  • SharePoint Search Center issue

    Hello everyone, I am using SharePoint Server 2007 with collaboration portal template on Windows Server 2008. The default search address for a site is pointed to /SearchCenter/Pages/Results.aspx. Any ideas how to change the address to some other address? Either programming solution or easy config solution is fine. thanks in advance, George

    Does anyone know of or even better.. can wholeheartedly recommend a WPF graph layout component (Microsoft Research had GLEE a while back but it hasn't been updated after 1.0 since 2007 and isn't WPF etc) as seen e.g. in the screenshot below?     I want to know if PHPExcel can: Create Excel spreadsheets with embeded image. The image must be compressed (jpeg, png, gif...). Create Excel spreadsheets for different Excel versions (2000, 2003, 2007...). I'm pretty sure it can do this but I can't find it in the official docs. Anyone familiar with this class can help? Motivation: I would like to code sign several Word templates as part of an automated daily build and distribution cycle.     Hello, I'm using outlook 2007. Two days ago, we've enabled auto-archiving, maybe that't the source of our problems, but I still have to investigate. At any rate, auto completion of email addresses in the to/cc/bcc fields has become a stopper, taking up to a minute to do something.   • "Access 2002 vs SQL Server 200*" as DB for sharepoint

    I work with a team that has a sharepoint site currently runnning and its lists are linked to an access DB. My question is really on the investment level, what would be the reasons to upgrade DB to sharepoint if only a few 100 users access this site. Is there a real benefit to replacing the DB with a version of SQL Server, escpecially if about to replace Access 2002 with 2007 some day. I know SQL Server can handle more memory and traffic for more users, but I'm looking for more reasons than that if there are any.
