  • PHP object exchange between servers

    I got script what read from database and manipulate it so on the end I got $result array... on one server is it possible to serialize this object and pass it to other script so this $result array could be available for other script on second server... I got on first server: return serialize ( $results ); and on second: $data = unserialize ( file_get_contents ( 'http://www.......com/reader.php' ) ); ...but there is no communication between .... I am trying to make some thing like if(cmd.ExecuteNonQuery() !=true ) { MessageBox.Show("User Exists"); } But I dont know what returns cmd.ExecuteNonQuery() ? Or I must get records using reader in table and compare them with text in Textfiel?

    I'm a blind student currently in a system admin/shell programming class. Although ssh works fine for executing commands like ls, pwd, etc editors do not work well with my screen reader and an ssh session. I was wondering if it is possible to mount a Linux folder over ssh so it appears as a windows drive? This way I could edit any files I needed to with accessible software and not have to constantly use SCP to send files back and fourth.

    Hi, I have a webservice, in which I read the settings saved in an xml file. I read the setting by the following command: string dpath = HttpContext.Current.Request.PhysicalApplicationPath.ToString(); XmlTextReader reader = new XmlTextReader(dpath + "Settings.xml"); This is working perfectly when running the application on the localhost, but when I publish the webserver I am getting an error, most probably because the settings are not being loaded. Am I using the right command to read the file ? thanks

    im using a UIWebView to show html content in my app, the app contains two arrows to navigate between topics just like a RSS reader app, but when the user hits up or down arrow, the next topic doesn't show up until the data come back and the user still able to interact with the UI which is a bit confusing, My question: how to block the UI when user moves to the next/back topic ? in other words how to make loadHTMLString:baseURL: works as a synchronous calling ? thanks !

  • Fix indention in Visual Studio when pasting from eBook

    Hi All, Every time I paste code from an Adobe reader eBook into Visual Studio it ends up looking like the image below. The only way I know to fix it is to go on each and every line and manually tab/backspace it all back in order. Source formatting does nothing (EditAdvancedFormat Document) Anyone know how to fix the indention in this scenario?     I'm writing an application where I need to read blocks in from a single file, each block is roughly 512 bytes. I am also needing to write blocks simultaneously. One of the ideas I had was BlockReader implements Runnable and BlockWriter implements Runnable and BlockManager manages both the reader and writer. The problem that I am seeing with most examples that I have found was locking problems and potential deadlock situations. Any ideas how to implement this?

  • Blank black screen with cursor after login -- RHEL5

    I have a RHEL 5 machine here which is a Dell Precision T3500. I'm an Ubuntu guy, but I'm having a heck of a time with this machine. After processing its first security update, we cannot log in via the gdm greeter. A new kernel was installed; then I installed the nVidia drivers for our Quadro NVS 295. I know the X configuration is valid because the gdm greeter does display; however, upon login all we can get is a blank, black screen with a cursor. I thought perhaps our python installation was corrupted but a reinstall via yum has not helped. I have searched & googled extensively for a potential fix for this and can find nothing. Below are outputs from uname, a tail of an error in /var/log/messages, and the Xorg.conf. Can anyone suggest a course of action?   • TFS 2008 Web Access Report 100 record limitation

    By default TFS 2008 Web Access has the limit of 100 record when you open any query in report mode. Even if you tried to export the query to excel or PDF you will only get first 100 record exported. To overcome this issue, you have to reconfigure this count in the web.config file Navigate to web access files C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team System Web Access\Wiwa Open web.config modify maxWorkitemsInReportList count to whatever count you need.
