• Parasing HTML to find specific links (Without Keywords)

  I posted about this sort of earlier, but I am not sure how to post back to my original question as I can only comment or answer my own question. Anyways, I need to get 4 links from a website, the latest stable build links for windows and linux, and the latest development build links for windows and linux (4 links total) within my C++ application. I can download the page (http://www.sourcemod.net/snapshots.php) with LibCURL which is already implemented in the project, but after that I am not sure. I was looking at parsers, but I can't think of how I am going to discern link from link. Obviously using a parser I could get the first link from each table, but this does not seem efficient and would only provide me with the links to windows builds. It looks like the links I need will be in the fourth in both tables, but I am just very familiar with a good way to go about this, so any help would be appreciated.

The div is styled with the height and width of the image, with the overflow (the second image) hidden. The second image is below the first, and the slideshow is meant to go from RIGHT to LEFT. My inquiry is twofold: 1) Is there a more efficient way of doing this? 2) How would I animate the images? Would I need to put the second image on the right of the first with CSS somehow, and then set a timer to pull the images (via a style) leftward?

  i'm a C# developer and i have a trouble with Entity Framework 5. I have mapped my database with Entity using the default code generation strategy. In particolar there are three classes: menus, submenus and submenuitems. The relationships about three classes are: one menu - to many submenus one submenu - to many submenuitems. All classes have a boolean attribute called "Active". Now, i want to filter all the Menus with the SubMenus active, and the SubMenus with the SubMenuItems active.   Is there any way in JSF 2.0/PrimeFaces of re-rendering all components (using the PrimeFaces update="id1 id2..." attribute or the <f:ajax render="..."/> tag) that have got a given ID, regardless of whether they are in the same form that contains the button triggering the AJAX re-render or not? For example, I want my button to re-render all sections on a page that visualize the user's current shopping basket. Right now, I always have to specify the absolute path to the components that I want to get updated, e.g. update=":header:basket :left-sidebar:menu:basket" which is rather impractical if the structure of the page changes (besides, I have not been able to figure out the correct path for one of these components). I already tried to implement a custom EL function like this, which traverses the component tree: update="{utilBean.findAllComponentsMatchingId('basket')}" but at the time that function is evaluated, apparently not the entire component tree has been set up as it doesn't contain the components I am looking for. How can I deal with this? There certainly must be an easy way of doing AJAX-based updates of sections of the page that are not part of the current <h:form>? Thanks!

I have a dynamic dns account where I map my machine's dynamic IP to an address say, www.xxx.yyy.net Now, I have registered another short domain name say www.yyy.com, the hosting is on a linux server. Now, my machine is actually a webserver which runs .net website which can be accessed by www.xxx.yyy.net I need my homepage(index.php) in my www.yyy.com handle the redirection in a way that the pages to be loaded from www.xxx.yyy.net/.... but it should look in the browser as www.yyy.com/... Is there any way to do this using php?

  On several occations, I have faced the situation that the default.aspx page on a Site doesn't work. More specifically, a reference to a WebPart and/or Control is throwing a error because the assembly is not found. Fine, you just fire up the dreaded SharePoint Designer and remove the dependency line. However, if I wanted to use this method when not having SharePoint Designer, how could this be done? EDIT: Removing the web part using the "?contents=1" web part management page didn't help in my case. The <%@Register tag was still there and had to be removed using SharePoint Designer.

"" : "alternate" %>"> <!-- table cells in here --> </tr> </ItemTemplate> With the following CSS: tr.alternate { background-color: #EFF5FB; } I have just gone through the ASP.NET MVC Movie Database Application tutorial and learnt that in MVC-land table rows can be (must be?) constructed as follows: <% foreach (var item in Model) { %> <tr> <td> <%= Html.Encode(item.Title) %> </td> <!-- and so on for the rest of the table cells... --> </tr> <% } %> What can I add to this code to stripe the rows of my table? Note: I know that this can be done using jQuery, I want to know if it can be done another way. Edit If jQuery (or equivalent) is in your opinion the best or most appropriate post, I'd be interested in knowing why.

  Hi guys, I'm working on my first app that's doing a few different web connections at once. My first screen is my Menu. And at the bottom of viewDidLoad of MenuViewController i call a method that gets and parses a .xml file that is located on my webserver. Also at the bottom of viewDidLoad i do FootballScores = [[FootBallScores alloc] init]; and FootballScores makes a connection to a html page which it loads into a string and then parses out data. Now since both of these are getting called at the bottom of viewDidLoad of the class thats is responsible for the main menu(first screen in the app) it means the app is kinda slow to load. What is the right way to do the above? Should i remove the 2 pieces of code from my viewDidLoad and replace with maybe dataGetterOne = [NSTimer scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:1.000 target:self selector:@selector(xmlParser) userInfo:nil repeats:NO]; dataGetterTwo = [NSTimer scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:2.000 target:self selector:@selector(htmlParser) userInfo:nil repeats:NO]; This would mean that the methods get called later on and the viewDidLoad gets to finish before the i try get the data from the web servers. Making 2 connections to we bservers a second apart to quick? Can the iphone handle having 2 connections open at once? I'm really unsure of anything bad/dangerous I am doing in regards to connections.   I am creating a WIN32 application and I want most of all my application events to be made through the message queue. But everytime I create a dialog box or any resource like that. The IDE auto generates code that I don't necessarily need. Just down vote me if not :p Basically, what I'm looking for is a way to push a windows hotkey and have whatever text is in the clipboard be stripped of formatting. An example of what the macro could do: I push (whatever hotkey combo here) open notepad.exe Paste to notepad from clipboard Select all text in notepad Copy/Cut all text from notepad Close notepad I'm just wondering if someone has done something like this before, or knows how it could be accomplished. I think this could be a huge time-saver for almost anyone. I find myself doing this all the time when cutting and pasting between different office applications, etc.

  Hello, Our inHouse tech have installed our own app to some of our iPods 3.x devices. Now, we have to update that app but WIHTOUT LOSING the data that has been entered by users. The problem is that the computer who installed those app and syncronyzed, isn't working now, and when we try to update them from another computer, iTunes insist in deleting ALL apps and documents app from iPods and add the new ones. I suppose that this action will erase ALL documents from the app, so we will lose the data. What can we do ? thanks, m. ps. those devices have currently an AdHoc profile

  How can I declare a field, in the Rails model, when it doesn't have any "has_" relations, or validations, or delegations? I just need to ensure its existence and column width in the schema. Currently, I have no mention of the field in the "schema section" of the model file, but it's referenced in various methods that use it, and this seems to work. However, depending on my exact creation workflow, the underlying database table may be created as t.binary "field_name", :limit => 32 or t.binary "field_name", :limit => 255 This is not a restriction on the value (any binary value is valid, even NULL), only on the table column declaration. As it happens, 32 is enough -- it never receives any larger value, it's only ever written to like this: self.field_name = SecureRandom.random_bytes(32)

• Using ASP.NET Redirect without string URL?

  For instance, what I have right now is the following: Page.Response.Redirect("Default.aspx", false); Needing to hardcode the string just seems odd to me. The Default.aspx page is already in my project. So is there a way to do the redirect something like the following: Page.Response.Redirect(Default.aspx, false); Where Default.aspx is just the web form. I'd think that this way it would be obvious if there was a problem such as you deleted the web form but didn't update the redirects. Is this possible? Or is there another way entirely I should be looking at this? I suppose I could do something with a static property on the class, but I am wondering if there is a built in thing for this?

  In my program I frequently need to print various JComponents (generally JPanels) and I like them to be full-page. The way I do it now is by using the following code: g2d.scale(pf.getImageableWidth()/componentToPrint.getWidth(), pf.getImageableHeight()/componentToPrint.getHeight()); but this often stretches or otherwise deforms whatever I am trying to print, and I would much prefer to do something that re-sized intelligently, perhaps a functional version of: componentToPrint.setSize(pf.ImageableWidth(), pf.ImageableHeight); or say adding the component into a new JFrame and then setting the frame size (problem is components can't exist in two place at once). I wouldn't care if the resizing would make the rest of the GUI look terrible, as long as it is something that can easily be reset. Is there any way to do this?

Every element on my page is a draggable div with option to be removed from page if necessary. These divs in the code are before div, which was removed, and their absolute top is changed by -heghtOfRemovedElement Is there any way to prevent other elements from moving up?

  I want to automate the execution of Maven release:prepare with Perl so that the user doesn't have to answer the prompts for version names etc. Are there a -D arguments that can be supplied so that no prompting is done? I tried the obvious solution which is to feed the prompt answers to mvn via perl code like this: my $cmd = qq(mvn release:prepare -DautoVersionSubmodules=true-DpreparationGoals="clean install"); open MVN, "| $cmd"; print MVN "\n"; # default print MVN "$cur_version"; print MVN "\n"; print MVN "$next_version"; print MVN "\n"; close MVN; but mvn ignores such input and winds up using the defaults (and doesn't prompt either). • Prism for Silverlight: How to maintain views in a specific order inside a region.

  Hi I am creating sort of a "Navigation panel" (which is actually an ItemControl) for SL and using Regions to allow each module to add his link to the panel. Problem is that modules loading is inconsistent and thus order of links in the panel can change according to modules loading order. Restricting the modules order is out of the question. Other feasible option is the order the region's Views Collection that is binded to the ItemControl, the problem is that ViewCollection is very limited, so ordering it is pretty hard.
