    Hi, I have a perl/tk script in which I am creating a button widget of height 1. Now when I execute script through citrix xterm client I get button displayed. Again when I execute script now through xterm client in my PC size of button widget differs. Can someone explain why is this happening, and what should I do so that size of button widget remains constant with different xterm clients.

    I used to have DevPartner Profiler Community Edition installed on my machine, which was free to use indefinitely and was compatible with Visual Studio 2003. After I have rebuild my machine and downloaded a newer version (version 8.1) of the software, it turns out it is actually a 45 day trial eventhough it is still called a Community Edition.     I have seen the "solution" at http://www.rgagnon.com/javadetails/java-0506.html, but it doesn't work correctly. E.g. yesterday (June 8) should have been 159, but it said it was 245. So, does someone have a solution in Java for getting the current date's three digit Julian day (not Julian date - I need the day this year)? Thanks! Mark

I tried to add ADO.Net Entity Data Model item, but in the Entity Data Model Wizard, .NET Provider for Oracle does not show up. Can someone suggest a way to connect to existing Oracle database to generate the edmx file? Thanks.

    I have a question that I'm ashamed to ask, but I'm going to have a go at it anyway. I am creating a generic repository in asp.net mvc. I came across an example on this website which I find to be exactly what I was looking for, but there is one problem. It references an object - Entity - and I don't know what namespace it is in. I typically create my repositories and use Entity Framework but I decided to use a generic repository because I am using the same code in multiple projects over and over again. As you can tell, a constraint is placed on the code so that it must be an Entity type. I know that there is an Entity in System.Data.Entity, but that isn't what I need. I have had instances before where I was looking for some namespace that took me forever to find, but I have searched and I'm unable to find the appropriate namespace to cast my generic items correctly. I could cast it as a class and be done with it, but it is bugging me that I can't find Entity anywhere. I can easily find predefined macros to check for MSVC or GCC (see http://predef.sourceforge.net/ for example), but I cannot find any macro to check for clang. Does someone know if clang defines a macro like __CLANG__ in order to know what is currently compiling my code ?
