  • Override the Local module directory for cvs using Hudson

    Hi guys, I'm using Hudson and I need to change the checkout directory for cvs. Instead of checkout/update the project under the workspace dir, I'd like to specify a dir (as you can do for svn, changing the Local module directory conf) that will match the cvs tree structure. Eg. under cvs dir1/dir2/project on my box workspace/dir1/dir2/project is that possible with cvs and Hudson? Maybe there's a way to override the cvs call? Thanks! Roberto

  • Problem making local copy of a webpage

    I want to run this chrome experiment locally. I copied the .html and .js files, along with the two .jpgs that the demo uses. However, when I run it off my local drive, Chrome gives this error: light.js:89 - Uncaught Error: SECURITY_ERR: DOM Exception 18 Line 89 returns the image data from the canvas after drawing the image to it. What's causing this security exception? It seems to not be Chrome-specific, as Firefox gives the same error.

Also a coin has two sides,so I'm doubting how do we say which table is the foreign key side or local key side?

    Hi Guys, How do you generally proceed for your package installations on Linux, for packages that are not part of your distrib's repos? On my side I am used to install in /opt. But since, I saw this doc on the Internet: http://www.pathname.com/fhs/. Now I am confused: apparently /usr/local would be also a possibility. What is the difference between both?     The local help in Visual Studio 2005 never comes back with anything. Also, if I'm not connected to the Internet, of course I get nothing. When I run dexplore eventually it takes 100% of cpu. Also, the F1 help doesn't work (of course). I've repaired both VS 2005, MSDN in other orders. Any help will be appreciated! THanks -tim

    Hi, in one of our applications we're using alocal RDLC-report (displaying using a ReportViewer control) to print some tables and text entered by the user. We'd like to give the user the ability of formatting the text. I thought I might use the respective WPF controls (embedded into the Windows Forms application) to make things easy.
