  • How can I use GPRename's regex feature to reinsert the matched-group into the 'replace'?

    - by David Thomas
    I've been using GPRename to batch-rename files; this is rather more efficient than individually correcting each file, but still seems to be less efficient than it might be, primarily because either I don't understand the regex syntax used, or because the regex implementation is incomplete1 Given a list of files of the following syntax: (01) - title of file1.avi (02) - title of file2.avi (03) - title of file3.avi I attempted to use the 'replace' (with the regex option selected, the case-sensitive option deselected): (\(\d{2}\)) The preview then shows (given that I've specified no 'replace with' option as yet): title of file1.avi title of file2.avi title of file3.avi Which is great, clearly the regex is identifying the correct group (the (01)). Now, what I was hoping to do (using the JavaScript syntax) in the 'replace with' option is use: $1 (I also tried using '$1', \1 and '\1') This was just to check that I could access the matched group, and it seems I can't, the matched group is, as I suppose might be expected, replaced with the literal replacement string. So, my question: is it possible to match a particular group of characters, in this case the numbers within the brackets, and then insert those into the replacement string? Therefore: (01) title of file1.avi (02) title of file2.avi (03) title of file3.avi Becomes: 01 title of file1.avi 02 title of file2.avi 03 title of file3.avi I absolutely suspect the former, personally.

  • WPA2 authentication fails on Ubuntu 12.04 using Rosewill RNX-N1

    - by user94156
    Decided to reduce the clutter in the house and replace a wired connection with a wireless one on my wife's system using USB network device Rosewill RNX-X1. I can see and connect to unprotected network, but WPA2 authentication repeatedly fails. RNX-X1 works on other systems (including TV); also have 2 of 'em and tried each. Worth noting that I recently switched from Comcast to CenturyLink and so switched routers. The system connected successfully to previous router (Linksys EA4500) using WPA2. Would think it is the router (Actiontec C1000A) but all other devices (TV, iPad, Windows, Blackberry, and Squeezebox) connect ok. Would appreciate some diagnostic guidance and insight (phrased for a newbie!) • Given a database table where multiple rows have the same values and only the most recent record is to be returned

    I have a table where there are multiple records with the same value but varying creation dates.  A sample of the database columns is shown here:   1: select lot_num, to_char(creation_dts,'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS') as creation_date 2: from coil_setup 3: order by lot_num   LOT_NUM                        CREATION_DATE        ------------------------------ -------------------- 1435718.002                    24-NOV-2010 11:45:54 1440026.002                    17-NOV-2010 06:50:16 1440026.002                    08-NOV-2010 23:28:24 1526564.002                    01-DEC-2010 13:14:04 1526564.002                    08-NOV-2010 22:39:01 1526564.002                    01-NOV-2010 17:04:30 1605920.003                    29-DEC-2010 10:01:24 1945352.003                    14-DEC-2010 01:50:37 1945352.003                    09-DEC-2010 04:44:22 1952718.002                    25-OCT-2010 09:33:19 1953866.002                    20-OCT-2010 18:38:31 1953866.002                    18-OCT-2010 16:15:25   Notice that there are multiple instances of of the same lot number as shown in bold. Generally speaking, here are the specs: 4GB Memory AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ × 2 64-bit Ubuntu The terminal shows me the following: me@home:~$ uname -a Linux home 3.0.0-17-generic #30-Ubuntu SMP Thu Mar 8 20:45:39 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux me@home:~$ lspci | grep VGA 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV380 [Radeon X600 (PCIE)] me@home:~$ sudo lshw -C video *-display:0 description: VGA compatible controller product: RV380 [Radeon X600 (PCIE)] vendor: ATI Technologies Inc physical id: 0 bus info: pci@0000:01:00.0 version: 00 width: 32 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm pciexpress msi vga_controller bus_master cap_list rom configuration: driver=radeon latency=0 resources: irq:44 memory:e0000000-efffffff ioport:ac00(size=256) memory:fdef0000-fdefffff memory:fdec0000-fdedffff *-display:1 UNCLAIMED description: Display controller product: RV380 [Radeon X600] vendor: ATI Technologies Inc physical id: 0.1 bus info: pci@0000:01:00.1 version: 00 width: 32 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm pciexpress bus_master cap_list configuration: latency=0 resources: memory:fdee0000-fdeeffff me@home:~$ lspci -nn | grep VGA 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc RV380 [Radeon X600 (PCIE)] [1002:5b62] The additional drivers menu in System Settings shows me nothing useful and my attempt at installing ATI's Catalyst Control center (drivers that came with the video card) failed. I believe the latest version of Ubuntu at the time was 9.x. What should I do? Install an old version of Ubuntu 9? Use some alternative driver? UPDATE: I might try my hand at a bit from this answer next: "Installing Catalyst Manually (from AMD/ATI's site)" . From a terminal, fgl_glxgears returns *"fgl_glxgears: command not found"*. Any thoughts?

  • WordPress mod_rewrite redirect specific folders

    - by Ps Cjef
    As a new user, I'm not allowed to post more than two hyperlinks here. So I have added a space after every http (ignore them and read as full URLs). System: Debian Etch, Apache 2.2 I have a WordPress instance with multiple blogs. I would like to redirect some of the folders based on the year and month, while leaving other folders go to the actual locations. Example: I have archives for a few years, like 2010, 2011 and 2012: http ://mydomain.com/wordpress/myblog/2010/02 http ://mydomain.com/wordpress/myblog/2011/01 http ://mydomain.com/wordpress/myblog/2012/01 I would like to redirect all 2010 and 2011 posts to another blog with the same folder structure: http ://mydomain.com/wordpress/myotherblog/2010/02 http ://mydomain.com/wordpress/myotherblog/2011/01 and so on. I would like to have 2012 and beyond to go to the actual site (http ://mydomain.com/wordpress/myblog/2012/01). I tried mod_rewrite with the following, one rule at a time to test redirection for just one year (and to expand later for other years), and none of them worked! * RewriteEngine is already on since there are some default WordPress rewrites. * RewriteBase is set to http://mydomain.com/wordpress/ . * I put my rule before all the other default WordPress rules are processed. Didn't work solution #1 RedirectMatch 301 /myblog/2010/(.*) /myotherblog/2010/$1 Didn't work solution #2 RewriteRule /myblog/2010/(.*) http ://mydomain.com/myotherblog/2010/$1 [R=301] Didn't work solution #3 RedirectPermanent /myblog/2010/(.*) http ://mydomain.com/myotherblog/2010/$1 I've also tried the above rules with and without a fully qualified URL for the new location. The rewrite log, with log level set to 9, did not provide any useful information. It shows that it looks at the pattern specified against the URL (as mentioned in the rule), but finally what happens is a passthrough to http ://mydomain.com/myblog/ for all URLs or a 500 Internal Server Error. Any ideas on where I could be going wrong or any alternative solutions?

  • Entry lvl. COBOL Control Breaks

    - by Kyle Benzle
    I'm working in COBOL with a double control break to print a hospital record. The input is one record per line, with, hospital info first, then patient info. There are multiple records per hospital, and multiple services per patient. The idea is, using a double control break, to print one hospital name, then all the patients from that hospital. Then print the patient name just once for all services, like the below. I'm having trouble with my output, and am hoping someone can help me get it in order. I am using AccuCobol to compile experts-exchange does not allow .cob and .dat so the extentions were changed to .txt The files are: the .cob lab5b.cob the input / output: lab5bin.dat, lab5bout.dat The assignment: http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~sgomori/314/lab5.html Hospital Number: 001 Hospital Name: Mount Carmel 00001 Griese, Brian Ear Infection 08/24/1999 300.00 Diaper Rash 09/05/1999 25.00 Frontal Labotomy 09/25/1999 25,000.00 Rear Labotomy 09/26/1999 25,000.00 Central Labotomy 09/28/1999 24,999.99 The total amount owed for this patient is: $.......... • Publish Maven artifacts on FTP with Hudson FTP Publisher Plugin

    - by jaguard
    I'm building a number of artefacts (zip files for different environments: test, dev) using the maven-assembly-plugin using a specialized Maven profile. These artefacts I want to copy/collect on on a FTP server keeping the version (01.07.10.16.Wed-1626) as a folder, so I need to copy from test/build/01.07.10.16.Wed-1626/ to ftp://my-ftp-server:21/projects/myserver-1.7/01.07.10.16.Wed-1626/ The layout for the Maven output is this: target/ build/ 01.07.10.16.Wed-1626/ my-server-01.07.10.16.Wed-1626-dev.zip my-server-01.07.10.16.Wed-1626-test.zip For copying the artefacts I'm using FTP Publisher Plugin but it seams I miss something since that even the build is OK and the artefacts are build without problem but the job is finishing without copying the artefacts, and in the console there is no log info about copying the artefacts My FTP publisher config (FTP repository hosts) is: Hostname: my-ftp-server Port: 21 Timeout: 10000 Root Repository Path: projects User Name: my-user Password: my-pass My Hudson job FTP publisher config (Publish artifacts to FTP) is: FTP site: my-ftp-server Files to upload Source: target/build/** Destination: myserver-1.7 1: There is any log to check if there are any FTP copy errors ? 2: There is any problem with the file pattern (source) or with the dest ?

  • HTTP crawler in Erlang

    - by ctp
    I'm coding on a simple HTTP crawler but I have an issue running the code at the bottom. I'm requesting 50 URLs and get the content of 20+ back. I've generated few files with 150kB size each to test the crawler. So I think the 20+ responses are limited by the bandwidth? BUT: how to tell the Erlang snippet not to quit until the last file is not fetched? The test data server is online, so plz try the code out and any hints are welcome :) -module(crawler). -define(BASE_URL, "http://46.4.117.69/"). -export([start/0, send_reqs/0, do_send_req/1]). start() -> ibrowse:start(), proc_lib:spawn(?MODULE, send_reqs, []). to_url(Id) -> ?BASE_URL ++ integer_to_list(Id). fetch_ids() -> lists:seq(1, 50). send_reqs() -> spawn_workers(fetch_ids()). spawn_workers(Ids) -> lists:foreach(fun do_spawn/1, Ids). do_spawn(Id) -> proc_lib:spawn_link(?MODULE, do_send_req, [Id]). do_send_req(Id) -> io:format("Requesting ID ~p ... ~n", [Id]), Result = (catch ibrowse:send_req(to_url(Id), [], get, [], [], 10000)), case Result of {ok, Status, _H, B} -> io:format("OK -- ID: ~2..0w -- Status: ~p -- Content length: ~p~n", [Id, Status, length(B)]); Err -> io:format("ERROR -- ID: ~p -- Error: ~p~n", [Id, Err]) end.   • XML\Jquery create listings based on user selection

    - by Sirius Mane
    Alright, so what I need to try and accomplish is having a static web page that will display information pulled from an XML document and render it to the screen without refreshing. Basic AJAX stuff I guess. The trick is, as I'm trying to think this through I keep coming into 'logical' barriers mentally. Objectives: -Have a chart which displays baseball team names, wins, losses, ties. In my XML doc there is a 'pending' status, so games not completed should not be displayed.(Need help here) -Have a selection list which allows you to select a team which is populated from XML doc. (done) -Upon selecting a particular team from the aforementioned selection list the page should display in a separate area all of the planned games for that team. Including pending. Basically all of the games associated with that team and the dates (which is included in the XML file). (Need help here) What I have so far: HTML\JS <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <link rel="stylesheet" href="batty.css" type="text/css" /> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; $(xml).find('Teams').each(function(){ var title = $(this).find('Team').text(); select.append("<option/><option class='ddheader'>"+title+"</option>"); }); select.children(":first").text("please make a selection").attr("selected",true); Any help right now would be great, I'm just banging my head against a wall. I'm trying to avoid using XSLT transforms because I absolutely despise XML and I'm not good with it. So I'd -like- to just use Javascript\PHP\etc with only a sprinkling of the necessary XML where possible..

  • Drivers for Atheros AR928X?

    - by Pato7
    I am new in Ubuntu and I had a big trouble with wifi. My ubuntu 12.10 doesn't detect my wifi card and I can't toggle the "activate wireless" option on the tasks bar (it is grey). I searched for drivers to make it work, but nothing worked for me. Can anyone give me a hand? Many thanks in advanced! lspci output 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Memory Controller Hub (rev 07) 00:01.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset PCI Express Graphics Port (rev 07) 00:1a.0 USB controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #4 (rev 03) 00:1a.1 USB controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #5 (rev 03) 00:1a.2 USB controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #6 (rev 03) 00:1a.7 USB controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB2 EHCI Controller #2 (rev 03) 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03) 00:1c.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) PCI Express Port 1 (rev 03) 00:1c.1 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) PCI Express Port 2 (rev 03) 00:1c.2 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) PCI Express Port 3 (rev 03) 00:1d.0 USB controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #1 (rev 03) 00:1d.1 USB controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #2 (rev 03) 00:1d.2 USB controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #3 (rev 03) 00:1d.7 USB controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB2 EHCI Controller #1 (rev 03) 00:1e.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge (rev 93) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation ICH9M LPC Interface Controller (rev 03) 00:1f.2 SATA controller: Intel Corporation 82801IBM/IEM (ICH9M/ICH9M-E) 4 port SATA Controller [AHCI mode] (rev 03) 00:1f.3 SMBus: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) SMBus Controller (rev 03) 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI RV710 [Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series] 01:00.1 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI RV710/730 HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 4000 series] 02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8057 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 10) 03:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. • Apache2 refuses to process php files - "Snow Leopard" OSX 10.6.4

    - by w-01
    I have a macbook pro i5. my understanding is that by default it should be able to serve php5. i have uncommented the relevant line in /etc/apache2/httpd.conf LoadModule php5_module libexec/apache2/libphp5.so I have restarted apache with sudo apachectl -k restart and when i try to access a file with a php extension, Apache prompts me to download the file. i.e. instead of processing the php and sending me html, it thinks i want to download the file.... when i look in apache error log i see this [Fri Nov 12 10:16:14 2010] [notice] Apache/2.2.14 (Unix) PHP/5.3.2 mod_ssl/2.2.14 OpenSSL/0.9.8l DAV/2 mod_wsgi/3.2 Python/2.6.1 configured -- resuming normal operations so it looks like php5 is loading properly. I'd like to know either: How do i fix this? or How do I reinstall apache2 so that it's like i just installed the os? thanks in advance update @Zayne - the end of my httpd.conf has Include /private/etc/apache2/other/*.conf and i have a file /etc/apache2/other/php.conf with the contents <IfModule php5_module> AddType application/x-httpd-php .php AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps <IfModule dir_module> DirectoryIndex index.html index.php </IfModule> </IfModule> @Zayne I've already copied php.ini.default to php.ini in the same folder. when i run sudo apachectl configtest i get /usr/sbin/apachectl: line 82: ulimit: open files: cannot modify limit: Invalid argument httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using ::1 for ServerName Syntax OK furthermore i decided to try apachectl -M which shows all loaded modules Most importantly in the list of loaded modules i got Loaded Modules: php5_module (shared) Since the module is being loaded, it seems like the issue has more to do with making apache use php engine to process the php files.... so something wrong with the ifmodule directive?

  • How to use SSL3 instead of TLS in a particular HttpWebRequest?

    - by Anton Tykhyy
    My application has to talk to different hosts over https, and the default setting of ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol = TLS served me well up to this day. Now I have some hosts which (as System.Net trace log shows) don't answer the initial TLS handshake message but keep the underlying connection open until it times out, throwing a timeout exception. I tried setting HttpWebRequest's timeout to as much as 5mins, with the same result. Presumably these hosts are waiting for an SSL3 handshake since both IE and Firefox are able to connect to these hosts after a 30-40 seconds' delay. There seems to be some fallback mechanism in .NET which degrades TLS to SSL3, but it doesn't kick in for some reason. FWIW, here's the handshake message my request is sending: 00000000 : 16 03 01 00 57 01 00 00-53 03 01 4C 12 39 B4 F9 : ....W...S..L.9.. 00000010 : A3 2C 3D EE E1 2A 7A 3E-D2 D6 0D 2E A9 A8 6C 03 : .,=..*z>......l. 00000020 : E7 8F A3 43 0A 73 9C CE-D7 EE CF 00 00 18 00 2F : ...C.s........./ 00000030 : 00 35 00 05 00 0A C0 09-C0 0A C0 13 C0 14 00 32 : .5.............2 00000040 : 00 38 00 13 00 04 01 00-00 12 00 0A 00 08 00 06 : .8.............. 00000050 : 00 17 00 18 00 19 00 0B-00 02 01 00 : ............ Is there a way to use SSL3 instead of TLS in a particular HttpWebRequest, or force a fallback? It seems that ServicePointManager's setting is global, and I'd really hate to have to degrade the security protocol setting to SSL3 for the whole application.

  • Zlib compression in boost::iostreams not compatible with zlib.NET

    - by Johan
    Hello, I want to send compressed data between my C# to a C++ application in ZLIB format. In C++, I use the zlib_compressor/zlib_decompressor available in boost::iostreams. In C#, I am currently using the ZOutputStream available in the zlib.NET library. First of all, when I compress the same data using both libraries, the results look different: boost::iostreams::zlib_compressor: FF 13 49 48 00 00 01 00 01 00 00 00 63 61 60 60 F8 00 C4 C1 25 45 99 79 E9 23 87 04 00 zlib.NET (zlib.ZOutputStream): FF 13 49 48 00 00 01 00 01 00 00 00 78 9C 63 61 60 60 F8 00 C4 C1 25 45 99 79 E9 23 87 04 00 4F 31 63 8D (Note the 78 9C pattern that is present in zlib.NET, but not in boost). Furthermore, when I decompress data in boost that I compressed in zlib.NET, I am not able to read from the stream suggesting something is wrong. It does work when I try to decompress data compressed in boost. Does anybody know what is going wrong? Thank you, Johan
