  I am trying to display a waiting spinnger, while uploading a file. I am able to show the spinner, and to do the upload, when doing it individually. My problem is how to combine these two.   I am a rails developer, using Ubuntu 13.10 installed on a Asus S550C Ultrabook (was a windows 8 machine originally) Every day I work with Sublime Text 2, Google Chrome, and Terminal (about 6 tabs open) The problem: clicking on the menu bar (eg File - Save) while using Sublime Text 2 will occasionally (eg almost always) make the ENTIRE COMPUTER freeze for up to 20 seconds. This occasionally happens when I go to log out / lock my computer. Sometimes it doesn't freeze completely but rather is just very sluggish and then recovers. I don't know if this is a problem with Sublime Text 2, or the Ubuntu 13.10 operating system. (Thanks for reading) Best Regards

For example, let's say a user can create Favorites, Colors and Tags. And let's say Favorites has_many :tags and Colors also has_many :tags.   I have serveral PCs running Windows 7 in different falvors (32- / 64-bit / Professional / Ultimate / ATI / Nvidia) - they all have one problem in common... ...if I don't work on any of them for a longer time and the screen goes off as it should be (all default settings!) they sometimes go into some kind of sleep mode where I get to see the desktop or whatever I did before leaving after moving the mouse or pressing a key - but nothing reacts for a different amount of time from serveral seconds to serveral minutes! Any hint that helps solving this anoying problem would be very welcome ;-)

  I recently changed the name of the administrator and turned off passwords then clicked lock. After some time, I decided to add a password so I clicked on unlock and it's prompting me to enter a password. I tried typing the old password and it didn't accepted it. I also tried to set password and keys as "set to default" but still nothing happened. Now I'm stuck and can't get to change the administrator settings. I did my research but nothing seems to work.   I just installed Windows 7 pro x64 from Dreamspark (MSDNAA). But i can't figure out how to configure it. 1/ When I want to acces some folders a pop up show up and tells me "that I need administrator acces to do it" I click the "continue" button and I can go inside the folder. What was even the point in showing me this pop up? how can I remove it? 2/ In some folder when I do a right clic I can only create a new folder, not a new text file, not a rar, nothing. In the same folder I also cannot extract RAR (by doing right clic, extract here) Any Idea how to get back full control? Thanks.

  I seem to stumble on problem after problem giving my entities behavior. I have a system where a user gets a notification when someone comments his article. Right now it is via an e-mail. I'm struggeling how to implement this the DDD way. Option 1 User entity has a Notify method: User.Notify() The method uses C# built in classes to send an e-mail notification via e-mail The problem with having this in the domain is that it is technology spesific, and how a user is notified might change in the future. I feel this belongs to infrastructure, but how then can a user have behavior? Option 2 I create a Service: NotificationService.Notify(User) The Service uses C# built in classes to send an e-mail The pro is that the service could be an Application Service, and as far as I know an application service can use the infrastructure and call things like the System.Net.Mail and repositories for that sake. How would you implement this?

• $.ajax not loading data data everytime from server

  I have written a simple jQuery.ajax function which loads a user control from the server on click of a button. The first time I click the button, it goes to the server and gets me the user control. But each subsequent click of the same button does not goes to the server to fetch me the user control. Since my user control fetches data from db, I need to reload the user control everytime i hit the button. But if anyhow I get my user control to unload from the page, and re-click the button, it goes to the server and fetches me the user control.   My iTunes 9.0.2 hangs on launch in OS X 10.6.2. This doesn't happen all the time, only if I've been running for a while. Then it will recur until I restart. Similarly Safari 4.0.4 will hang in the flash player plugin when about to play a video. If I restart both these problems go away until later. Based on this crash dump I am suspecting Audio Hijack Pro. I will try to install a newer version of the driver involved, but so far I haven't had much luck. I have uninstalled the Flash Plugin (10.0.r42 and r32) but clearly I want it in the long run. This is iTunes' crash report.   I've been searching for hours for resources on how to successfully use registration free Com interop. I've found some resources on using old COM libraries in .net applications, but allmost nothing on using new .NET libraries in COM applications (more spcecific: VB6 applications) Basically my search gave two useful resources: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms973915.aspx (Walkthrough by Steve Wight) There is allso the main MSDN article on the subject (No link because this is my first post, and I am only allowed one link) Is nobody else doing this, or am I the only one struggling to get my head around it? • How do I compile Android Browser (or other android-supplied applications)

  I want to add support for Arabic (or other languages which are currently unsupported) to the applications supplied by android platform (e.g. Browser) without having root-access. To add Arabic support (at least displaying only) in a normal application (using developer SDK), I will need to: Add fonts Modify (reshape) the characters to be rendered For illustration, if I have string a aaa, I will need to change a aaa into a bcd because letter a at the beginning, middle, and end of a word need to be changed to b,c and d respectively) But now I want to compile android's Browser (and other apps). I am planning to get the source codes for these applications and their dependencies and bundle them as stand-alone applications which do not require root-access, and thus do not void the warranty. Other solutions which void the warranty can be obtained here. My Questions: Is the application's (e.g. Browser's) source code + 'developer SDK' enough to accomplish this? Do I need to get the source code + the development environment for the android platform? Any tips?
