• querySelectorAll is not finding dynamically added elements with custom attribute

  I am creating two way binding between JS Object and UI in below fiddle, code is big to post Please check http://jsfiddle.net/bpH6Z/20/ I am using the code like below var elements = document.querySelectorAll("[" + data_attr + "] *[bd='" + prop_name + "']"); I have mentioned the problem line in big comments, can be identified easily. My problem is I am adding elements to binded dynamicaly using JS, when I change the value in UI, the same value is not reflected in other places. The problem is querySelectorAll is faling to find elements with same attribute. It is finding only first occurrence. Please look into the issue.

• Tkinter mouse event initially triggered

  I'm currently learning Tkinter and I cannot find a solution for my problem here nor outside Stackoverflow. In a nutshell, all events that I bind to my widgets are triggered initialy and don't respond to my actions. In this example, the red rectangle appears on the canvas when I run the code, and color=random.choice(['red', 'blue']) revealed that the event binding doesn't work after that: import Tkinter as tk class application(tk.Frame): def __init__(self, master=None): tk.Frame.__init__(self, master) self.can = tk.Canvas(master, width=200, height=200) self.can.bind('<Button-2>', self.draw()) self.can.grid() def draw(self): self.can.create_rectangle(50, 50, 100, 100, fill='red') app = application() app.mainloop() I use a Mac platform, but I haven't got a clue about its role in the problem. That is, now that I'm done manipulating data I'd like to just have dd and none of the smaller variables that might inadvertently mask further analysis: > ls() [1] "dd" I feel like the solution must be of the form rm(ls[ -(dd) ]) or something, but I can't quite figure out how to say "please clean up everything BUT the following objects."

  I know this is easily done in jQuery or any other framework, but that's not really the point. How do I go about 'properly' binding a click event in pure javascript? I know how to do it inline (I know this is terrible) <a href="doc.html" onclick="myFunc(); return false">click here</a> and this causes my javascript to execute for a JS enabled browser, and the link to behave normally for those without javascript? Now, how do I do the same thing in a non-inline manner?

  I have an ASP.NET user control that is used in another use control. The parent user control uses data-binding to bind to a custom property of the child user control. What method can I override or page event where I am ensured that the property state is set? I think in a page it is PageLoaded versus the Page_Load override? I am looking for this in the user control because my property is always null even though it is set. Thanks.

But this does work: <uc:usercontrol runat="server" id="usercontrol1"/> And in code behind page_load: usercontrol1.message = Me.protectedVariable Do I have to bind from the code-behind? Is this a page life cycle issue?

  I want the window to respect MinWidth/MinHeight and MaxWidth/MaxHeight specifications of the content control inside. Some suggested using SizeToContent, but this only helps to set the initial window size, not the constraints. Others suggested overriding MeasureOverride and setting window's Min/Max height and width there, but this seems to be somewhat unclean, considering that such a trivial problem should surely have a purely declarative solution. Just to mention another solution which seems reasonable but does not work (and had been previously mentioned in an answer which got deleted): binding MinWidth of the window to MinWidth of the control does not take into account window decorations.

  Having the German Mac Keyboard Layout, it is a pain to type | as it is bound to <A-7> and it is hard for me to reach the Alt key. Thus, I'd like to do the following remapping (exchanging the binding for | and 7): imap 7 <Bar> imap <A-7> 7 The first one works, the second one does not. I have already tried all combinations with inor (no remap) but wasn't successful. Maybe I don't get the concept of remapping. Or I am missing something else.

All instances of MyUserControl are contained in a List and I access them with a foreach. string temp = userControl.InputValue; This is always null. In my MainWindow.xaml I can see the "My Input" in the text box of the user control but I can't ever seem to get it out of there.

  I'm getting some trouble binding a date from QueryString : I have the following model public class QueryParms { public DateTime Date { get; set; } } And the following controller action : public ActionResult Search( QueryParms query ); I have a form, with a field where I can type my date. If the form is FormMethod.Post, everything is fine, my date is correctly bound to my model. If the form is FormMethod.Get, it is not working anymore. The date is left to the default value (01/01/0001) I think it is a culture issue : When i look into the value provider, the FormValueProvider has a culture property set for my date : {fr-FR}. The QueryStringValueProvider doesn't have the culture property set. Is there a way to set this property ?

  Simplified example: I have an object that models a user. Users have a first name and a last name. The UserViewModel has a dependency property for my Models.User object. In the declaration of the UserView's xaml, I want to bind a couple of TextBlocks to the first and last name properties. What is the correct way to do this? Should I have readonly DependencyProperties for the name fields, and when the dependency property User is set, update them? Can the name fields be regular C# properties instead? Or, should I bind like this: <TextBlock Text="{Binding User.FirstName}" />

I require to call service for Window Application and i am using below code to open service Host, using (ServiceHost host = new ServiceHost( typeof(class1), new Uri[] { new Uri("net.pipe://localhost") }) ) { } & Then we have clinet Console application to connect to serviceHost. Problem is, When i create service/Client application Using Conslole Application both are working fine. But if i call servide code form Window application to connect to console client it gives Error for Binding Error like("No End Point/Address found to test") Can any one help me to run service from C# window application ?   im testing symfony form validation. the problem is very simple. no matter what i put in the body text area and post it, i keep getting "Required" back. i dont know why. i just have one validation rule. here is the code: code what is wrong/how can i debug? thanks UPDATE: it has something to do with the binding in the controller. cause even if i delete the validation the form will still not be valid and it will be passed to the template but this time without the "Required". so it wont be valid no matter if ive got the validation or not. it has something to do with the embedForm() maybe? someone that has validated an embeded form?

• jboss-5.1.0.GA auto start on boot

  i was given the task of installing jboss-5.1.0.GA on a remote ubuntu 10.4 Lts server., with all those resources out there i was able to run jboss successfully but my problem was that i wasn't able to get auto start on boot work so that jboss would be running on the server. i followed a couple of tutorials that said me create a separate user called jboss and to copy the jboss_init_Redhat.sh to the /etc/init.d/jboss (jboss home, java path ,jboss user and the binding to 0.0.0.0 is all set) and used /etc/init.d/jboss start but cant get to see the Jboss page at the Ip on a browser., but if i do a ./run.sh -b 0.0.0.0 == the servre is up ... can some body shed some light on this issue????

  I'm passing a method as a variable to be used as a callback. When its called, the "this" is not the object the method is a member of. How do I go about getting access to the method's object instance so I can get access to it variables and other member functions? I have no control over the callback call method, its a separate library. All I do is call the binding from my object init method.   I am using navgoco.js and angular js in an application and I have following html <div id="demo"> <ul > <li ng-repeat ... > <a href="#"> ... </a> ...... </li> </ul> </div> js code $j("#demo1").navgoco({accordion: false}); It is supposed to do some expand-collapse of menus. the problem is that navgoco events are not performing on clicking on anchor. It simply adds # to url. In the rendered html of anchor tag, anuglar is adding ng-binding that may be the problem. Please help.

• jsjac openfire chat issue

  I am trying to use openFire + jsjac for my application as chat option. I have installed openfire in my local machine and it is running fine on http://127.0.0.1:4040/ and i have downloaded jsjac version 1-3-4. 1) when I run sampleClient.html file directly [URL: C:\tomcat\webapps\jsjac\examples\simpleclient.html] I am able to connect sampleClient with openFire. Select Http Binding http Base : http://127.0.0.1:7070/http-bind/ jabber server : 127.0.0.1 username : admin password : ** 2) But when I put jsjac folder in tomcat/webapps/ directory, I access sampleClient through http://127.0.0.1:8080/jsjac/examples/sampleClient.html, at that time using above setting (which i have used in step 1) it is giving error "Service unavailable". In step 1 when though I am connected with openFire, when I send a message it displays only "message received from admin@localhost", but it does not display the actual message.. I need your advice on these problems... Thanks.
