All im trying to do is capture screen from iPhone camera on 3g mobile and sending them to server .. but want some time efficient approach for sending to server and capturing image sequences ... its like i want to send 15 images / second to server in one single go :P i've set up server with FFMPEG and other codecs so their is no issue in generation of live video / stream ....     Hi, I'm going to sell some video and music (which I have right to use and sell) in iPhone app. But I'm not sure whether this is allowed by Apple. The plan is to create a consumable in-app purchase product and ask user to pay it when visit the individual video page. After successful purchase, user can download or view it online without any limitation. Server side will also remember the purchase status so the user won't be asked to pay when he visit this vide page next time.   • How to achieve jQuery scrolling/overlay effect (video in description)

    I have two columns. The left column contains text of dynamic lengths. The right column is of fixed height and will contain a set of images selected at random per page load. I am trying to create an effect where while the user scrolls, the Image 2 scrolls above Image 1. When it reaches the top, the Image 1 begins to scroll up until it disappears, then Image 3 comes in and repeats the process. As this is rather confusing, I made a short video describing the desired effect. Video - MP4 I have begun trying to get it working in this jsbin but am at a loss for when the user scrolls back down and also when more images are required. I am thinking my current path is not the right direction. I'm thinking that employing something like jQuery waypoints is more the direction I should be pursuing?

  • youtube video will not display in desktop Chrome

    Youtube video does not show up in a modal window when viewed in a desktop version of Chrome. The modal window pops up but the youtube video does not. https://animalhealth.pfizer.com/sites/pahweb/US/EN/Products/Pages/ClarifideStories.aspx It works in IE and Firefox on Windows7, works in Chrome on Android ICS and iOS6 iPad. It is on a sharepoint site but if I open a version saved to my desktop it works fine in chrome.     I know how to upload images to a server running PHP, but I am stuck on uploading video. I have used this advice to upload my video file. Posting method is all ok. What I get on the server is a file of 0 bytes.   • How to set up the CNAME in DNS zone record to work with Unbounce

    I'm trying to run split testing on some landing pages I "designed" with Unbounce, but it requires that I set the CNAME record for my domain/sub-domain and I'm having trouble figuring out what is the right way to do it. My host is arvixe (www.arvixe.com) and their customer support has failed to help me for the past 5 days (I spoke to them multiple times). I followed the directions for setting the CNAME record and I was able to set the CNAME record, but I'm consistently unable to verify that the CNAME record is set up correctly. I followed the instructions on Unbounce to verify the CNAME record for my sub-domain (beta.devboost.com) and here are the results: No records found reverse lookup smtp diag port scan blacklist Reported by ns1.SNARE.arvixe.com on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 5:49:57 PM (GMT-6) Here is my DNS zone record from the control panel of my host (last record, CNAME unbouncepages.com): Is there something wrong with my DNS Zone Record?   • Creating a DNS Server

    OK, I am a complete newbie to all this, so please bear with me. I want to create a DNS Server (like Google does - 8.8.8.8). I understand that a DNS Server is a Server that gives a IP on being given a hostname, ie. when I ask it what is the IP of google.com, it says "64.233.160.0". So, what I want to do is create a similar one that holds records of what translates to what. I thought of this since it looks to be similar to a webserver - ask for a page and it gives back the page. That is, when my machine has the IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and people chose xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx as their Primary DNS Server, then when they ask "www.google.com", I sould be able to tell "64.233.160.0". So, how do I create this DNS Server that is accessible to everyone in the world ? It would be easier if we have something like EasyPHP which is the analogue to a webserver here. I am sorry if I have caused any trauma because this might seem rubbish to experts ;) Adhityaa

For having the website working i just need to change the DNS nameservers but i want to keep the email in the client's old server, is this possible?     I want to connect using FTP to my webpage hosted on ipages.com , but I always get this error on filezilla.: Status: Server does not support non-ASCII characters. Status: Connected Status: Retrieving directory listing... Command: PWD Response: 550 PWD: Permission denied Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing Error: Disconnected from server: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted It looks like the connection is established but then disconnects. Is it an issue with the host? I use the default port 21. The user-pass is working. And the ftp adress is ftp.mysite.com I tested the port 21 using netstat and I get 220 Ipage FTP Server Ready

    I am trying to run a local DNS server on my home computer so that I can both increase DNS lookups speed and reduce bandwidth use, so that both my laptop and my PC can do lookups faster. I have got BIND 9 running very smoothly, there is only one simple problem, and that being the fact that BIND is not a persistent DNS cache, and if I restart its service, the whole cash would be wiped out. So, is there a way that I could make BIND9 keep its cache after system restart? Also, which one is better Unbound or BIND? Which one would you suggest? Does Unbound DNS have a persistent cache or can it be enabled?

    I'm using Centos 5.2 and when I try to make a chroot jail using the script, I get: Copying libraries for /usr/bin/scp. (0x00007fff17bfe000) cp: cannot stat `(0x00007fff17bfe000)': No such file or directory ... I am currently using on a rackspace cloud server so i suspect that these dependencies are outside of my own root. Does anyone have a better idea for jailing the sftp server on a cloud server using Centos 5.2?

  • Problems during an update of cPanel / WHM

    I ordered a Master WHM account with the couple CentOS / cPanel. whm-cpanel.eu.pn The installation is a fresh update of the basic services was necessary (had: WHM 11.15.0 cPanel 11.17.0 WHM X v3.1.0, Apache 1.3.37, PHP 4.4.7, MySQL 4.1.22). 1 / I started to update cPanel / WHM via the command: / scripts / upcp. Everything went well until the middle of installing the server stopped responding (or ping, or ssh). The installation appears to have continued alone to the end and after some time everything is back to normal (I do not know if there was a reboot) and my interface was updated (cPanel 11.24.4-R36167 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9). 2 / Then I updated via the MySQL interface tweak this in WHM then the command: / scripts / mysqlup. Here everything went fine, no problem. 3 / Finally, I wanted to upgrade Apache 2.2 / PHP 5 and I used this command: / scripts / easyapache. After selecting all the packages and modules installation is started but the same as for point 1: the server did not answer more and this time the installation did not go through. Apache 2.2 is well spent (after the second try) but PHP has remained at 4. I tried several times the same operation without success. I do not think this is a memory problem, a free-m shortly before losing communications gave nothing alarming. By cons CPU time seemed to rise up. I reinstalled the machine again the trick, same problem! Whether via the WHM interface or by Shell, the installation stops short, for 15 minutes the machine is not responding and then everything returns to normal, but no update is done in PHP. Is there a known bug in this version of cPanel / WHM? Someone he met the same problem? If I compile Apache / PHP manually, without using the script easyapache is what I might encounter problems with cPanel later? Thank you!

    All new 11" netbooks seem to carry 1.33 GHz Atom Z520 CPU instead of 1.6/1.66 GHz Atom N270/N280. The screen resolution of 11" netbooks make them very appealing, but I'm a bit concerned about their performance as they carry a slower CPU than the 1.6GHz Atom, which isn't a great performer in the first place. Is there any significant difference in performance between 1.33 GHz and 1.6/1.66 GHz Atom processors in day to day usage? Are any of those fast enough to decode 720p x264 video? (When paired with typical Intel GMA platform and software decoder like ffdshow/CoreAVC of course, not with Nvidia Ion platform)

  • EC2 Ubuntu - Force instance to use internal IP

    I've just set up a micro instance on EC2 (AMI ID ami-e59ca991). I had hoped to avoid charges for a year as my usage falls well within the bound of the free tier. I have been charged $0.01 for "regional data transfer". I read here that this is because my instance is talking to its self via it's external IP address. From what I've Googled it looks like you can stop the charges by making sure that the instance uses its internal IP address. However, when I ping the hostname of my instance internally (via an ssh session) it resolves to the instances internal IP address. How can I configure my instance so that I do not get these charges? Is it as simple as adding a line to my hosts file? Additionally, is this the real reason for the charge? I'm concerned that I've misunderstood the pricing somewhere. I have Apace and MySQL (with phpmyadmin) running on the machine - could I be being charged for data transfer associated with these (I have only one flat HTML page and I have only logged in via phpmyadmin - I have no data in my database). Edit: Additionally, my user account on MySQL was declared as: grant all privileges on *.* to 'peter'@'localhost'; Should I have instead used the internal hostname for the instance? grant all privileges on *.* to '[email protected]'; Cheers, Pete

  • Can't play stream from TorrentFlux stream

    Hi I am trying to stream a video from my TorrentFlux-b4rt server. I tried multiple media players, none work. Only VLC was able to produce an error message: input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'mms://...:8080/'. Check the log for details. I have tried multiple computers on different networks and all have the same issue. I am using Windows 7 to play the videos, and the server is Torrentflux-b4rt 1.0-beta2 with ubuntu 9.10. Thank you.

  • AWS Large Instance: /mnt does not show all the space that should be available

    I just created a Large (m1.large) 64 bit instance which comes with 850 GB instance storage. Look at the Large Instance http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/instance-types/ A 'df -h' from the root folder gives me the output below. The /mnt is where I'm thinking the instance storage is but here it is only showing me 414G.
