movie" error.     Hi Everyone, I just wanna create a MS plugin to hook SpringBoard. I'm following "gojohnnyboi" tutorial from here "http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103558". To create a dylib on XCode, I'm following "SkylarEC" tutorial. I mix these two great tutorials and finally got succeed by getting a dylib. But when I placed the dylib in the /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/ nothing is happened (no alert was shown). By evaluating, I found that, this dylib doesn't have any starting point when it was loaded into the memory. So I mentioned a starting point by declaring a constructor in the .mm file like, __ attribute__((constructor)) static void init() { Class _$SBAppIcon = objc_getClass("SBApplicationIcon"); MSHookMessage($SBAppIcon, @selector(launch), (IMP) &_$ExampleHook_AppIcon_Launch, "_OriginalMethodPrefix"); } But when I'm trying to compile this, I'm getting an error like, Undefined symbols: "_MSHookMessage", referenced from: init() in ExampleHook.o ld: symbol(s) not found collect2: ld returned 1 exit status. Does anyone has idea how to solve this? It would be great and more helpful if anyone share the detailed tutorial/instructions to create a dylib on XCode. P.S I placed all the libsubstrate.dylib and substrate.h files in the corresponding location. And the locations are, libsubstrate.dylib : /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/lib/ substrate.h : /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS3.0.sdk/usr/include and my base SDK is 3.0.

  • Preventing mouse emulation events (ie click) from touch events in Mobile Safari / iPhone using Javas

    In doing a single page Javascript app with interactive DOM elements I've found that the "mouseover-mousemove-mousedown-mouseup-click" sequence happens all in a bunch after the "touchstart-touchmove-touchend" sequence of events. I've also found that it is possible to prevent the "mouse*-click" events from happening by doing an "event.preventDefault()" during the touchstart event, but only then, and not during the touchmove and touchend. This is a strange design, because because it is not possible to know during the touchstart yet whether the user intents to drag or swipe or just tap/click on the item. I ended up setting up a "ignore_next_click" flag somewhere tied to a timestamp, but this is obviously not very clean. Does anybody know of a better way of doing this, or are we missing something? Note that while a "click" can be recognized as a "touchstart-touchend" sequence (ie no "touchmove"), there are certain things, such as keyboard input focus, that can only happen during a proper click event.

Using java via dalvik JVM. im fretting over a decision to represent objects in a particular map. should i use an id based map (2 dimensional integer array) and place game logic in a separate function in the game engine, or create an object array (2 dimensional array of game objects) and store game logic within the class methods. i am thinking about the cost of object creation and garbage collection vs extensibility.

  • OpenMP timer doesn't work on inline assembly code?

    I'm trying to compare some code samples for speed, and I decided to use the OpenMP timer since I'll eventually be multi threading the code. The timer works great on two of my four code snippets, but not on the other two start=omp_get_wtime(); /*code here*/ finish = omp_get_wtime() - start_time; The four code here sections are serial code, xmmintrin.h code, and two inline assembly codes. The serial and xmminstrin.h code are able to be timed, but the inline assembly codes returns -1.#IND00 for a time. I can't seem to figure out why this is? Thanks for any help or suggestions!
