  • How can I stop cruise control re-building after a failed build?

    I got back from the weekend to discover that somebody *ahem* had missed a file commit last thing Friday afternoon... Cruise control has been having fun, and tried to re-build every five minutes since then despite no further commits. This means that my colleagues and I have received approximately six hojillion emails from cruise control. A single fail email would be more than enough to notify us. Is there any way to stop cruise control building on failure, at least until a new commit occurs?

  • Test Jboss JMS externally - outside of the application server

    Hi All, I'm pretty new to the JMS functionality. I need to test a remote JMS which is on Jboss 4.2.1. I want to develop an external test (e.g from a main class) which sends and receives messages to/from the app. server. (I do have full access to the remote server.) My questions are: 1) How do I send messages to the Jboss JMS? 2) Where is the information needed to send a message located on the Jboss? ip, port, queue, user, pw, ect. to set up the local messaging test. 3) Is there a way to config/ develop a mechanism on the remote JMS Jboss server that sends back acknowledgments to the sender (in this case)?     Hi I want to send someone a HTML Mail via my application (c#). This Mail contains should contain a clickable html link that refers to a local application. f.e. : <a href="c:\myapplication.exe -1234">click</a> It already works to send the mail but the link does not appear as a link. I also tried the "file:/// ... " thing but it does not work in combination with a param. Does someone know another solution ?

  • Ajax basic email code without reloading page

    I have in a previous Q found out that I need an ajax-function to send an email (submit a contact form) without reloading the page. This is for my classifieds website, where when users are viewing a classified they have the option to "tip a friend" by entering their friends email-adress and submitting the form. But I don't want to reload the page, that would be frustrating and not so clever. The only input in the form is a text input which will contain the email-adress to send to, and another hidden input which contains the classified_id nr, to identify which classified it is. The website is php based btw... Does anybody have a simple script for this? I have no experience in Ajax at all... And would really appreciate it. Thanks PS: Would prefer no Jquery, due to clients own reasons...

    What is the correct way to use socket_select within PHP to send and receive data? I have a connection to the server that allows for both TCP & UDP packet connections, I am utilizing both. Within these connections I'm both sending and receiving packets on the same port, but the TCP packet will be sent on one port (29999) and UDP will be sent on another port (30000). The transmission type will be that of AF_INET. The IP address will be loopback 127.0.0.1. I have many questions on how to create a socket connection within this scenario. For example, is it better to use socket_create_pair to make the connection, or use just socket_create followed by socket_connect, and then implement socket_select? There is a chance that no data will be sent from the server to the client, and it is up to the client to maintain the connection. This will be done by utilizing the time out function within the socket_select call. Should no data be sent within the time limit, the socket_select function will break and a keep alive packet can then be sent.     If I have two forms: class ContactForm(forms.Form): name = forms.CharField() message = forms.CharField(widget=forms.Textarea) class SocialForm(forms.Form): name = forms.CharField() message = forms.CharField(widget=forms.Textarea) and wanted to use a class based view, and send both forms to the template, is that even possible? class TestView(FormView): template_name = 'contact.html' form_class = ContactForm It seems the FormView can only accept one form at a time. In function based view though I can easily send two forms to my template and retrieve the content of both within the request.POST back. variables = {'contact_form':contact_form, 'social_form':social_form } return render(request, 'discussion.html', variables) Is this a limitation of using class based view (generic views)?     I have a model, Order, that has an action in the admin panel that lets an admin send information about the order to certain persons listed that order. Each person has language set and that is the language the message is supposed to be sent in. The default language is en-us, the translations are in french (fr) and german (de). Is there a way to use the translation for the language specified in lang for body and subject then switch back to en-us? For example: lang is 'de'. The subject and body should get the strings specified in the 'de' translation files.

    Hi, I have developed an application for iPhone and iPod touch. Now i want to install that app on the device. I have created a provisioning profile for the particular device. My query is that, now to install the app on a device I have to add the provisioning profile of that device to xcode and after selecting the developer in build option in project info pane i build the project and send the build and provisioning profile to the user. Is there any to install the app without doing the above task of building the project with the provisioning profile. Means i have a build of an app and a newly downloaded provisioning profile. I will send the user both build and profile in a zip file. will the user be able to install the app on his/her device?

    I am building a whiteboard, which would have a server(teacher) and clients(students). Teacher would draw something on his side, which will be shown exactly same to the students. I want to know which component i should use to do the drawing? i am currently drawing on JPanel . I want the screen of Server gets copied on the clients, so for that what could be the right method to do this? option1: i save the JPanel as image, and send thru socket, and loads it on the screen of client, also it always saves the background image only, not what the user has drawn onto it. OR option2: both server and client JPanel dimensions are same, so i just send the new coordinates drawn everytime thru socket, with some protocol to understand whether it is rubber or pencil.. Any help would be appreciated.

    Wait, wait, this is a programming question! I want to build an extension if none exists. Imagine this: you come across a webpage that says "Just send a message to [email protected]" but to actually send the email, you need to highlight the address and then cut and paste it into the recipient field of a new compose window of your email client of choice. Obviously life would be easier if it were simply a mailto: link, so you could click on it and have a new message created automatically. (Or if the page designer had used a form, perhaps ...) I was originally going to ask if there was an extension to enable similar functionality for unlinked twitter @username mentions but I thought this email address problem would be a simpler situation. If you think it would be useless, perhaps I should look at the twitter username problem instead. Thanks for your feedback.

    I have an asp.net page where two grid views are available showing current stock market price updates. I need to update these two grid views every 20 seconds. So I was thinking of using JQuery to do this job. What I need is a timer which will fire every 20 seconds, send an ajax request to the servers, bring the order lists from the server using json and then update those two grid views. If a request to the server is still being served 20 seconds after it is fired, then I want the old one to be aborted without causing any trouble. I already know how to bring objects using json. I just need to figure out how to send a request every 20 seconds and cancel a request if it is still being server for 20 seconds.

Whatever i tried i get an empty image area (browser-no-image icon) in the email i receive. I also have checked "Allow restricted operations" in my agent. I would prefer it if there is a solution to use an image from my resources and not an external link. Any solutions?

    I have a application that reads a PDF, transform the content to collection of TIF files, and send them to Glass Fish Server for saving. Usually there are 1-5 pages and it works nice, but when I got a input file with 100+ pages... it throws error on the transfer. Java heap space at java.util.Arrays.copyOf(Arrays.java:2786) at java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream.write(ByteArrayOutputStream.java:94) Putting more resources is not a good option in my case, so I m looking for a way to optimize it somehow. I store the data in: HashMap<TifProfile, List<byte[]> Is there a better way to store or send them ? EDIT I did some tests and the final collections for PDF with 80 pages has size over 280mb (240 tiffs with different settings inside)
