• How can I read out the CSS text via Javascript as defined in the stylesheet?

  I was thinking of using Javascript to automatically transform CSS3 attributes like border-radius, transform, box-shadow, etc. to their browser specific counterparts. I did some research and found that you can iterate over the stylesheets defined via document.styleSheets. You can find the CSS rules via document.styleSheets[0].cssRules[0].cssText. I want to modify the CSS rules that contain CSS3 attributes by injecting the browser specific attributes with the appropriate vendor-prefix, like -webkit-border-radius, moz-border-radius, etc. However, it seems that the cssText property is preprocessed in each browser, to filter out CSS attributes that it doesn't understand. That practically breaks this idea. Question: is there any way to retrieve the CSS text exactly as defined in the stylesheet? Or: is there another way to accomplish this via Javascript? I'd like to maintain clean CSS files without the need for defining each attribute multiple times for each specific browser.

  I have a matrix, IEnumerable<IEnumerable<int>> matrix, for example: { {10,23,16,20,2,4}, {22,13,1,33,21,11 }, {7,19,31,12,6,22}, ... } and another array: int[] arr={ 10, 23, 16, 20} I want to filter the matrix on the condition that I group all rows of the matrix which contain the same number of elements from arr. That is to say the first row in the matrix {10,23,16,20,2,4} has 4 numbers from arr, this array should be grouped with the rest of the rows with 4 numbers from arr. better to use linq, thank you very much!

• Inner shadow issue in Illustrator CS5

  I gave a comp to my client that I did in Photoshop. I used an inner shadow but now have realized the in Illustrator CS5 I have no such "easy" filter. I have spent 2 days seaching the web, trying tutorials, etc. to no avail. Every tutorial seems to use text but I am not using text. Anyone that can answer I would forever been in debt... :) This is the image with the inner shadow inside the stripes that I am needing to duplicate. Thanks!

• Private Accessor for method is not found

  I'm getting this error when generating a new unit test under Visual Studio 2010 using the context menu (right-click the method name - "Generate Unit Tests"): Private Accessor for methodName is not found. Please rebuild the containing project or run the Publicize.exe manually. The method is public (checked that by applying applying a filter to not show non-public methods in the "Generate Unit Tests" dialog. Visual Studio creates some kind of .accessor file automatically. Do I need to do anything in it? What else could be the problem?

• Is it possible to log the first line of the response in apache?

  Hey, We have an Tomcat server where we're trying to log the HTTP version which the response is sent with. We've seen a few times that it seems to be HTTP/0.9, which kills the content (not supported I guess?). We would like to get some stats on this by using the access log in apache. However, since the header line for this isn't prefixed by anything, we cannot use the %{xxx}o logging. Is there a way to get this? An example: Response is: HTTP/1.1 503 This application is not currently available Server: Apache-Coyote/1.1 Content-Type: text/html;charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 1090 Date: Wed, 12 May 2010 12:53:16 GMT Connection: close And we'd like the catch HTTP/1.1 (alternatively, HTTP/1.1 503 This application is not currently available. • Read file structure into an array, but only specific files.

  I have a directory structure that looks like this: /expandables - folder - folder - folder - folder - BannerInfo.txt - index.html Each one of the folder has the same exact stucture. One file named BannerInfo.txt and index.html. There are about 250 of these folders if that matters. I want to loop through these folders and store each of the index.html files into an array. Inside of the index.html file is just some simple HTML and Javascript of which I want to read into a string to be displayed later on. I'm struggling with how to filter out only the index.html file from the individual folders. The purpose of this is because I want to randomly select an index.html file and put the contents into a textarea. I thought I could do a simple array_rand() on the returned array and spit out the string. Any ideas?

I am trying to write some jquery that will check the text in the title of the current full blog entry page and match it with the corresponding title in the sidebar navigation so that I can apply a class to style for an active state link ... but I'm not quite getting it! • Best way to manage the persistence of a form state, to and from a database

  In a JSP/Servlet webapp, I have to implement a functionality that allows a user to save or restore a form state, that latter containing for instance some search criteria. In other words, the user must be able to save or restore field values of a form, at any time. On the same page that contains that form, there's also another little form that allows him to name his form state before saving it. Then, later he'll be able to recall that state, via a combobox, and refill dynamically the form with the state he selected. I know how to implement that by hand but I would prefer not to reinvent the wheel then I'd like to know if there are some frameworks managing that kind of functionality ? A mix between JSP taglib, filter class, jQuery or other JavaScript frameworks... My research has not give anything yet. Thank you in advance.

  I've got an NSMutableArray filled with objects of type "GameObject". GameObject has a number of properties, one of which being "gameObjectType" . "gameObjectType" is of type GameObjectTypeEnum. I want to be able to filter this NSMutableArray so only GameObjects of a certain type are returned. I've got the following in place, but it's giving me a "BAD ACCESS" error: NSPredicate *predicate = [NSPredicate predicateWithFormat:@"gameObjectType = %@", gameObjectType]; return [gameObjects filteredArrayUsingPredicate:predicate]; Is it possible to pass a "custom" type (ie, this enum I've defined) into the predicateWithFormat call?

  How would I translate this into LINQ? Say I have A parent table (Say, customers), and child (addresses). I want to return all of the Parents who have addresses in California, and just the california address. (but I want to do it in LINQ and get an object graph of Entity objects) Here's the old fashioned way: SELECT c.blah, a.blah FROM Customer c INNER JOIN Address a on c.CustomerId = a.CustomerId where a.State = 'CA' The problem I'm having with LINQ is that i need an object graph of concrete Entity types (and it can't be lazy loaded.   I am building a note taking app for myself with tag filtering functions, but am having an issue when trying to grab notes with the tags. The tag filter needs to use AND not IN, because it will help better narrow down what I am looking for. My tables are configured like this: + notes note_id | note_title | note_uid + tags tag_id | tag_title + notes_tags nt_id | nt_note_id | nt_tag_id The notes_tags table keeps track of all notes' tags. I am not worried about returning any information about tags, so here is an example LEFT JOIN I am using currently to only get notes with only 1 tag. SELECT * FROM notes_tags LEFT JOIN notes ON note_id = nt_note_id WHERE note_uid IN ( 1 ) AND nt_tag_id = 10 This query runs perfect, it grabs all of the notes with that single tag. However, I am having issues "pinpointing" my notes using a query like this: SELECT * FROM notes_tags LEFT JOIN notes ON note_id = nt_note_id WHERE note_uid IN ( 1 ) AND nt_tag_id = 10 AND nt_tag_id = 11 What am I doing wrong with the syntax?

• Using Large Arrays in VB.NET

  I want to extract large amounts of data from Excel, manipulate it and put it back. I have found the best way to do this is to extract the data from an Excel Range in to a large array, change the contents on the array and write it back to the Excel Range. I am now rewriting the application using VB.NET 2008/2010 and wish to take advantage of any new features. Currently I have to loop through the contents of the array to find elements with certain values; also sorting large arrays is cumbersome. I am looking to use the new features, including LINQ to manipulate the data in my array. Does anybody have any advice on the easiest ways to filter / query, sort etc. data in a large array. Also what are the reasonable limits to the size of the array? ~Many Thanks

  Is it possible to step into a linq query? I have a linq to entity framework 4 query in it's simplest form: List = List.Where(f => f.Value.ToString().ToLowerInvariant().Contains(filter.ToLowerInvariant())); It's a query against an Entity Framework DbContext and I'm having trouble seeing why it works for something like: List searching for 001 yields no results against the following list Test001 Test002 Test003 Test004 However any other search yields results (Such as t00 or Test) I was hoping to figure out a way to see the resulting sql but it appears that I need Intellitrace, which I don't currently have or possibly stepping through the query itself and see each iteration build itself.

  i have a mini blog app, and a 'timeline' . there i want to be displayed all the posts from all the friends of a user, plus the posts of that user himself. For that, i have to make some kind of a 'join' between the results of two queries (queries on the same table) , so that the final result will be the combination of the user - posesor of the account, and all his friends. My query looks like this: blog = New.objects.filter(created_by = following,created_by = request.user) By that ',' i wanted to make a 'join' -i found something like this on a doc- but this method is not correct- i'm getting an error.   What I'm looking for is something like materialized views in front-end that shows my data in diffident ways without full recalculation. let's say I have stock watcher with many front-end views and dashborads some based on aggregation, order by or just filter with different criteria defined realtime by user. Now, I receive online record updates from some webservice and it's not like "data warehouse" every single record can be updated any time and it actually happens every second. Is there any technology can help me in such I create something like materialized view and it's update it without doing full recalculation every time data changed. Thank you.
