  • Set Mime_type validation in Symfony

    - by Ngu Soon Hui
    I want to make sure that during file upload time, only the file of the format jpeg, png and gif are allowed. So the "File of type:" below in the screenshot must show jpeg, png and gif: I did the following for my validator in Symfony: $this->setValidator ( 'upload your filehere', new sfValidatorFile ( array ( 'required'=>true, 'mime_types' => array ('image/jpeg, image/png, image/gif' ) ) , array( 'mime_types'=> 'only jpeg' ) ) ); but when I click on the upload button, the files are not filtered accordingly; what did I do wrong? I also try $this->setValidator ( 'upload your filehere', new sfValidatorFile ( array ( 'required'=>true, 'mime_types' => 'image/jpeg, image/png, image/gif' ) , array( 'mime_types'=> 'only jpeg' ) ) ); But it doesn't work, too. I tried the following in my form class, but unfortunately it doesn't work as well: <?php class UploadCaseForm extends sfForm { public function configure() { $this->setWidgets ( array ('Documents' => new sfWidgetFormInputFile ( ) ) ); $this->widgetSchema->setNameFormat ( 'UploadCase[%s]' ); $this->validatorSchema ['Documents'] = new sfValidatorFile ( array ('mime_types' => 'web_images' ), array ('invalid' => 'Invalid file.', 'required' => 'Select a file to upload.', 'mime_types' => 'The file must be of JPEG, PNG or GIF format.' ) ); } } ?> Here's the action code: public function executeIndex(sfWebRequest $request) { $this->form = new UploadCaseForm ( ); if ($this->getRequest ()->getMethod () == sfRequest::POST) { var_dump($request->getParameter('UploadCase')); } } Edit: The accepted answer is the answer, as far as the server side validation goes. If anyone wants a client side validation, i.e., filtering the type of file that can be uploaded even before the operation hits server, then maybe there is no reliable way to do it, because of browser's constraint.

  • asp.net Wizard control strange issue

    - by epitka
    Update: There was actually a hidden panel with validator in the user control that was causing page not to be valid on the first postback. Consider this issue resolved. This is first time I am using this control and it is behaving rather strange. I have to click on the "Next" button twice for it to move to the next step. I tried explicitly setting active index, using MoveTo etc. Nothing works. Here is the markup for the control. Anybody has any ideas why? <asp:Wizard ID="UserWizard" runat="server" ActiveStepIndex="0" StartNextButtonImageUrl = "~/App_Themes/Default/images/buttons/continue.gif" StartNextButtonType="Image" StepNextButtonType="Image" StepNextButtonImageUrl="~/App_Themes/Default/images/buttons/continue.gif" FinishPreviousButtonImageUrl="~/App_Themes/Default/images/buttons/back.gif" FinishPreviousButtonType="Image" FinishCompleteButtonImageUrl="~/App_Themes/Default/images/buttons/save.gif" FinishCompleteButtonType="Image" CancelButtonType="Image" CancelButtonImageUrl="~/App_Themes/Default/images/buttons/back.gif" DisplaySideBar="false" > <WizardSteps> <asp:WizardStep Title="User Profile" ID="UserProfile" runat="server"> <uhc:ctlUserProfileEdit ID="ctlUserProfileEdit" runat="server"> </uhc:ctlUserProfileEdit> <br clear="all" /> <div> <asp:ImageButton ID="cmdResetPassword" runat="server" ImageUrl="~/App_Themes/Default/images/buttons/resetpassword.gif" /> </div> <div> <asp:UpdatePanel ID="upSchools" runat="server" ChildrenAsTriggers="true"> <ContentTemplate> <uhc:ctlSchoolLocationSelector ID="ctlSchoolLocationSelector" runat="server" /> </ContentTemplate> </asp:UpdatePanel> </div> </asp:WizardStep> <asp:WizardStep Title="Roles" ID="Roles" runat="server"> <uhc:ctlPermissionInternal ID="ctlPermissionInternal1" runat="server"></uhc:ctlPermissionInternal> <uhc:ctlPermissionExternal ID="ctlPermissionExternal1" runat="server"></uhc:ctlPermissionExternal> </asp:WizardStep> </WizardSteps> </asp:Wizard>

  • Drag and drop game - why isn't it working now I've moved it to another domain?

    - by vward
    Earlier this year I did some work on a drag and drop game. It was the first thing I'd coded other than basic html. I got it working but then had to put it to one side for a while. I've now come back to work on it. The game I had created was put on the ftp of a domain I no longer have. I took the html and image files and put them on another domain expecting them to work. However now nothing drags! I don't know what could be different. I can barely remember how I coded this in the first place. Is there an additional file that should be on the ftp or something like that? Can anyone shed any light? Thanks Vic Game: http://www.vic-taylor.com/dolls/doll6.html Code: <!doctype html> <html lang="en"> <head> <script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery.min.js"></script> <script src="http://code.jquery.com/ui/1.8.17/jquery-ui.min.js"></script> <script> $(function() { $( "#draggable" ).draggable() }); </script> <script> $(function() { $( "#draggable2" ).draggable(); }); </script> <script> $(function() { $( "#draggable3" ).draggable(); }); </script> <script> $(function() { $( "#draggable4" ).draggable(); }); </script> <script> $(function() { $( "#draggable5" ).draggable(); }); </script> </head> </body> <div id="bodies/palepd.gif"> <img src="bodies/palepd.gif" class="ui-widget-content" id="draggable"> <img src="bodies/trousers.gif" class="ui-widget-content" id="draggable2"> <img src="bodies/top.gif" class="ui-widget-content" id="draggable3"> <img src="bodies/dress.gif" class="ui-widget-content" id="draggable4"> <img src="bodies/coat.gif" class="ui-widget-content" id="draggable5"> </div> </body>

  • How to pull the file name from a url using javascript/jquery?

    - by jim23
    A certain variable might contain a relative path or an absolute path. Either way, I need to be able to pull the filename from the variable: http://www.somesite.com/dir1/dir2/filename.gif /dir1/dir2/filename.gif The directory structure is also arbitrary. So basically given either of the url's above (with arbirtrary directory structure) I need to pull 'filename.gif'. Thanks in advance

  • What's wrong with my If-statement to check uploaded file? (PHP)

    - by ggfan
    I am trying to test if the uploaded file is the image type I want. If it isn't a gif,jpeg, png, it should echo "Problem". But when I execute this code, it always says there's a problem. What's wrong with my if statement? $uploadfile_type=$_FILES['userfile']['type']; if ( ($uploadfile_type !='image/gif') || ($uploadfile_type !='image/jpeg') || ($uploadfile_type !='image/png')) { echo 'Problem: file is not a gif or jpeg or png!'; exit; } This code works when I am only checking one type of image. Ex: if($uploadfile_type !='image/gif') -- this statement would work but when I add a OR it doesn't.

  • How can I get Dreamscene wallpapers to change randomly in Win7?

    - by andygrunt
    Having only recently moved over from Windows XP to Windows 7, I’m a big fan of the ‘Dreamscene’ animated wallpaper. I’m also a big fan of the Win 7 ability to select a group of still wallpaper bitmaps and set it to randomly change wallpapers every ‘X’ minutes/hours. What I want is the ability to do the same with the dreamscene animated wallpapers, i.e. select a group and they randomly change every ‘X’ minutes. Beyond that, I’d also like to be able to select a group of stills and animated wallpapers and randomly change between them.

  • How do I center a UIImageView within a full-screen UIScrollView?

    - by Sebastian Celis
    In my application, I would like to present the user with a full-screen photo viewer much like the one used in the Photos app. This is just for a single photo and as such should be quite simple. I just want the user to be able to view this one photo with the ability to zoom and pan. I have most of it working. And, if I do not center my UIImageView, everything behaves perfectly. However, I really want the UIImageView to be centered on the screen when the image is sufficiently zoomed out. I do not want it stuck to the top-left corner of the scroll view. Once I attempt to center this view, my vertical scrollable area appears to be greater than it should be. As such, once I zoom in a little, I am able to scroll about 100 pixels past the top of the image. What am I doing wrong? @interface MyPhotoViewController : UIViewController <UIScrollViewDelegate> { UIImage* photo; UIImageView *imageView; } - (id)initWithPhoto:(UIImage *)aPhoto; @end @implementation MyPhotoViewController - (id)initWithPhoto:(UIImage *)aPhoto { if (self = [super init]) { photo = [aPhoto retain]; // Some 3.0 SDK code here to ensure this view has a full-screen // layout. } return self; } - (void)dealloc { [photo release]; [imageView release]; [super dealloc]; } - (void)loadView { // Set the main view of this UIViewController to be a UIScrollView. UIScrollView *scrollView = [[UIScrollView alloc] init]; [self setView:scrollView]; [scrollView release]; } - (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; // Initialize the scroll view. CGSize photoSize = [photo size]; UIScrollView *scrollView = (UIScrollView *)[self view]; [scrollView setDelegate:self]; [scrollView setBackgroundColor:[UIColor blackColor]]; // Create the image view. We push the origin to (0, -44) to ensure // that this view displays behind the navigation bar. imageView = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0.0, -44.0, photoSize.width, photoSize.height)]; [imageView setImage:photo]; [scrollView addSubview:imageView]; // Configure zooming. CGSize screenSize = [[UIScreen mainScreen] bounds].size; CGFloat widthRatio = screenSize.width / photoSize.width; CGFloat heightRatio = screenSize.height / photoSize.height; CGFloat initialZoom = (widthRatio > heightRatio) ? heightRatio : widthRatio; [scrollView setMaximumZoomScale:3.0]; [scrollView setMinimumZoomScale:initialZoom]; [scrollView setZoomScale:initialZoom]; [scrollView setBouncesZoom:YES]; [scrollView setContentSize:CGSizeMake(photoSize.width * initialZoom, photoSize.height * initialZoom)]; // Center the photo. Again we push the center point up by 44 pixels // to account for the translucent navigation bar. CGPoint scrollCenter = [scrollView center]; [imageView setCenter:CGPointMake(scrollCenter.x, scrollCenter.y - 44.0)]; } - (void)viewWillAppear:(BOOL)animated { [super viewWillAppear:animated]; [[[self navigationController] navigationBar] setBarStyle:UIBarStyleBlackTranslucent]; [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarStyle:UIStatusBarStyleBlackTranslucent animated:YES]; } - (void)viewWillDisappear:(BOOL)animated { [super viewWillDisappear:animated]; [[[self navigationController] navigationBar] setBarStyle:UIBarStyleDefault]; [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarStyle:UIStatusBarStyleDefault animated:YES]; } - (UIView *)viewForZoomingInScrollView:(UIScrollView *)scrollView { return imageView; } @end

  • How to Create a Cinemagraph; Still Photos with Moving Elements

    - by Jason Fitzpatrick
    Cinemagraphs, still photos with moving elements, are quite a trend in photography circles. Unlike jerky animated GIFs, they’re much more fluid and subtle. Learn how to make them with this tutorial. At Photojojo! they have a detailed tutorial outlining how to create a cinemagraph that covers the planning and execution of your image. If you’ve never heard of the process before it’s pretty neat. You take a series of photographs and then, using image editing tools, mask off only the parts of the photo you want to move (like the eyes in the photos sample seen here). Then you blend the photos together and create an animated GIF where in only the small portion of the image actually moves. This is quite different than the jerky animated GIFs that result when people try to turn full motion video into an animation. Hit up the link below to see how you can create your own cinemagraphs. • How to force a new Notification in notify-osd to show up without waiting for the earlier one to exit?

    - by Nirmik
    I have made a script(and a .desktop shortcut leading to this script) for starting and stoping xampp... It checks the status of xampp and accordingly either starts or stops xampp. Now i have assigned a notification as soon as the script is started to display "Starting xampp..." or "Stopping xampp..." and then when xampp is started or stopped,it displays "Xampp started..." or "Xampp stopped..." I've used notify-send to show notification as seen in the script below Now the thing is that here,the second notification waits for the 1st one to disappear and then pops up even if xampp has started/stopped. I want the new notification to appear immediately by forcing the earlier one to exit before the completion of its life-cycle. This can be seen to take plce when you activate/deactivate wireless/networking immediately... For example the "Wireless enabled" comes up on selecting enable wireless and if you immediately select disable wireless,the "Wireless disabled" notification comes up without waiting for "Wireless enabled" notification to complete its life-cycle. So how do i achieve this? #!/bin/sh SERVICE='proftpd' if ps ax | grep -v grep | grep $SERVICE /dev/null then notify-send -i /opt/lampp/htdocs/xampp/img/logo-small.gif "Stopping XAMPP..." && gksudo /opt/lampp/lampp stop && notify-send -i /opt/lampp/htdocs/xampp/img/logo- small.gif "XAMPP Stoped." else notify-send -i /opt/lampp/htdocs/xampp/img/logo-small.gif "Starting XAMPP..." && gksudo /opt/lampp/lampp start && notify-send -i /opt/lampp/htdocs/xampp/img/logo-small.gif "XAMPP Started." fi On the man page for notify-send I found --urgency=LEVEL or -u where levels are low, normal, critical. Is this of any use? making it critical? Also I tried it with the command- notify-send -u=critical"Testing" but that dint work...it gives the error- Unknown urgency criticalTesting specified. Known urgency levels: low, normal, critical. or if I give the command notify-send -u=LOW"Testing" it gives me error missing argument to -u Any relation??

  • iPhone: Grouped tables and navigation controller issues

    - by Jack Griffiths
    Hi there, I've set up a grouped table on my app, and pushing to new views works fine. Except for one thing. The titles and stack layout are all weird. Here's the breakdown: I have two sections in my table. When I tap on the first row in the first section, it takes me to the correct view, but the title of the new view is the name of the first row in the second section of the table. In turn, the second row in the first section's title is the second row in the second section's title. If I tap on the second row in the second section of the root view table, the navigation button goes to the second row in the first section of the table. So here's a diagram of my table: Table Section 1 Row 1 Row 2 Row 3 Table Section 2 Row A Row B Row C So if I tap on row 3, the title of the pushed view is Row C. The navigation button tells me to go back to Row 3, then eventually ending up at the root view. Here's my implementation file pushing the views: - (void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { //CSS if ([[arryClientSide objectAtIndex:indexPath.row] isEqual:@"CSS"]) { CSSViewController *css = [[CSSViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"CSSViewController" bundle:nil]; [css setTitle:@"CSS"]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:css animated:YES]; } //HTML if ([[arryClientSide objectAtIndex:indexPath.row] isEqual:@"HTML"]) { HTMLViewController *html = [[HTMLViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"HTMLViewController" bundle:nil]; [html setTitle:@"HTML"]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:html animated:YES]; } //JS if ([[arryClientSide objectAtIndex:indexPath.row] isEqual:@"JavaScript"]) { JSViewController *js = [[JSViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"JSViewController" bundle:nil]; [js setTitle:@"JavaScript"]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:js animated:YES]; } //PHP if ([[arryServerSide objectAtIndex:indexPath.row] isEqual:@"PHP"]) { PHPViewController *php = [[PHPViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"PHPViewController" bundle:nil]; [php setTitle:@"PHP"]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:php animated:YES]; } //SQL if ([[arryServerSide objectAtIndex:indexPath.row] isEqual:@"SQL"]) { SQLViewController *sql = [[SQLViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"SQLViewController" bundle:nil]; [sql setTitle:@"SQL"]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:sql animated:YES]; } & the array feeding the table's data: - (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; arryClientSide = [[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects:@"CSS",@"HTML",@"JavaScript",nil]; arryServerSide = [[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects:@"Objective-C", @"PHP",@"SQL",nil]; // arryResources = [[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects:@"HTML Colour Codes", @"Useful Resources", @"About",nil]; self.title = @"Select a Language"; [super viewDidLoad]; // Uncomment the following line to display an Edit button in the navigation bar for this view controller. // self.navigationItem.rightBarButtonItem = self.editButtonItem; } Any help would be greatly appreciated. • Microsoft Application Request Routing with Windows Authentication

    - by theplatz
    I'm running into a problem trying to get Windows Authentication working in an environment that uses Microsoft Application Request Routing and was hoping someone might be able to help. The problem I'm running into is that only some requests are authenticated, while others fail with 401 errors. I have followed the Special Case of Running IIS 7.0 in a Web Farm instructions found at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/webtopics/archive/2009/01/19/service-principal-name-spn-checklist-for-kerberos-authentication-with-iis-7-0.aspx to no avail. My current server setup looks like the following: ARR Two servers set up with IIS shared configuration using IIS 7.5 on Windows 2008 R2 Anonymous authentication turned on for the Default Web Site Web Farm Two servers running IIS 7.5 on Windows 2008 R2 Three web sites set up using port binding to differentiate between virtual hosts. Ports being used are 8000, 8001, and 8002 Application pools for Windows Authentication all use a common domain account SPN added to domain account for http/<virthalhost-name>:<port-number> and http/<virtualhost-name>.<fully-qualified-domain>:<port-number> The IIS logs show the following when authentication is working/failing. • Subclassing UINavigationBar ... how do I use it in UINavigationController?

    - by funkadelic
    Hi, I wanted to subclass UINavigationBar (to set a custom background image & text color) and use that for all the navigation bars in my app. Looking at the API docs for UINavigationController, it looks like navigationBar is read-only: @property(nonatomic, readonly) UINavigationBar *navigationBar Is there a way to actually use a custom UINavigationBar in my UIViewControllers? I know that other apps have done custom navigation bars, like flickr: Here is my UINavigationBar subclass: #import <UIKit/UIKit.h> @interface MyNavigationBar : UINavigationBar <UINavigationBarDelegate> { } @end the implementation #import "MyNavigationBar.h" @implementation MyNavigationBar - (id)initWithFrame:(CGRect)frame { if (self = [super initWithFrame:frame]) { // Initialization code } return self; } - (void)drawRect:(CGRect)rect { // override the standard background with our own custom one UIImage *image = [[UIImage imageNamed:@"navigation_bar_bgd.png"] retain]; [image drawInRect:rect]; [image release]; } #pragma mark - #pragma mark UINavigationDelegate Methods - (void)navigationController:(UINavigationController *)navigationController willShowViewController:(UIViewController *)viewController animated:(BOOL)animated{ // use the title of the passed in view controller NSString *title = [viewController title]; // create our own UILabel with custom color, text, etc UILabel *titleView = [[UILabel alloc] init]; [titleView setFont:[UIFont boldSystemFontOfSize:18]]; [titleView setTextColor:[UIColor blackColor]]; titleView.text = title; titleView.backgroundColor = [UIColor clearColor]; [titleView sizeToFit]; viewController.navigationItem.titleView = titleView; [titleView release]; viewController.navigationController.navigationBar.tintColor = [UIColor colorWithRed:0.1 green:0.2 blue:0.3 alpha:0.8]; } - (void)navigationController:(UINavigationController *)navigationController didShowViewController:(UIViewController *)viewController animated:(BOOL)animated{ } - (void)dealloc { [super dealloc]; } @end I know that I can use a category to change the background image, but i still want to be able to set the text color of the navigation bar title @implementation UINavigationBar (CustomImage) - (void)drawRect:(CGRect)rect { UIImage *image = [UIImage imageNamed: @"navigation_bar_bgd.png"]; [image drawInRect:CGRectMake(0, 0, self.frame.size.width, self.frame.size.height)]; } @end any suggestions or other solutions? I basically want to create a light background and dark text like Flickr's app navigation bars

  • Iphone xCode - Navigation Controller on second xib view?

    - by Frames84
    Everything is fine, my navigation controller display's my 'Menu 1' item, but when i click it there appears to be a problem with the: [self.navigationController pushViewController:c animated:YES]; line it doesn't connect to the break point in the myClass file. so I think i've not joined something? but unsure what? my second view with the navigation controller doesn't have direct access to the AppDelegate so can't join it like i see in some tutorials. 1st view is just a button when clicked calls: [self presentModalViewController:mainViewController animated:YES]; my second View 'MainViewController' header looks like: @interface MainViewController :UITableViewController <UITableViewDelegate, UITableViewDataSource> { NSArray *controllers; UINavigationController *navController; } @property (nonatomic, retain) IBOutlet UINavigationController *navControllers; @property (nonatomic, retain) NSArray *controller; Then I have my MainViewController.m @synthesize controllers; @synthesize navController; - (void) viewDidLoad { NSMutableArray *array = [[NSMutaleArray alloc] init]; myClass *c = [[myClass alloc] initWithStyle:UITableViewStylePlain]; c.Title = @"Menu 1"; [array addObject:c]; self.Controllers = array; [array release]; } implemented numberOfRowsInSection and cellForRowAtIndexPath - (void) tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { NSUInteger row = [indexPath row]; myClass *c = [self.controllers objectAtIndex:row]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:c animated:YES]; // doesn't load myClass c // [self.navController pushViewController:c animated:YES]; } Also in interface designer I dragged a Navigation Controller onto my new XIB and changed the Root View Controller class to MainViewController and also connected the File Owner connector to the Navigation Controller to connect the navController Outlet. Thanks for you time.

  • By using " editingStyleForRowAtIndexPath " method , " didSelectRowAtIndexPath " method is not calle

    - by Madan Mohan
    Hi, the delegate method not called -(void)viewWillAppear:(BOOL)animated { [theTableView setEditing:TRUE animated:TRUE]; } -(UITableViewCellEditingStyle)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView editingStyleForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { return UITableViewCellEditingStyleDelete; } by calling the above the methods i will get minus component before each cell in table view. But the below method didSelectRowAtIndexPath is not called and disclouser indicator is not in visible. (void )tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { [theTableView deselectRowAtIndexPath:indexPath animated:YES]; ContactEditViewCotroller *contactEditViewCotroller=[[ContactEditViewCotroller alloc]init]; contactEditViewCotroller.isEdit=isEdit; if(isEdit == YES) { for(int i=0; i<=[editObject.contactList count]-1;i++) { if(indexPath.section == i) { appDelegate.isAddInEdit=NO; editcontacts = [editObject.contactList objectAtIndex:i]; contactEditViewCotroller.editcontacts=editcontacts; indexRow=i; } } } else { for(int i=0; i<=[addContactList count]-1;i++) { if(indexPath.section == i) { appDelegate.isAddInEdit=NO; Contacts *obj = [addContactList objectAtIndex:i]; contactEditViewCotroller.addcontacts=obj; } } } [[self navigationController] pushViewController:contactEditViewCotroller animated:YES]; [contactEditViewCotroller release]; }

  • View isn't scrolling back down after I dismiss the keyboard

    - by fmi
    I have a Tab Bar app. One of the views has a UITextView that is hidden by the keyboard when touched. I've set the view to scroll to account for the keyboard but it the view doesn't always return to it's original position after I dismiss the keyboard. Here is my code: //Scroll the view for keyboard - (void)viewWillAppear:(BOOL)animated { void (^keyBoardWillShow) (NSNotification *)= ^(NSNotification * notif) { NSDictionary* info = [notif userInfo]; NSValue* aValue = [info objectForKey:UIKeyboardFrameEndUserInfoKey]; CGSize keyboardSize = [aValue CGRectValue].size; float bottomPoint = (additionalView.frame.origin.y + additionalView.frame.size.height + 10); scrollAmount = keyboardSize.height - (self.view.frame.size.height - bottomPoint); if (scrollAmount > 0) { moveViewUp =YES; [self scrollTheView:YES]; } else moveViewUp = NO; }; [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserverForName:UIKeyboardWillShowNotification object:self.view.window queue:nil usingBlock:keyBoardWillShow]; void (^keyBoardWillHide) (NSNotification *)= ^(NSNotification * notif) { if (moveViewUp) [self scrollTheView:NO]; }; [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserverForName:UIKeyboardWillHideNotification object:self.view.window queue:nil usingBlock:keyBoardWillHide]; [super viewWillAppear:animated]; } - (void)viewWillDisappear:(BOOL)animated { [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] removeObserver:self name:UIKeyboardWillShowNotification object:nil]; [super viewWillDisappear:animated]; } (void)scrollTheView:(BOOL)movedUp { [UIView beginAnimations:nil context:NULL]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:0.3]; CGRect rect = self.view.frame; if (movedUp){ rect.origin.y -= scrollAmount; } else { rect.origin.y += scrollAmount; } self.view.frame = rect; [UIView commitAnimations]; }

  • How i pass my view to nib at run time(Dynamically) in viewController class?

    - by Rajendra Bhole
    Hi, I want to create viewController class programmatically in which the view of nib file of viewController is not fixed. I have a UntitledViewController class that contains 4 UIButtons: -(IBAction)buttonPressed:(id)sender{ if((UIButton *)sender == button1){ tagNumber = button1.tag; NewViewController *newVC = [[NewViewController alloc] init]; //newVC.tagN [self.navigationController pushViewController:newVC animated:YES]; NSLog(@"Button Tag Number:- %i", tagNumber); } if((UIButton *) sender == button2){ tagNumber = button2.tag; NewViewController *newVC = [[NewViewController alloc] init]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:newVC animated:YES]; } if((UIButton *) sender == button3){ tagNumber = button3.tag; NewViewController *newVC = [[NewViewController alloc] init]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:newVC animated:YES]; } if((UIButton *) sender == button4){ int x = tagNumber; tagNumber = button4.tag; NewViewController *newVC = [[NewViewController alloc] init]; newVC.untitledVC = self; [self.navigationController pushViewController:newVC animated:YES]; } } When I will click any one of the UIButtons, I want to create a new NewViewController class with button tag property but without fixed nib file. In NewViewController's loadView event I want to fix the view of the nib of NewViewController class using UIButton's tag property (In NewViewController.xib I'm creating 4 UIViews named view1, view2, view3 and view4). -(void)loadView{ [super loadView]; CGRect frame = CGRectMake(0, 0, 320, 480); UIView *newView = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:frame]; newView.tag = untitledVC.tagNumber; self.view1 = newView; } Now I want that when I click button1 the NewViewController will be generated with view1 and when I click button2 the NewViewController will be generated with view2 and so on with different implementation. Thanks.

  • Differentiate Between UITableView Editing States?

    - by Josh Kahane
    I have been looking at trying to differentiate between editing states in my UITableView. I need to call a method only when in editing mode after tapping the edit button, so when you get your cell slide in and you see the little circular delete icons but NOT when the user swipes to delete. Is there anyway I can differentiate between the two? Thanks. EDIT: Solution thanks to Rodrigo Both each cell and the entire tableview has an 'editing' BOOL value, so I loop through all the cells and if more than one of them is editing then we know the whole table is (the user tapped the edit button), however if only one is editing then we know that the user has swiped a cell, editing that individual one, this lets me deal with each editing state individually! - (void)setEditing:(BOOL)editing animated:(BOOL)animated { [super setEditing:editing animated:animated]; int i = 0; //When editing loop through cells and hide status image so it doesn't block delete controls. Fade back in when done editing. for (customGuestCell *cell in self.tableView.visibleCells) { if (cell.isEditing) { i += 1; } } if (i > 1) { for (customGuestCell *cell in self.tableView.visibleCells) { if (editing) { // loop through the visible cells and animate their imageViews [UIView beginAnimations:nil context:nil]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:0.4]; cell.statusImg.alpha = 0; [UIView commitAnimations]; } } } else if (!editing) { for (customGuestCell *cell in self.tableView.visibleCells) { [UIView beginAnimations:nil context:nil]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:0.4]; cell.statusImg.alpha = 1.0; [UIView commitAnimations]; } } }

  • My PHP login no longer works

    - by Matt Clayton
    This page worked like a charm for years... enter the correspondng user id and password and you would be redirected to your directory. Now suddenly, all attempts to log in - valid or otherwise - result in the page remaining static... no message, no redirect, nothing. Nothing in the code has changed, it just plain doesn't work anymore. Could this be the result of some kind of change on the server side? Yeah, I know it's not super secure, but it was good enough for our purposes. I'm certainly open to better suggestions. I just need it to work... and keep working. Please be gentle! I know almost nothing of programming. Here is the page code: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" > <link href="ilium.css" rel="stylesheet" media="screen"> <title>Ilium: Client Login</title> </head> <body bgcolor="#bfbfcc" background="img/loginbg.gif"> <?php /* init vars */ $userExists = false; $userIndex = -1; $authenicated = false; /*********************************************** * edit this to add new users/password * * - add user/pass/directory to the array * * below: must be in same array index to work * ***********************************************/ $user = array('foo', 'bar'); $pass = array('foo', 'bar'); $directory = array('foo', 'bar'); // run user/pass check if data passed if (isset($username) && isset($password)) { // check if user name exists for ($i = 0; $i < count($user); $i++) { if ($user[$i] == $username) { $userExists = true; $userIndex = $i; break; } } // so user exists, now test password if ($userExists) { $message = $message . • How do I enable JPEG Support for PHP?

    - by ngache
    My Configure Command doesn't say anything about jpg, nor gif/png, but I can see gif/png support in the output of phpinfo(). I built PHP with --with-gd, but only GIF Support and PNG Support are in the output of phpinfo(), how do I enable JPEG Support? UPDATE I got this problem when compiling : Sorry, I cannot run apxs. Possible reasons follow: 1. Perl is not installed 2. apxs was not found. Try to pass the path using --with-apxs2=/path/to/apxs 3. Apache was not built using --enable-so (the apxs usage page is displayed) The output of /usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs follows: cannot open /usr/local/apache2/build/config_vars.mk: No such file or directory at /usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs line 218. What should I do now?
