  I've one "master" sheet in the Excel 2010 file with all my outstanding orders detail and also reflecting how many days the orders have been outstanding. I've 4 other sheets, I'd like to extract the orders from the "master" sheet to to each of these sheets grouping them into these criteria.   I'm trying to make a huge Excel sheet reasonably maintainable, but it's huge in the "hundred-table-db" direction, rather than the "hundred-thousand-row-table" direction.   How can I combine multiple single page prints into a single print job? For example, using Firefox on Linux one can print a web page such that each sheet of paper has four pages printed upon it. I would like to combine several separate web pages so that for example, web-page-a, web-page-b and web-page-c (each less than one print page long) are printed on a single sheet of paper. I would like to do this without having to use some for of image editor to combine them.

• How do I delete a worksheet from a Google speadsheet?

  I know it sounds simple but I have 2 problems. On the first sheet I can delete the worksheet by clicking on the tab dropdown and clicking delete, but it reappears when I leave and come back.   Hey all, Has anyone had any luck using a UIPicker in the 3.2 SDK? I'm in the middle of porting an iPhone application over to an iPad and that's the one thing I can't seem to get to work. I've tried... -Creating an action sheet, add the picker as a subview and displaying it. -Creating that above action sheet, making it the view of a generic ViewController, adding that VC to a UIPopover -Making just the picker the view of a generic ViewController, adding that VC to a UIPopover With the action sheet it doesn't even attempt to draw it. In the popover view it attempts to draw but doesn't get rendered correctly. Just wanted to check to see if anyone has accomplished this and if so how. Thanks everyone!

• Setting an delegate for the UIDatePicker animation?

  If I had a date picker within an action sheet and called the following line: [datePicker setDate:newDate animated:YES]; And then my app hides the action sheet the date picker is within, is there anyway to set up a animation delegate so that the user see's the animation of the date picker first and then hides the action sheet? I have done this with UIView's by calling: [UIView setAnimationDelegate:self]; [UIView setAnimationDidStopSelector:@selector(METHOD)]; However I can not see anything like this for the date picker. • MS CRM - getting the field that caused a form save

  I have a MS CRM 4 form where when certain fields are changed, I need those fields to be written to an excel sheet. So, I edited the form field onchange event to call crmform.save() which triggers a plugin to run that writes the field value to a named range (1 cell) of an excel sheet. However, I don't know which field caused the save. Is there a way to get that information? (Not all fields on the form need to go to the excel sheet) If I use this: DynamicEntity target = (DynamicEntity)Context.InputParameters[ParameterName.Target]; I can look at specific fields, but I have no way of knowing which ones changed. Any suggestions?

I'm setting up a simple macro Option Explicit Sub Macro1() Dim sheet sheet = Worksheets.Item(1) ' This line has the error End Sub On the line with the error, I get "Run-time error '438' Object doesn't support this property or method" I can use the Watch window to see that "Worksheets.Item(1)" is a valid object. I've tried changing it to "Dim sheet As Worksheet" but same result. Ok, so what am I missing? Why does this error occur? Thanks! -Mike

• How to call webservice using same credentials as Sharepoint?

  Is it possible to do a webservice call from within an Excel sheet that has been downloaded from a sharepoint server, using the same credentials as the ones that are used for accessing the Sharepoint server? We're currently developing an Excel solution, which does webservice request from within the Excel sheet. This works fine, but the user has to log in at least twice : one for downloading/opening the Excel sheet from Sharepoint, and one to be able to execute the webservice using the right credentials. The Sharepoint server and the client machine are not in the same Active Directory domain. So "System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent()" is not an option, since this will return a user that doesn't exist on the server.

• How can I "remind" users to fill in cells on a worksheet

  Hello: I have a set of cells on a worksheet called "Docs". The cell range is (B13:C23). When users get taken to this page, they are meant to fill out each of these cells with a value from 0 through 6. My Question: Is there some code that I can attach to this sheet where, if a user does not fill in a cell with anything (ie. leaves it blank) and tries to leave the sheet or close the workbook, they are somehow reminded to fill it in? Or is there a way to not let them leave the sheet until it's completed? Thanks.. Allan

• Presenting UIModalViews in Landscap mode

  Hello, I'm trying to present some UIModalFormSheets in a my iPad application. It's working without any problems, except one thing: When I have my iPad in landscape mode my modal form sheet is moving to the center of the screen and THEN rotates into the appropiate angle. All I want is to present the modal form sheet in the right angle according to the view mode (portrait or landscape), BEFORE it is displayed, so that the user doesn't see this rotation. I have tried all the modes for modalTransitionStyle and modalPresentationStyle, but nothing seems to prevent the modal form sheet from rotating after it is displayed. This is what I'm doing: NewFavouriteSheet *newFavouriteSheet = [[NewFavouriteSheet alloc] initWithNibName:@"NewFavouriteSheet" bundle:nil]; newFavouriteSheet.modalPresentationStyle = UIModalPresentationFormSheet; [self presentModalViewController:newFavouriteSheet animated:NO]; Does anyone has a suggestion on how to show the modal view in a correct way?   Does anyone have an XML style sheet that'll convert wiki-like markup to HTML? Or is that a bad idea? I only found one style sheet that'll convert HTML to wiki-like markup, view-source:http://mozile.mozdev.org/0.8/demos/html2wiki.xsl . Or is this a bad idea? Basically, instead of following strict rules with my XML tags to format my content, I thought it'd be best to have something like this: <content> \## This is my heading </content> That way I'm free to display my content however I feel without having to modify my style sheet.   I'm wondering how MSSQL orders data that is returned from a query and the Id columns of the respective tables are all of type uniqueidentifier. I'm using NHibernate GuidComb when creating all of the GUIDs and do things like: Sheet sheet = sheetRepository.Get(_SheetGuid_); // has many lines items IList<SheetLineItem> lineItems = sheet.LineItems; I'm just trying to figure out how they'll be ordered when I do something like: foreach (SheetLineItem lineItem in lineItems) I can't see to find a good article on the way GUIDs are compared by SQL when being ordered, if that's what's happening.

Results Is there a way to open a sheet giving the sheet name ,i.e, "Values" instead of 1 or [s|S]heet1 in C# ??   I need to export multiple data tables to Excel on the clients machine, each to their own sheet. If it was just one sheet, I'd use the Excel/csv content type, but I've heard something about an XML format that can represent an entire workbook. I don't want to go down the Packaging and .xlsx route, so I need standard .xls. Our bug tracker, Gemini, used to have an export function that produced an XML file that Excel automatically opened as a multi-sheet workbook, but I can't find it. Is there still such a mechanism, and where can I find that schema?

• Delphi : Restore a pre-design tabsheet after user has closed it...

  Hello, I have a tPageControl on a form, and have made a nice 'welcome page' as a new ttabsheet at design time for the user to start off with. However, if the user closes this tab, I would like the option to bring it back, as it was in originally (much like the welcome page in the Delphi IDE). This seems like a simple problem... When the tab closes, the original sheet is freed and set nil. I tried creating the sheet again by name (e.g. tabsheet1 := ttabsheet.create) and assigning it to the pagecontrol, but none of the original components from the sheet are there anymore... I know designing the welcome page as a separate form, creating it when I need it and slapping it into a new tabsheet would work... but I was just wondering if there was a way to do it with the design time tabsheet.   I have a multi page spread sheet in excel that needs to read information dynamically from columns on other pages and have these values show up on a main page. • Generate page dynamically & insert body into another page - is this realistic?

  I have the requirement to create a page which contains a graph at the top, and for each item in the graph there's a fact sheet below. I already produce the fact sheets as stand-alone pages. Now, rather than recreating the fact sheet to include in the page I have to create, I'd like to use the work that already exists. Is it realistic that I dynamically generate each fact sheet as needed, strip out the body and insert that into the new page? If so, does anyone have any pointers or suggestions? Thanks

  I have a routine that dynamically changes a select list's "selected" option when the corresponding image from a carousel widget is clicked (it's a wordpress template selector). I'd just like to add a flash of background color, then fade to white, to give the user a visual cue that they've just changed the value of the template chooser select list. I've attempted at it below to assign the className "mySelectedOption" to the selected option, but its not working.
