  In my controller i am returning list of my object with specific property: public ActionResult Index() { List<MyObject> list = db.MyObjects.Where(x => x.family == "Web").ToList(); ViewBag.Files = new SelectList(list, "Id", "protocol"); return View(); } This is my object: public class MyObject { public int id { get; set; } public string fileName { get; set; } public string browser { get; set; } public string protocol { get; set; } public string family { get; set; } } Index.cshtml: @Html.DropDownList("File", new SelectList(ViewBag.Files, "Id", "protocol_site"), "Select webmail site", new { style = "vertical-align:middle;" }) And i try to made 2 changes with no succeed: Remove all the duplication protocol from my DropDownListfor exapmle if i have 10 objects : 9 is doc protocol and 1 pdf i wand to see in my DropDownList only 2 items: DOC and PDF and not all the 10 items. • PHP is truncating MSSQL Blob data (4096b), even after setting INI values. Am I missing one?

  I am writing a PHP script that goes through a table and extracts the varbinary(max) blob data from each record into an external file. The code is working perfectly, except when a file is over 4096b - the data is truncated at exactly 4096. I've modified the values for mssql.textlimit, mssql.textsize, and odbc.defaultlrl without any success.   I'm trying to use an API which sends a fax. • Serving files (800MB) results in an empty file

  When we buy a large qty of Lotto tickets, is there a way to read all those numbers into a spreadsheet so that they can be checked against the winning numbers thru formulas/macros? I am looking for an OCR application that can read the scanned PDF/JPG file and dump them into a file. (This might apply not only to Lotto, but also to other scanned documents.) As for checking for winning numbers, I know how to do it once I have them in a CSV/XLS file.

  In the GIMP image editor, as with many other computer graphics, the origin coordinates (0,0) are in the upper left corner of the image. I'm doing work with PDF documents which go by the mathematical origin of (0,0) being in the lower left corner. I'd like to flip the y-axis ruler in the gimp so that the origin is in the lower left corner. Is it possible to do this? Thanks!

  We've been having significant network slowdown issues over the past few weeks, primarily on a Friday morning. We run Windows 7 client machines, with Windows Server 2008 R2 servers. What generally happens is the network starts to slow down massively at 08:55 and resumes normal speeds at around 09:20 This affects everything on the network from logging on, resetting passwords, opening programs and files etc. On my client machine, Physical Memory usage remains at around 40% (normal) and CPU usage hovers around 0-10% idle. The servers show memory usage spikes massively and remains quite intense during the times mentioned above. I have taken several wireshark captures, both during the slowdown and when the network operates fine. One of the main things I noticed is the increase in SMB2 entries in the wireshark log during the slowdown. One of the interesting things to note is the last entry in the examples above is for a PDF file. That file was not open anywhere on my computer, or on anyone elses. No folders with the files in were open either. When I took another capture when the network was running fine, there were hardly any SMB2 entries, and the ones that were displayed were mainly from Wireshark. We currently have around 800 computers, 90 Macs and 200 Laptops and Netbooks. Our concern is if this traffic is happening on my computer, is it happening on other computers, and if so, would those computers be adding to the slow network issues? Again, this only happens during certain times. We're pretty sure its not the our antivirus. Is there anything to narrow down whats initializing this SMB traffic during the particular times? Or if anyone has any extra advice, or links to resources it would be appreciate.

• Display size comparison chart?

  I am in the process of collecting laptop recommendations for a friend. I need a way to show to her the size differences of the various formats (15" 4:3, 15" 16:9, 15" 16:10 .... up to 17.3") in a graphical way, so she can compare them to the laptop she currently has (15"). Does anybody know a simple comparison chart where those sizes are shown side-by-side? We have E-Mail connection only right now, so I would need some sort of a link or PDF document.

• running csync2 in stand-alone server mode gives error

  I installed csync2 on two ubuntu node as documentation in http://oss.linbit.com/csync2/paper.pdf. when i use a one-shot command csync2 -xv every thing goes well. but when i try to run csync2 in stand-alone server mode i get error: Server error: Address already in use. i searched over net and no documentation found on this problem, even tracing code and grep in files didn't get any result of problem source. do you have any idea?
