• Excel 'recently used list' not showing on start menu, but working within excel

  In windows 7 when you pin Excel 2007 to the start menu, it usually has a small arrow which shows your recently opened documents. Mine only shows permanently pinned documents. It used to work until I tried Office 2010 and then uninstalled it. If I open Excel and click on the file menu, I can see all the recently opened documents so they are being recorded somewhere... Any idea on how to restore it so I can view them on the start menu - Which I always used before?

  In my office I have 4 computers connected to the Internet with a DIR-615 Wireless N 300 router which gives Internet to all pc's via Ethernet cable. But sometimes this Internet goes off and I have to call the ISP and it takes them 2 days to repair it. I wanted to know if in such cases, can I connect my two zte 3g usb modems to this DIR-615 Wirless N300 router and get emergency Internet in my office? • Starting Powerpoint show from ActiveX button

  I have several slide shows where topic related shows are launched from another show which acts as an index page. This worked fine in 2007 but now in Office 2010, whilst the show is still launched correctly from the index button, Powerpoint reopens on top of it, so now the show is hidden behind the Powerpoint startup page. However, I don’t want to replace every occurrence of eat such as those that can be found inside other words such as great and meat. I have tried doing this using the regular Find and Replace tool, but I get words with capital letters in the middle. Is there a way I can just replace eat with Eat if it only exists on its own?

But the problem is if my dupty manager is sending a mail to anyone director will get two copies of the same message because in certain cases the dupty manager has to keep the directors email address in CC option. So is it possible to my director to get the single copy of same message? Kindly help me out in this regard.

  I cannot ssh in (using putty) when I use 10.0.1.31 as the address. database server - wired switch part of Asus wireless router - office LAN So basically, we want to ssh in to the database server from our computer on the wired office LAN. Asus router has an ip of 10.0.1.31 and database server has a static IP of 192.168.0.20 I set up port forwarding like this: ssh 22 192.168.0.20 22 BOTH Firewall is turned completely off. • How can I verify the integrity of a WAN connection?

I suspect that the problem may be with the WAN link, and that TCP might not be detecting/correcting all errors. Is there any software for Windows that allows me to test the integrity of the connection by sending packets with an embedded CRC?

  In Word 2007 (and also on previous versions I have used), when I open folders, they open with icons or a list. I like 'detail' display and change it to that. I like detail because I can see which file is most recent and the size. But the next time I open the same folder, it opens back to icons or list but not details. • Why do some emails sent in Outlook 2010 get stuck in Outbox with date set to "None"?

  I'm using Outlook 2010 against Exchange 2007. Emails I compose sometimes get stuck in the Outbox with date "None" as shown below. These emails never leave the outbox unless I delete them and recompose. Sometimes the problem happens again until I restart the client. Additionally, if I open a good (one with today's date) email from the outbox and then send it, it too gets dated "None" and never gets sent.
