    Hi, Im using ApnsPHP for push notifications on my server, but it's a little bit slow when you have to send a lot of notifications, so i decided to Run it in the server mode. I just want it to run in cron every 1 hour, check if there are some notifications to be sent, and if yes, run it in 5 processes to be faster. I'm sending updates to my users once a day depending on the timezone they set. So i have to run it every hour, and send messages to timezones that actually have 12:00 PM. Is there any way to do this? I know there is a demonstration but i just have no clue about how to do it. A simple sample will really help. Thank you millions!!

  • Gmail rejects emails. Openspf.net fails the tests

    I've got a problem with Gmail. It started after one of our trojan infected PCs sent spam for one day from our IP address. We've fixed the problem, but we got into 3 black lists. We've fixed that, too. But still every time we send an email to Gmail the message is rejected: So I've checked Google Bulk Sender's guide once again and found an error in our SPF record and fixed it. Google says everything should become fine after some time, but this doesn't happen. 3 weeks already passed but we still can't send emails to Gmail. Our MX setup is a bit complex, but not too much: We have a domain name delo-company.com, it has it's own mail @delo-company.com (this one is fine, but the problems are with sub-domain name corp.delo-company.com). Delo-company.com domain has several DNS records for the subdomain: corp A 82.209.198.147 corp MX 20 corp.delo-company.com corp.delo-company.com TXT "v=spf1 ip4:82.209.198.147 ~all" (I set ~all for testing purposes only, it was -all before that) These records are for our corporate Exchange 2003 server at 82.209.198.147. Its LAN name is s2.corp.delo-company.com so its HELO/EHLO greetings are also s2.corp.delo-company.com. To pass EHLO check we've also created some records in delo-company.com's DNS: s2.corp A 82.209.198.147 s2.corp.delo-company.com TXT "v=spf1 ip4:82.209.198.147 ~all" As I understand SPF verifications should be passed in this way: Out server s2 connects to MX of the recepient (Rcp.MX): EHLO s2.corp.delo-company.com Rcp.MX says Ok, and makes SPF check of HELO/EHLO. It does NSlookup for s2.corp.delo-company.com and gets the above DNS-records. TXT records says that s2.corp.delo-company.com should be only from IP 82.209.198.147. So it should be passed. Then our s2 server says RCPT FROM: Rcp.MX` server checks it, too. The values are the same so they should also be positive. Maybe there is also a rDNS check, but I'm not sure what is checked HELO or RCPT FROM. Our PTR record for 82.209.198.147 is: 147.198.209.82.in-addr.arpa. 86400 IN PTR s2.corp.delo-company.com. To me everything looks fine, but anyway all emails are rejected by Gmail. So, I've checked MXtoolbox.com - it says everything is fine, I passed http://www.kitterman.com/spf/validate.html Python check, I did 25port.com email test.     I have datagrid with list of MyPlayer objects linked to ItemsSource, there are ComboBoxes inside of grid that are linked to a list of inner object, and binding works correctly: when I select one of the item then its value is pushed to data model and appropriately updated in other places, where it is used. The only problem: initial selections are not displayed in my ComboBoxes. I don't know why..? Instance of the ViewModel is assigned to view DataContext.     Hi, I'm trying to send an email merging one document (docx) with a contacts database (via OleDB). Using MSWord2007, it seems easy (it works for easy things: name, address, ...) but I can't find how fill an query-get url string with a merge field inside an hyperlink. An hyperlink like: Click here where here is an hyperlink to http://domain.com/[email protected] where [email protected] is the address of the contact, a merge field. I've tried the special/merge fields: {HYPERLINK "http://domain.com/test.php?contact={MERGEFIELD contactEmail}" \o "Here"} but it doesn't work, sometimes it merge only the first record and then send all the mails with the same address, I got this alternating the view with ALT+F9. This support doc doesn't work for me because I don't have the complete URL in my database for each contact, and I can't change the design of the table or add a view (it's from the CRM), I don't like to do it exporting the table and adding the field.   • How can something like BOSH be implemented using Java Servlets

    BOSH (Bidirectional-streams Over Synchronous HTTP) is a sneaky way of implementing 2-way client-server communication in situations where true server-push is not allowed, most obviously to let a server push data to a browser client without having to use client polling. It works by the client sending a request to the server, and the server doesn't respond immediately... rather it remembers the request but only responds when it has some data to send. When this happens the client immediately sends another request so there is virtually always a 'stored request' sitting on the server ready to push data to the client. At least, that's how I think it works! My question is how you can do this using a Java EE stack i.e standard servlets. I'm rusty with them, is it allowed to send no response and cache the request somehow? If anyone could share (pseudo) code what a servlet class for handling BOSH might look like, I'd be real grateful.

  • iPhone - Browsing iPhone files through computer

    I want to be able to send files from an iPhone app to a computer. What would be the easiest way of doing this? I've made simple server client programs before, but in those, the client has always needed to connect to the server before being able to receive messages from it. There is an app for the iPhone called iSimulate, where you put a server on a Mac (the iPhone simulator), and then you use the iSimulate app of an iTouch or iPhone to send touch events to the server. This app does not require you to type in an ip-address. Instead it presents a list of available computers that have this server up and running. How exactly is this being done? Can a server broadcast a message over a network, w/o anyone being connected to the server? How does that work? How does a client listen for that broadcast?     I've have an application with Android front end and Django as the back end. As part of the answers here, I'm confused over the approach which I should take to send images to Django Server. I've 2 options at my disposal as Piro pointed out there. 1) Sending images as Multi Part entity 2) Send image as a String after encoding it using Base 64. So I am considering the approach that would make it easy to be processed by Django. The images are small in size (<200kb) and number (<10). Any suggestions or pointers are most welcome.

    I know its not possible to define a constructor in a interface. But im wondering why, because i think i could be very useful. So you could be sure that some fields in a class are defined for every implementaiton of this interface. For example consider the following message class: public class MyMessage { public MyMessage(String receiver) { this.receiver = receiver; } private String receiver; public void send() { //some implementation for sending the mssage to the receiver } } If a define a Interface for this class so that i can have more classes which implement the message interface, i can only define the send method and not the constructor. So how can i assure that every implementation of this class really has an receiver setted? If i use a method like setReceiver(String receiver) i can't be sure that this method is really called. In the constructor i could assure it.

  • Using WSH (VBS) with iMacros - how do they do it?

    (iMacros For Firefox 6.6.5.0; Firefox 3.6.3; Windows XP Pro SP3 w/all updates) I made an iMacro to select "load next 25" (comments) on a web page (CNN.COM). Unfortunately, iMacros doesn't appear to do looping (do the above until that string doesn't appear on the page anymore - i.e. all the comments are loaded). I tried putting {!iloop} in the TAG command, and it didn't work - then I read it wouldn't. So I tried the example at http://wiki.imacros.net/Loop_after_Query_or_Login I can't find any information on how to actually run the script in the above example. I searched Google and found VBS scripting is handled with .wsh files with Windows XP Pro. (The examples and other references there say Windows does VBS natively, so I looked up how with Google.) I wasn't actually expecting it to work, as I don't see how Windows would know to call iMacros to run the iim macro. It would be nice if there was a simple, COMPLETE, example of how to use a VBS script with iMacros, that isn't bogged down with unnecessary complication like filling in a form, loading multiple pages, etc. I can't find ANY example. So what do I need to do to get this to work? I just installed iMacros yesterday, because I am constantly having the problem that there are hundred of comments after a CNN.com article, and loading 25 more at a time until they are all on the page makes it impractical to read any replies to my comments. It would also be nice if I could run the Macro from Firefox, rather than by double clicking on some file somewhere. Thanks for any help.

Currently I am trying to implement a simple application which can receive a text message sent by the user, fetch some information from the google search api, and return the results via text message to the user. This application will continue to listening to the users messages and reply immediately. How I get the text short message sent by the user? It's a program named fetion from the mobile supplier in China. The client side fetion, just like a instant communication tool, can send/receive messages to/from other people who are using mobile to receive/send SMS. I am using a open source python program that simulates the fetion program. So basically I can use this python program to communate with others who using cell phone via SMS. My core program is based on java, so I need to take this python program into java environment. I am using jython, and now I am available to send messages to users by some lines of java codes. But the real question is the process of receving from users via SMS. In python code, a new thread is created to continuously listen to the user.     We have spring 3.0.x based application, we use SimpleMappingExceptionResolver which sends emails on an exception, when the exception happens within the DispatcherServlet. This gives us following flexibility: Subject can include who the logged in user is, so that we can send personalized email to the user Subject also includes the server on which the error occurred The request params, request url, and headers -- helped us find some problems when search engine indexing the site. However, lately we have been finding the exceptions have been occurring in the filters, and since this is not going through the Resolver, we dont get any emails. We dont like the log4j email appender solution, and not writing another filter to send emails seems right. Is there an accepted pattern to resolve this issue

    I'm writing a small utility to capture all requests made to a web server from a windows application using the axWebBrowser control. So far I have the following working, as the user traverse the website clicking on links, posting forms etc I capture the webpage and the data being send to the server to request the next page. Where I run into a stumbling block is when it comes to Ajax calls. There are number of drop down boxes that filter down the selection as the user types in the search term, I would like to capture the page/script that is called and the data being send. Any hint, advice would be greatly appreciated.

    When I run this code via ssh echo wget http://domain.com/send_me_email.php | at 12:54 it run correctly and send me an email at that time. but if I run a php Like this exec("echo wget http://domain.com/send_me_email.php | at 12:54"); exec("atq",$arr); print_r($arr); result of that code is something like this : job 63 at 2011-11-27 12:54 ,As you can see the job created successfully but I don't receive any Email at that time?! I test this line in php exec("wget http://domain.com/send_me_email.php"); and it send me an email, it means that I have permission to run exec and wget via php.but what is problem? I cant understand what is my problem. Please help me. thanks

I understand that I can change a sql table using the follow sp: EXEC sp_rename 'customers', 'custs' How would I go about appending this so that the new table has today's date as a suffix? I've attempt variations on the below theme with little success!! EXEC sp_rename 'customers', 'customers +(CONVERT(VARCHAR(8),GETDATE(),3))' Any help greatly appreciated.
