  Hi, I have installed and played around with a few bug tracking apps, and just wanted to get some feedback and features that a typical (or not so typical) bug tracking software has. I want to make sure I am not overlooking a feature that might come in handy. So the biggest idea is around a bug, which is associated with: Bugs - product - product version - component (specific component of the product) - status - priority - assigned to - expected time to finish - time spent on it so far - created by - historical log of bug Forums Wiki I guess the above functionality is common to all, so what exactly differentiates them? Is it simply the UI and filtering/searching that you base a decision on? (I am comparing something like Jira with FogBugz)

• Retrieving a unique result set with Core Data

  I have a core data based app that manages a bunch of entities. I'm looking to be able to do the following. I have an entity "SomeEntity" with the attributes: name, type, rank, foo1, foo2. Now, SomeEntity has several rows if when we're speaking strictly in SQL terms. What I'm trying to accomplish is to retrieve only available types, even though each instance can have duplicate types. I also need them returned in order according to rank. I have come across CGPointMake to change x & y positions alone, but what should i use for changing width & height alone??. There's something called CGSizeMake but i am not able to make it work. • Want to set 'src' of script to my IP.

  I have a script that links to the server I am hosting (IP can change) usually I would just use for links: var url ='http://' + window.location.hostname + 'end of url'; But in this case it isnt appearing to be so easy. I have tried: (1) $('#scriptid').attr('src', url); as well as: (2) var script = document.createElement( 'script' ); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = url; $("#insert").append( script ); Now case (2) works loads the script runs the script. But when at the end of my script it hits the 'write data' it decides to replace the entire page with just the data. Any idea on how I can do this?

• Texture repeats even with GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE set [FIXED]

  Hi, i'm trying to put a translucing texture on a face which uses points 1 to 4 (don't mind the numbers) on the following screenshot Sadly as you can see the texture repeats herself in both dimensions, I tried to switch the TEXTURE_WRAP_S from REPEAT to CLAMP_to_EDGE but it doesn't change anything.   Hello, I'm using commons-httpclient-3.1 inside my android application. And I would like to know if it possible to manipulate Part (org.apache.commons.httpclient.methods.multipart.Part) dynamically?   So i have started building android from scratch and after lot of effort finally landed up to a point where i have the OUT folder consisting of all the required IMG files for an emulator to run. Like the system.img ramdisk.img userdata-qemu.img So after that i ran the emulator command so that means the OUT directory was valid and could easily be used to create any other bootable medium. What i want to accomplish Creating the iso file from all those img files found at the end of building process,or a way to just create an iso out of that complete OUT folder. any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

No matter what i put in that width attribute, i get the same size width tooltip which is about half of the width that i need. the height is perfectly fine. any ideas? is this a bug in the product ?

• IF/ELSE makes stored procedure not return a result set

  I have a stored procedure that needs to return something from one of two databases: IF @x = 1 SELECT @y FROM Table_A ELSE IF @x = 2 SELECT @y FROM Table_B Either SELECT alone will return what I want, but adding the IF/ELSE makes it stop returning anything. I tried: IF @x = 1 RETURN SELECT @y FROM Table_A ELSE IF @x = 2 RETURN SELECT @y FROM Table_B But that causes a syntax error. The two options I see are both horrible: Do a UNION and make sure that only one side has any results: SELECT @y FROM Table_A WHERE @x = 1 UNION SELECT @y FROM Table_B WHERE @x = 2 Create a temporary table to store one row in, and create and delete it every time I run this procedure (lots). Neither solution is elegant, and I assume they would both be horrible for performance (unless MS SQL is smart enough not to search the tables when the WHERE class is always false). Is there anything else I can do? Is option 1 not as bad as I think?

  I am afraid this is a brain fart question. But I have searched around and have not been able to find the answer. I am creating a GridView/DetailsView page. I have a grid that displays a bunch of rows, when a row is selected it uses a DetailsView to allow for Insert/Update. My question is what is the best way to link these? I do not want to reach out to the web service again, all the data i need is in the selected grid view row. I basically have 2 separate data sources that share the same "DataObjectTypeName", the first data source retrieves the data, and the other to do the CRUD. What is the best way to transfer the Selected Grid View row to the Details View?   Is there a way of setting or overriding the default DateTime format for an entire application. I am writing an app in C# .Net MVC 1.0 and use alot of generics and reflection. Would be much simpler if I could override the default DateTime.ToString() format to be "dd-MMM-yyyy". I do not want this format to change when the site is run on a different machine. Edit - Just to clarify I mean specifically calling the ToString, not some other extension function, this is because of the reflection / generated code. Would be easier to just change the ToString output.

  I'm moving my application from 3.x to 4.x as I prepare for the app store and found that I need to have 2 copies of all my custom pngs - my question is how can I determine what img to show and when. Example - how do I know to show the Find.png vs the [email protected] Is it "safe" or "correct" to look for 4.x specific apis or does the iphone have a way to determine what platform you are on at runtime?
