How to Find more than one string with Excel with the graphical interface?
For example, I am looking for the cells which is contained both strings Paul and John?
I am trying to create a .vcf file programmatically in C#, and writing a bunch of strings in the correct format in that file. But when i try to open it manually, the following message appears. Could not start Microsoft Outlook.The file maynot exist, you may not have permission to open it, or it may be open in another program.
Any help!!!
Hi there .
I have a A=set of strings and a B=seperate string. I want to count the number of occurences in from B in A.
Example :
A:
10001
10011
11000
10010
10101
B:
10001
result would be 3.(10001 is a subset of 10001,10011,10101)
So i need a function that takes a set and string and returns an int.
int myfunc(set<string> , string){
int result;
// My Brain is melting
return result ;
}
Hi,
I'm wondering if someone knows how to store an array into a user session?
This is the method to store a single attribute:
$this->getUser()->setAttribute('something', $something);
And the documentation says:
"User attributes can store any type of data (strings, arrays, and associative arrays)"
... but doesn't say anything more. The API documentation doesn't have a "SetAttributes" or something similarly obvious.
Thank you.
I am attempting to make some data structures to solve a graph puzzle. I am trying to define an edge's comparison criteria, but I am not sure how. So far:
data Edge = Edge (Set String) Bool
How do I tell let the compiler know that I want edges to be declared equal if they have identical sets of strings, and not have equality have anything to do with the boolean value?
What I understand so far:
Business Delegate - In the presentation tier, as an ASP component, provides an interface for ASP views to access business components without exposing their API, therefore reducing coupling between the two.
Session Facade - In the business tier, as a com+ component, encapsulates business objects, provides a course grain interface for views to access business components. Reduces coupling, hides complex business component interaction from views.
So what is the actual difference? They seem pretty similar to me..
When i am using mysql_real_escape_string on my unescaped strings the data in the database is storing with the backslashes which should not happen.
I have magic_quotes_gpc OFF not sure why this is happening. Any idea ?
Is there any setting in the mysql database which needs to be modified.
I am not using addslashes any where in the code. PHP language.
Please help.
I've got quite a complex .Net 2.0 project to build (with VS 2010) which does not build without 2.0 version of System.ServiceModel.dll and does not run if compiled with .Framework 4.0. Can I install Net Framework 2.0 safely after 3.5 and 4.0? Or where can I download an old System.ServiceModel .dll assembly?
string queryString = "SELECT SUM(skupaj_kalorij)as Skupaj_Kalorij "
+ "FROM (obroki_save LEFT JOIN users ON obroki_save.ID_uporabnika=users.ID)"
+ "WHERE users.ID= " + a.ToString() + " AND obroki_save.datum =?";
using (OleDbCommand cmd = new OleDbCommand(queryString,database))
{
cmd.Parameters.Add("@datum", OleDbType.Char).Value = DateTime.Now.ToShortDateString();
}
Why doesn't the parametr datum get the date value? (the value of at least one complex parameter has not been determined )
Hi,
I need to figure out the value of data strings with jquery, for example like this:
{ label: "Beginner", data: 2},
{ label: "Advanced", data: 12},
{ label: "Expert", data: 22},
to add them up.
Something like:
var sum = data1+data2+data3;
alert(sum);
So the result for this example would be 36.
Appreciate your help!

Hi Everyone,
I'll be working on a project for instrumenting a relatively complex java application, and I'm planning to use java.lang.instrument to hook into the JVM and redefine classes before they're loaded.
What is your take on this package? Is it well supported across JVMs? Does it work well with Hotspot?
Thanks!
Hello
There are some simple entities in an application (e.g containing only id and title) which rarely change and are being referenced by the more complex entities of the application. These are usually entities such as Country, City, Language etc.
How are these called? I've used the following names for those in the past but I'm not sure which is the best way to call them:
reference data
lookup values
dictionaries
thanks
I have written a program to store a bunch of strings in a JFC hash table. There are defiantly collisions going on, but I don't really know how it is handling them. My ultimate goal is to print the number of occurrences of each string in the table, and traversing the bucket or list would work nicely. Or maybe counting the collisions? Or do you have another idea of how I could get a count of the elements?
Hello,
I've used an array of strings to populate a DataGridView.
How do I go about finding the most frequently occurring number?
Or, even better, order them by most frequently occuring?
Thank You.
I'm using BAS in a Cocoa app with a custom prompt for admin password...
But now I want to change the prompt. I changed it in the strings file and it doesn't change. I rebuilt everything and deleted the sockets in /var/run and the launchdaemon and privelegedhelpertools folders. But the prompt just won't change!!!
Help?
Hi,
I have a pom.xml that uses cxf-codegen-plugin to generate a couple of WS clients.
Inside the configuration of cxf-codegen-plugin, there are the WSDL locations.
I would like to externalize those strings to a env.properties file.
I used org.codehaus.mojo's properties-maven-plugin to look inside src/main/resources/conf/app/env.properties.
How can I make Hudson to replace those properties with the apropiate host?
Thanks in advance
I'm localizing my iPhone app for multiple languages, and in addition to changing some of the strings I need to change some backgrounds. Is it possible to query the iPhone and get the user's language code?
Thanks!
I have a variable $link_item, it's used with echo and gives the strings like
<span class="name">Google</span>http://google.com
How to remove "<span class="name">Google</span>" from string?
It should give just "http://google.com".
Heard it can be done with regex(), please help.
Hello,
I've just discovered Sikuli, and would like to see a comprehensive functions list without digging through the online-examples and demos.
Has anyone found such a list?
Furthermore, apparently Sikuli supports more complex loops and function calls as well, and seems to be based in Python(!!). Examples would be great.
Thanks.
We’ve got an interesting requirement that we’ll want to support multiple languages at runtime since we’re a service. If a user talks to us using Japanese or English, we’ll want to respond in the appropriate language. FxCop likes us to store our strings in resource files, but I was curious to know if there was an integrated way to select resource string at runtime without having to do it manually.
Bottom Line: We need to be able to support multiple languages in a single binary. :)
Hello,
I have a table structure that looks like this:
ID String
-----------
1 A
1 Test
1 String
2 Dear
2 Person
I need the final output to look like this:
ID FullString
--------------------
1 A, Test, String
2 Dear, Person
I am really lost on how to approach this... I looked on a couple examples online but they seemed to be VERY complex... this seems like it should be a real easy problem to solve in sql.
Thank you for all assistance!
I will be setting the current thread's culture at the beginning of the request lifecycle.
Does it make sense if I create my own resource.xml to store things like strings/labels/messages that will be used in the web application?
or are their drawbacks and its better if I just use the Global resources .resx files that are 'built-in' ?
I have a binary files which needs to be sent as a string to a third-party web-service. Turns out it requires that it needs to be base64 encoded.
In ruby I use the following:
body = body << IO.read("#{@postalcard.postalimage.path}")
body is a strong which conists of a bunch of strings as parameters.
So...how do I base64 encode it into this string?
Thanks.
Hi,
since the localStorage (currently) only supports strings as values and in order to that the objects have to be stringified (stored as JSON-string), before they can be stored, i wondered if there is a defined limitation regarding the length of the values.
Does anyone know if there is a definition which applies to all browsers, respectively does anyone know the limitations for Chrome5?
Thanks, in advance, for your help
Hi,
I need to call a very complex service (It's a HL7 service) it's taking a lot of unnecessary information.
To call from java I need to write all those information and its very time consuming.
I have sample XMLs, they have been filled with those unnecessary information, I just need to change 1 parameter and send it.
How can I use that already generated XML?
Thanks,
