    I've looked around and nothing seems to work: $file = '/path/to/file.csv'; $cmd = 'mysqldump DATABASE TABLE > '.$file.' --host=localhost --user=USER --password=PASS'; $cmd .= ' --lock-tables=false --no-create-info --tab=/tmp --fields-terminated-by=\',\''; exec($cmd); Everything I try creates an empty CSV file.     Hi, In one of our databases, there is a table with dozens of columns, one of which is a geometry column. I want to SELECT rows from the table, with the geometry transformed to another SRID. I want to use something like: `SELECT *` in order to avoid: SELECT col_a, col_b, col_c, col_d, col_e, col_f, col_g, col_h, transform(the_geom, NEW_SRID), ..., col_z Any ideas? Adam

  • Opening a huge .csv file with Excel Interop using C#

    Hi, I have an application that write huge .csv files about the size ranging from 1 GB to 2 GB. I need to color code the file and save it as .xlsx. So I have tried using Excel Interop and it works great for small files, but when I try to open a 1.3 GB .csv file with Excel, I get an Hresult error. Any ideas as to how I could accomplish this task either with using Excel, or if there is any other way of doing it. Thanks!

  • problem with custom NSProtocol and caching on iPhone

    My iPhone app embeds a UIWebView which loads html via a custom NSProtocol handler I have registered. My problem is that resources referenced in the returned html, which are also loaded via my custom protocol handler, are cached and never reloaded. In particular, my stylesheet is cached: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="./styles.css" /> The initial request to load the html in the UIWebView looks like this: NSString* strUrl = [NSMutableString stringWithFormat: @"myprotocol:///entry?id=%d", entryID ]; NSURL* url = [NSURL URLWithString: strUrl]; [_pCurrentWebView loadRequest: [NSURLRequest requestWithURL: url cachePolicy: NSURLRequestReloadIgnoringLocalCacheData timeoutInterval: 60 ]]; (note the cache policy is set to ignore, and I've verified this cache policy carries through to subsequent requests for page resources on the initial load) The protocol handler loads the html from a database and returns it to the client using code like this: // create the response record NSURLResponse *response = [[NSURLResponse alloc] initWithURL: [request URL] MIMEType: mimeType expectedContentLength: -1 textEncodingName: textEncodingName]; // get a reference to the client so we can hand off the data id client = [self client]; // turn off caching for this response data [client URLProtocol: self didReceiveResponse:response cacheStoragePolicy: NSURLCacheStorageNotAllowed]; // set the data in the response to our jfif data [client URLProtocol: self didLoadData:data]; [data release]; (Note the response cache policy is "not allowed"). Any ideas how I can make it NOT cache my styles.css resource? I need to be able to dynamically alter the content of this resource on subsequent loads of html that references this file. I thought clearing the shared url cache would work, but it doesnt: [[NSURLCache sharedURLCache] removeAllCachedResponses]; One thing that does work, but it's terribly inefficient, is to dynamically cache-bust the url for the stylesheet by adding a timestamp parameter: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="./styles.css?ts=1234567890" /> To make this work I have to load my html from the db, search and replace the url for the stylesheet with a cache-busting parameter that changes on each request. I'd rather not do this. My presumption is that there is no problem if I were to load my content via the built-in HTTP protocol. In that case, I'm guessing that the UIWebView looks at any Cache-Control flags in the NSURLHTTPResponse object's http headers and abides by them. Since my NSURLResponseObject has no http headers (it's not http...) then perhaps UIWebView just decides to cached the resource (ignoring the NSURLRequest caching directive?). Ideas???

    Hi, I'm sending email with PHP's mail function. It works just as it should except all email clients show blank From-field. Here's how i'm using the function: mail( '[email protected]', "Example subject", $msg, implode( "\r\n", array( Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8', 'From: [email protected]') ) ); As i said everything works fine except From field is all blank when the message arrives. Any ideas why this is happening?

    Hi, I am trying to broadcast a message through the Node.js service socket.io (http://socket.io/) to certain subset of all subscribers. To be more exact, I would like to use channels that users can subscribe to, in order to efficiently push messages to a couple hundred people at the same time.     I need a software that simulates a network adapter. I need the virtual adapters will be able to communicate with each other. For example, if I i have 2 virtual adapter (on the same computer): interface1-1.1.1.1 and interface2-1.1.1.2. I want the packets that will be send through interface1 will be received in interface2. I have as an option to install VMWare server, but i prefer something more specific. anyone have ideas?

    Hi Im trying to add a app.config file to my dll, but all attempts have failed. According to MusicGenesis in 'Putting configuration information in a DLL' this should not be a problem. So obviously im doing something wrong... The following code should return my connectionstring from my dll : return ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["ConnectionString"]; However, when I copy the app.config file to my console application, it works fine. Any ideas?

  • Why can't my master page be loaded

    I've largely ignored this error, but i can do so no more. I'm trying to view a page that inherits from a master page in my solution, but I see this: "The Master Page file 'Site.master' cannot be loaded." The page exists, I can browse to it, view it in design view and do stuff. When the site is loaded in the browser, it works fine. Any ideas?

This content type is also bound to a module, but this module doesn't have any admin screens, all node creation is done through the standard cck interface. any ideas?   • DataGridView Autosize but restrict max column size

    Hi folks, in my C# 4.0 Application, I have a DataGridView to display some data. I want the Columns size accordingly to the content, so I set the AutoSizeColumnsMode to AllCellsExceptHeader. But I want to restrict the columns to grow beyond a certain value. There is a MinimumWidth Property ... but unfortunately no MaximumWidth Property. Any ideas how to solve this?   • Jquery Effect Onunload

    I would like to use the jquery slideUp effect when the user navigates away from the page just to make the page look cool as it closes. I assume that I should use the onunload event but how can I delay the page closing long enough for the effect to run to completion. One of the options that came to mind is effectively hijacking the page closing function, storing it in some variable and then executing it once I had run my effect but I have no idea how I would do that. Any suggestions or alternative ideas are more than welcome

  • NetworkActivityIndicator not working the same on iPhone and Simulator?

    I am using the NetworkActivityIndicator to show that my App is doing some work. When I run the app in the simulator, it shows the way I want - basically spinning the entire time until the selected tab loads the data from the server - but when I put the app onto my phone, I only get a split-second of the spinner before it disappears. Usually only spins right before the view appears on the screen. Ideas?

    I would like the rows of my GridView to have strikethrough based on a bound data value called IsObsolete. I tried to do this: <RowStyle BackColor="#EFF3FB" Font-Strikeout='<%# Bind('IsObsolete') %>' /> But obviously this doesn't parse. I'd rather not do this in GridView.DataBound(). Any other ideas?
