• [Symfony] Login to application with GET/POST token

  I work on a Symfony web application which has a standard login form. To allow users to login more easily we want to give them a link which logs them in directly. I've already build a way to get a token to use, but I have no clue as to how the Symfony login process works, specifically how I can adapt it to take a GET/POST token instead of redirecting to the login page. Any help appreciated! Oh and this is Symfony 1.2 BTW (and no, upgrading is not an option right now)

  I have a Ruby on Rails app running on 12001. I am currently redirecting a subdomain to 127.0.0.1:12001 using some ReWriteCond detection. Now I want to redirect my subdirectory to that rails app. http[s]://domain.com/redmine to 127.0.0.1:12001 The current rules apply REQUEST_URI to the above rails path, but I need to strip "/redmine" from the front of REQUEST_URI... Any ideas?

  Setting oauth with some providers is always kind of weird; currently hitting a problem concerning the callback, i had made everything work very nicely with google, getting redirected back specifying the callback url in both the get_request_token and redirect url param oauth_callback= but it then for some reason stopped redirecting, i'm currently stuck with the pin to specify over at google.   Hi, i tried redirecting some folders to the subdomains with the same names as the folders. I tried this way but it didn't work: RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domain.com$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(test1|test2)(.*?)$ http://$1.domain.com$2 [R=301,L] I guess the problem is that the alternation of folders doesn't return a result that i can get into $1, right? I'm not a PCRE expert so andy help would be appreciated.

However, if I monitor the Web server's access.log although I see the appropriate POST request for form.cgi there is an additional GET request for form.cgi again, after 5 seconds just before redirecting the user to form.html Has anyone faced with such an issue?

  Is it possible to control the standard streams of C++ code in python? The code is wrapped with SWIG and then exposed to Python where I call one of its functions. I am getting all kinds of unwanted messages coming from C++ code and I want to suppress them either by not using the output stream or by redirecting it to a bit bucket, e.g. devnull from the os module.
