• CUDA driver installation on a laptop with nVidia NVS140M card

  I'm trying to first figure out if my computer contains a CUDA-enabled card. It has an nVidia NVS 140M card, but I can't seem to figure out if it is the 128 MB version or 256 MB version. On the laptop purchase receipt, I found out that I ordered the 128 MB version, but the control panel description of the card said otherwise as shown below: When I ran the CUDA driver from nVidia's site, it cannot find a hardware compatible with CUDA (even though the product series is CUDA-enabled, the card does not have 256 MB minimum of memory to do so). What would be your recommendations in this case with trying to use CUDA on this computer (I'm not sure if nothing can be done at this point)? Thanks in advance.

  Hello, I try Eclipse+PyDev pair for some of my work. (Eclipse v3.5.0 + PyDev v1.5.6) I couldn't find a way to expose all of my variables to the PyDev console (Through PyDev console - Console for current active editor option) I use a simple code to describe the issue. When I step-by-step go through the code I can't access my "x" variable from the console. It is viewed on Variables tab, but that's not really what I want. Any help is appreciate.   When a SQL batch returns more than one message from e.g. print statements, then I can only retrieve the first one using the ADO connection's Errors collection. How do I get the rest of the messages?   Hi, I have been placing several ImageButtons programmatically in a TableLayout, every ImageButton has it's own Drawable resource as a Background. I use an XML description for the layout of the ImageButton itself and afterwards use the LayoutInflater to retrieve such an ImageButton (called genre_cell.xml): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <ImageButton xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:id="@+id/genreCellItemId" android:layout_weight="1" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_gravity="center_horizontal" android:paddingLeft="5dip" android:paddingRight="5dip"> </ImageButton> And in my class I do : myButton = (ImageButton) inflater.inflate(R.layout.genre_cell, row, false); I have actually attached an onClickListener on every ImageButton, but now I'd like to uniquely identify which ImageButton has been clicked... I thought that maybe I could somehow retrieve the Drawable's ID used for the background and check that one with the available Drawable's int values ? Is this an option and if so how should it be implemented ? Also are there any other options ?

• Which has been the most reliable, fastest Windows C++ profiler that you have used?

  I need to profile a real time C++ app on Windows. Most of the available profilers are either terribly expensive, total overkill, or both. I don't need any .NET stuff. Since it is a real time app, I need the profiler to be as fast as possible. It would be excellent if it integrated in some way with Visual Studio 2005/2008, but that's not necessary. If this description reminds you of a profiler that you have used, I would really like to know about it. I am hoping to draw from people's use of C++ profilers on Windows to pinpoint one that will do the job. Thanks.

• How is the Trac Project List page customised?

  We've been using Trac for a while now for our developers only. However we are now opening it up for our (internal) clients. We have a project listing page (based on the default one that comes with Trac). What we'd like to do, is display more information about the project than what is currently available. I have searched google and here, to see if I can find how to get more information. There seems to be a variable called $project which has .name, .description and .href as attributes. Is there somewhere, a list of the attributes available? Or perhaps a different solution altogether that will allow us to display more information on the project list page. Such as the number of open tickets etc.

  Hi I have two tables, Products and BundleProducts that have o2o relation with BaseProducts. A BundleProduct is a collection of Products using a m2m realtion to the Products table. Products has a price column and the price of a BundleProduct is calculated as the sum of the prices of its Products. BaseProducts have columns like name and description so I can query it to get both Products and BundleProducts. Is it possible to query and sort by price both for the price column of the Products and calculated price of the BundleProducts? Thanks

  I have 2 tables - one storing user information (id, username, password) and the second one storing information about events (id, name, description, date, username(represents the user who created the event)). I would like to implement 'favourite events' functionality. This would allow the user to store his favourite events and later display them in a list. I am not sure how to implement this in terms of design. I need a simple solution. Something like storing the IDs of favourite events in a field in the user table. I am using mysql and php.   I'm creating my own Group model; I'm not referring to the builtin Group model. I want each hroup to be a member of another group (it's parent), but there is the one "top" group that doesn't have a parent group. The admin interface won't let me create a group without entering a parent. I get the error personnel_group.parent_id may not be NULL. So i started out with this: select max(count(price)) from orders group by price which gives me 3. after some time i didn't think that was helpful. i believe i needed the value 14 and 21 rather the the count so i can put that in the where clause. but I'm stuck how to display that. any help?

• How should images be stored when multiple sizes are needed?

  What is the best way to store images? Currently when an image is uploaded I resize it to 3 different sizes (a thumbnail, a normal size, and a large size). I save in a database a description of the image, the format, and use the id number from the database as the image name. Each size image has its own directory. Should I be storing the images in the database? Should I only be storing the larger size and generate the thumbnail as needed? Or any other ideas you have?

  The longest common substring problem according to wiki can be solved using a suffix tree. From wiki: The longest common substrings of a set of strings can be found by building a generalised suffix tree for the strings, and then finding the deepest internal nodes which have leaf nodes from all the strings in the subtree below it I don't get this. Example: if I have: ABCDE and XABCZ then the suffix tree is (some branches from XABCZ omitted due to space): The longest common substring is ABC but it is not I can not see how the description of wiki helps here. ABC is not the deepest internal nodes with leaf nodes. Any help to understand how this works?
