  How do I open a link in a new tab in the extension HTML. E.g. clicks on icon sees Google chrome window which has the window.html inside there are two links, one link to open a link in a new tab, other in the original tab. I used window.location, doesn't work like that.

  This is a pretty simple question- how can I check if a NSURL is linking to a local file? I know, RTFM, but I checked the documentation and I don't seem to see any methods related to this. The only methods I did find were -isFileReferenceURL and -isFileURL, but I think these only check if the URL directly links to a file. note: I'm making an iPhone app, so by "local file" I mean a .html file stored in the project's resources.   Hi, I need to implement browser plugin which can register it's own protocol (like someprotocol://someurl ) and be able to handle calls to this protocol (like user clicking on 'someprotocol' link calls function inside my plugin). As far as I undesrtand Skype does something simmilar, except I need to handle links within page context and not in separated app. Any advices on how this can be done? Can this be done without installing my own plugin, with help of flash/java?

  My problem is that a vendor is providing me with a 64bit application (packed in a 64bit installer) but it goes and installs to the x86 (Program Files) Folder and he keeps telling me its OK but I want it to install in the Program Files directory; as the 32 bit version does that and scripts for the app are developed based on this assumption. Can someone direct me to the Microsoft recommended best practices for 64bit applications(links). Thanks in advance.

• Does calling a click method effect the HtmlPage object if there is a 404?

  If I call a click method on a HtmlAnchor, and say that page returns a 404, does that mean the HtmlPage will effect, so searching for another link on the page will result in an error because the page's HTML is the error page (assuming the link is NOT on the error page). Can I manually set the page's HTML, and then locate and click on links and continue on from this approach? (other than connecting via a URL)

After someone logs in as User, they can click on links that send them away into the system and away from the users controller. This is an incredibly noob question, but how can I access that User's ID and other attributes from anywhere else, such as an unrelated view or unrelated controller?
