• Unable to step into interface implementation configured by unity application block

  I have configured a set of interface implementations with EntLib. unity block. The constructor of implementation classes work fine as soon as I run the application: 1. The interface to implement when I run the application the cctor runs fine, which shows that unity resolution was successful: But when I try to call a method of this class, the code just passes through without actually invoking the function of the implemented class: Edit: Added on June 11, 2012 Following is the Unity Configuration I have. • JavaScript To Strip Page For URL

  We have a javascript function we use to track page stats internally. However, the URLs it reports many times include the page numbers for search results pages which we would rather not be reported. The pages that are reports are of the form: http://www.test.com/directory1/2 http://www.test.com/directory1/subdirectory1/15 http://www.test.com/directory3/1113 Instead we'd like the above reported as: http://www.test.com/directory1 http://www.test.com/directory1/subdirectory1 http://www.test.com/directory3 Please note that the numbered 'directory' and 'subdirectory' names above are just for example purposes and that the actual subdirectory names are all different, don't necessarily include numbers at the end of the directory name, and can be many levels deep. Currently our JavaScript function produces these URLs using the code: var page = location.hostname+document.location.pathname; I believe we need to use the JavaScript replace function in combination with some regex but I'm at a complete loss as to what that would look like. • Php is stripping one letter "g" from my rtrim function but not other chars

  I'm trying to trim some youtube URLs that I am reading in from a playlist. The first 3 work fine and all their URLs either end in caps or numbers but this one that ends in a lower case g is getting trimmed one character shorter than the rest. for ($z=0; $z <= 3; $z++) { $ythref2 = rtrim($tubeArray["feed"]["entry"][$z]["link"][0]["href"], '&feature=youtube_gdata'); The URL is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuE88oVCVjg&feature=youtube_gdata .. and it should get trimmed down to .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuE88oVCVjg but instead it is coming out as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuE88oVCVj. I think it may be the ampersand symbol but I am not sure.

  Hello Stack Overflow! This is my first post, so please be gentle. I've been playing around with C from time to time in the past. Now I've gotten to the point where I've started a real project (a 2D graphics engine using SDL, but that's irrelevant for the question), to be able to say that I have some real C experience. Yesterday, while working on the event system, I ran into a problem which I couldn't solve. There's this typedef, //the void parameter is really an SDL_Event*. //but that is irrelevant for this question. typedef void (*event_callback)(void); which specifies the signature of a function to be called on engine events. I want to be able to support multiple event_callbacks, so an array of these callbacks would be an idea, but do not want to limit the amount of callbacks, so I need some sort of dynamic allocation. This is where the problem arose. My first attempt went like this: //initial size of callback vector static const int initial_vecsize = 32; //our event callback vector static event_callback* vec = 0; //size static unsigned int vecsize = 0; void register_event_callback(event_callback func) { if (!vec) __engine_allocate_vec(vec); vec[vecsize++] = func; //error here! } static void __engine_allocate_vec(engine_callback* vec) { vec = (engine_callback*) malloc(sizeof(engine_callback*) * initial_vecsize); } First of all, I have omitted some error checking as well as the code that reallocates the callback vector when the number of callbacks exceed the vector size. However, when I run this code, the program crashes as described in the code. I'm guessing segmentation fault but I can't be sure since no output is given. I'm also guessing that the error comes from a somewhat flawed understanding on how to declare and allocate an array of pointers to function pointers. Please Stack Overflow, guide me.

• C# iterator is executed twice when composing two IEnumerable methods

  I just started learning about C# iterator but got confused with the flow of the program after reading the output of the program. The foreach with uniqueVals seems to be executed twice. My understanding is that the first few lines up to the line before "Nums in Square: 3" should not be there. Can anyone help to explain why this happens?   Well, when I'm trying to use 'inclusion' in Django, I met some confused problems that I can't solve it by myself. There is the structures for my project. MyProject--- App1--- __init__.py models.py test.py urls.py views.py App2--- ... template--- App1--- some htmls App2--- ... templatetags--- __init__.py inclusion_test.py manage.py urls.py __init__.py settings.py I have registered templatetags folder in the settings.py (Both in Installed APPS & TEMPLATE_DIRS). But when I want to use {% load inclusion_test %} in my html, it raise an exception like this: 'inclusion_cld_tags' is not a valid tag library: Could not load template library from django.templatetags.inclusion_cld_tags, No module named inclusion_cld_tags I think there is nothing wrong with my import work, how can I do with that? • Django and mod_python intermittent error?

  I have a Django site at http://sm.rutgers.edu/relive/af_api/index/. It is supposed to display "Home of the relive APIs". If you refresh this page many times, you can see different renderings. 1) The expected page. 2) Django "It worked!" page. 3) "ImportError at /index/" page. If you scroll down enough to ROOT_URLCONF part, you will see it says 'relive.urls'. But apparently, it should be 'af_api.urls', which is in my settings.py file. Since these results happen randomly, is it possible that either Django or mod_python is working unstably?

  I was curious if anyone knew of a way of monitoring a .Net application's runtime info (what method is being called and such) and injecting extra code to be run on certain methods from a separate running process. say i have two applications: app1.exe that for simplicity's sake could be class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { while(true){ Somefunc(); } } static void Somefunc() { Console.WriteLine("Hello World"); } } and I have a second application that I wish to be able to detect when Somefunc() from application 1 is running and inject its own code, class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { while(true){ if(App1.SomeFuncIsCalled) InjectCode(); } } static void InjectCode() { App1.Console.WriteLine("Hello World Injected"); } } So The result would be Application one would show Hello World Hello World Injected I understand its not going to be this simple ( By a long shot ) but I have no idea if it's even possible and if it is where to even start. Any suggestions ? I've seen similar done in java, But never in c#. EDIT: To clarify, the usage of this would be to add a plugin system to a .Net based game that I do not have access to the source code of.

  I need to map to create controller what must response to two urls: "http://localhost/api/controller?id=1" (where only id value can change) "http://localhost/api/controller/anotherId/someconst" (where anotherId is the only one changing part) i map it to such route: routes.MapHttpRoute("Test", "api/{controller}/{id}/{someconst}", new { controller = "Test", someconst = RouteParameter.Optional }); And have to methods in my controller: public void Get(int id) { ... } public void Get(int anotherId, string someconst ) { ... } It works...But it doesn't look nice...cause "string someconst" is not a param, it's just a const part of url. But if i remove "string someconst" param second url wouldn't work. Is it possible to map one controller to two routes to resolve this urls to make it clear without fake param which is a const in fact?

  hi I want to generate unique id's everytime i call methode generateCustumerId(). The generated id must be 8 characters long or less than 8 characters. This requirement is necessary because I need to store it in a data file and schema is determined to be 8 characters long for this id. Option 1 works fine. Instead of option 1, I want to use UUID. The problem is that UUID generates an id which has to many characters. • Retrieving Windows Mobile browser history

  How can I retrieve a list of urls a user has visited on a Windows Mobile phone? I've written a program that successfully retrieves the visited urls in a user's cache, using FindFirstUrlCacheEntry and FindNextUrlCacheEntry - but as I understand it this is not the same as the user's actual web history. In any case it does not seem to give correct results. Edit: I believe the file I'm looking for is index.dat. But it's certainly not in the same place it is on a desktop machine, if it exists at all. And I'm not sure how to parse it. Any experience in this area would be greatly appreciated.

• No Hibernate Exception on the same insert of data

  Hi All, Hibernate Newbie here. I am quite unsure why I am not getting any exception when I am executing below code. On first attempt, this code creates the Book Entry on my Book Table. But my concern is that when I execute below code again, no error was pop out by Hibernate. • Dependency Properties, change notification and setting values in the constructor

  Hello, I have a clas with 3 dependency properties A,B,C. The values of these properties are set by the constructor and every time one of the properties A, B or C changes, the method recalculate() is called. Now during execution of the constructor these method is called 3 times, because the 3 properties A, B, C are changed. Hoewever this isn't necessary as the method recalculate() can't do anything really useful without all 3 properties set. So what's the best way for property change notification but circumventing this change notification in the constructor? I thought about adding the property changed notification in the constructor, but then each object of the DPChangeSample class would always add more and more change notifications.   I am getting a lot of incoming requests with this structure: //domain_name/cache/22092e9b25c40809dfb94b6179166b26. I am running a .NET 4.0 website served from IIS 7.5. A lot of these URLs have no referrer URLs and come in randomly with a different 32 digit alphanumeric key. And I do not have any resource like '.../cache/...' on my website. I just want to eliminate such requests and want to understand where these are coming from at all. Any help would be appreciated.

• Django 404 pages not appearing?

  I want to add a 404 page on my Django site. I've created a template, 404.html, and saved it in the root of my /templates directory. I've also made sure that the from django.conf.urls.defaults import * line is included at the top of urls.py. I've set DEBUG to False. (I've been following these instructions.) However, if I try to go to a page that I know doesn't exist - whether a made-up URL or a view specifically designed to do get_object_or_404 - the 404 page doesn't appear: I just get Chrome's standard 'Oops! This link appears to be broken' page. Oddly, I also have a 500.html template in the same place and that is appearing just fine if I generate a 500 error. What might the problem be?

  Hi guys, I have started to work on a site without url rewriting. Now, the request is to use friendly urls so i started to use Intelligencia.UrlRewriter. Let's take an example: I have a method: public static string getCategoriesIndexLink(string category) { string baseUrl = getBaseUrl() + (String)HttpContext.GetGlobalResourceObject("Paths", "categorii.index"); return baseUrl.AddQueryParam(CQueryStringParameters.CATEGORY, category); } which build this kind of urls "~/Site/Categorii.aspx?category=$1" Now i've added the following rule in web.config: <rewrite url="~/Site/Categorii/(.+)" to="~/Site/Categorii.aspx?category=$1" /> The question is HOW i can make the above method to build that kind of nice url? So no longer return "~/Site/Categorii.aspx?category=m1" but "~/Site/Categorii/m1" without beeing needed to modify its structure? I mean, i have about 30 methods like the one from the above; it would be extremely helpfull if i can be guided to use a regex at the output of the methods iso modifying the url construction...   I'm using Joomla in combination with Nginx, and I'm currently trying to achieve some URL rewriting for a website that has several langages supported (italian, french, chinese, and deutch) The urls have the country code after the domain name, like so : http://www.example.com/fr/test/test.html or http://www.example.com/de/test/test.html I'm looking to rewrite the urls so the country code is part of the subdomain : so http://www.example.com/fr/test/test.html becomes http://fr.example.com/test/test.html Is there a way to achieve this with Nginx or should I look into a third party extension for Joomla (not my favorite choice). Anyway, I have 3 domains that look like this: class A { ... static hasMany = [ b : B ] ... } class B { ... static belongsTo = [ a : A ] static hasMany = [ c : C ] ... } class C { ... static belongsTo = [ b : B ] ... } In my GSP page, I call an action in the Controller via a remote function in a javascript block (I'm using Dojo so I'm passing data to be saved this way... it's not a form per se so I use JSON for now to pass the data to the Controller). Let's say, I'm calling something like this: def someAction = { def jsonArr = [parse the JSON here] def tmpA = A.get(params.id) ... def tmpB = new B() b.someParam = jsonArr.someParam ... def tmpC = new C() tmpC.cParam = jsonArr.cParam tmpB.addToC(tmpC) tmpB.save(flush: true) //this may or may not be here but I'm adding it for the sake of completeness tmpA.addToB(tmpB) tmpA.save(flush: true) // NOTE: If I check here via println or whatnot, tmpA has a tmpB which has a tmpC... in other words, the data got saved. It's also in the DB. redirect(action: 'order' ...) } Then comes the fun part. Here's the webflow sample: def orderFlow = { ... someStateIShouldEndUpIn { on("next") { // or on previous... doesn't matter def anId = params.id def currA = A.get(anId) // this does NOT return a null value def testB = currA.b // this DOES return a null value }.to("somePage") ... } ... } Any ideas on why this happens? Moreover, when I dump the data of currA, b=null... instead of b=[] or b=[contents of tmpB]. Any help would be seriously appreciated... been at this for a couple of days now... Thanks!
